She spends her money as she pleases. And provides work and jobs for a lot of people. Keeping skills and huge talents alive and flourishing. The world would be a much poorer place without this lady and people like her.
Ha Ad The Associated Press creates footage and copy (the story in the description) for other news stations to use. News stations pay the AP for the rights to use their footage in their reporting. A dozen or more stations might run their own story about this woman. By using footage from the AP, they don’t all have to send reporters to interview the woman. They rely on the AP. Because of this, there is no reason for the AP to edit their video or add voice over. It’s meant to be almost like stock images. Someone else will license the video and put together a well-produced story.
@fredo Fred - Haute couture is indeed art. You cannot look at collections -- particularly recent collections -- and not understand that they are art. How many people do you imagine have been fed by couture fashions? Fabric designers, fabric manufacturers, petroleum industry (petroleum derivative fabrics), the various designers, cutters, dressmakers, seamstresses with varying couture skills, models, hairdressers, makeup artists, makeup and skin care manufacturers, stylists, photographers, event planners, musicians (for the music), venues, media (internet, TV, magazines, newspapers), reporters, all those involved with knock-offs, distributors of the materials needed for the couture fashions. Hundreds of thousands -- millions. Feed the hungry, you say. That statement implies taking money from some to feed others. Far better to find ways to improve the lives and productivity of the hungry. Meanwhile, I am astounded by this woman. Totally self-absorbed, selfish sponger. Yes sponger, living off the assets of an ex-husband, contributing nothing herself. Simply selling off certain items, for less than she paid for them, when storage space becomes scarce. I am all for innovative, creative, successful business people living off the $billions they generate, but this woman is entirely different. Not even saving the pieces for museums mitigates what she does, in my view. Fashion ends up in museums, without her. The ex husband, really stupid to have paid her so much, or is it a matter of unfair justice for the ex-husband in a court of law (whatever form of law that would have taken). Perhaps, more focus on the hows and whys of the Saudi Royal Family and their advisors; and the merits or not of their wealth, not a black and white issue.
Steven Tyler is a national treasure who looks like the cool aunt who used to do blow with Stevie Nicks back in the 70’s, and believes in crystals. I love him. ♥️
She don't needs to show up what she has because she's hombo . Besides the way she is she's just a lovely angel .. But then. Social media is about critics. Easy when you don't know the person .!
It is too bad this is such poorly made and scattered video. Mouna Ayoub is a fascinating person. She loves couture with touching innocence. She believes in Couture as art. Art to preserve. As a designer myself I think it is wonderful she is preserving such works of art for generations to come.
Her medical team is world class for sure. She looks amazing. If it wasn't for the slightly slurred speech, it would be near impossible to discern her age.
Dont talk rubbish is not her money her husband stolen from saudi Arabian people just like their royal family most people there live in poverty! So we do have a say what she does with her money
I’m a fashion designer and I’m still learning but I dunno this isn’t what I expect my clients to be like. She is a real customer no doubt. Unlike celebrities who hire couture or get it for free she actually buys the pieces and appreciates them. But something seems so off about her...
It's because she's not born into wealth and doesn't have the class and upbringing. She was a waitress who married into wealth who just happened to get a lot from the divorce. That's why. You can have all the money and still seem like you don't come from money.
SHE. IS. EVERYTHING. I love her so much. I don’t know what’s a bigger treasure. Her, or her collection. Naw. Definitely her. How much fun is she as an art collector? You have to appreciate how many artists she has kept employed all over the years. I LOVE that she says that the message in the bottle was only for royalty. No celebrities. Utter genius. 😹👍🏼🧡
Because people are jealous. Because poor people always blame the rich. Or some people like me just don't like the Haute Couture industry because of how cruel it is to animals . But Mrs Mouna Ayoub is quite the character and is indeed very humble , for a lady who has spent over 150 million euros in haute couture alone .
