hi, im new to speedrunning, and am trying to speedrun this category for fun after watching this vid, but im having some trouble, stuff like: how do i jump early in breakroom? im only able to start jumping after the door with the button how do i jump higher? i do squat and stand up as i jump and its still much lower than completely jumping over tall stuff like in streets, warehouse and tower my bhoping is also not so fast, i tried squatting lower and higher and changing the timing of the jumps but regardless its still not very fast im unable to get the timing on slowmo jumps, i tried releasing before, during and after i let go of jump but it doesnt affect much most of the time how is goldpro able to instantly break locks with nothing? how do i effectively ride the orb on time tower? most of the time it just disconnects upon touching the foot, and when it does work it usually sends me backwards or forward without height is defeating the king in throne room really as simple as just jumping and grabbing his crown in slowmo?
Ill try to help you out as much as i can. 1. I think hes moving his right stick up and down to simulate jumping, i could be wrong tho. 2. It sounds like you are doing the right thing but it might just need more practice. Im not too good at it either 3.to bhop i put my hands on my knees and its faster than walking but its still not as fast as goldpro, again might just need more practice 4. He uses his head to break the locks, its a little difficult to get the right angle but its not too bad 5. When you jump on the orb, dont let it touch the ground and try to stay centered on the orb and lift the staff up to go up and move it left to go right and right to go left 6. You can defeat the king really easily by grabbing the crown in slomo and moving it to your head and letting go. You can then grab the crown off your head and beat the hell out of the king with it
@@Petrick70 thanks for the reply. i do probably need a lot more practice, lots of stuff i have difficulty with ends up looking easy here. also ive tried grabbing the king's crown at the end, it really is that easy, just grabbing it in slowmo kills him even before moving it to your head. the orb riding and headbutting locks though, im not gonna get that working anytime soon >_
You can’t directly as there is a brick pole in the middle, it might be possible to kind of cut some corners with it tho, not really sure if it will save any time tho