@@lisamcallister6534 you know her personally??? The AMERICAN hate is an ugly thing , because we all know everything Fabulous comes from AMERICA and Hollywood baby......dont be jealous.
my mother was the chef of the Mrs Betsy Bloomingdale for decades…and she was a close friend and a frequent guest in her legendary dinners….and she calls every now and then (Mrs B never uses voice mails..so my mother almost always picks up her phone)..and in a way they have known each other as she always goes to he kitchen to personally thank mother dear for a “divine dinner”….this goes for years eventually… and my mother would end up having small talks with her if Mrs B was not around….and she levels with my mother with such grace and humility always…. i believe she has the biggest canary diamond ring …and you can’t take your eyes of how loud and gigantic it is…and she always sweetly offers for anyone to try them…. her world is in a different level and yet she makes you feel …not intimidated by her at all….such a character of true grace, wealth and humility
Her wealth is stolen from Saudi people google who she was married too! An empty soul she cant take anything with her! I am not jealous but outraged! Can she not hear the pain and suffering children of Syria and Yemen! Vile human being
It's very difficult to see Mouna in this state, she's unrecognizable. The difficult moments in her life, which she has experienced in recent years, have completely transformed her. So sad... @lautrentd2c
She wrote that she was mistreated as a wife, having to obey to strict and controlling rules in Saudi Arabia. Well why doesn't she use her wealth to help other women?
how much money do you have please go donate it, i hate people that say why dont you give your money to the poor your rich. she has done hundreds of charity galas and donated a lot of money so shut the fuck up
I think, everyone does as she or he's meant to. Mouna Ayoub is rich and takes the liberty do do want she wants; I am getting older, too. For me plastic surgery is not an option (and I can't afford). Surely I have an opinion about her looks, but it's her choice, not mine.
She has been a huge supporter of the industry because there was a huge lull in couturiers since it was considered gauche to flaunt your money. She helped make it cool again to support this art form.
Interesting glimpse into the world of Mouna al Ayoub. Would have loved a birds eye view of how her Haute Couture collection is archived and stored. I wish Queen Letizia of Spain could be talked into being cast in a major LGS campaign. She could donate her fee to charity. Just to shake things up a bit. She’s gorgeous. That’s all.💡
@@bellablow4287 my mom is 75 and no visible rinckes and not slurring she still waking up 4 am everyday Take a cold shower.. cook breakfast and then walks around the neighborhood... Bless her..
EMMA Lee self righteousness is what’s wrong...judging is what make us human ...from the moment u open ur eyes...the decision u made is based on a judgment...of good or bad ...beautiful or ugly....is it latte or americano!! In supermarket...is it organic or processed...should I swallow or not ...ur decision to comment is coz u judge that I’m being judgmental....u too r guilty! ..the world is a mess coz everyone is preaching and hypocrite...everyone is a criminal with keyboard as a weapon and entitlement and self righteousness is a bullet.
@@bellablow4287 sweetheart.. I don't have IG, Twitter and FB account.. I don't need validation of likes! What's important is u read it coz it's meant for u.
She is smart she can sell One of king couture she own anytime for a lot of money specially all Karl’s collections bc is no more ... she is smart women don’t worry about her ., worry about yourself that you never will see this the magic of Couture
Way too much talking and no showing at all. No one cares about silver cups or whatever ugly things she showed. And she never wears things twice bc she gets photographed "a lot"? Girl please. And it shows she's not a true couture lover and enthusiast. I would wear something over and over again if as she claims, she had pieces from Yves and Karl themselves. And also a bad part about couture as a business is that you very well could have your designs dumbed down for a hoarder with no taste like her. So she may not have the best collection. The best pieces are the ones shown on the runway
@@1lunarin No shit, Sherlock, I already pointed out she never showed anything. Trash on the internet with that profile picture? LMAO and she's trash herself.
@@icemeoutlikeelsa this coming from someone who doesnt even have a picture because you are nothing lol, and you didnt even see anything than why did you say 'your designs dumbed down for a hoarder with no taste like her." if you didnt see anything why did you make the assumption, i think someones mad that their poor trash
@@1lunarin LOL some broke bitch in their grandma's basement thinks standing up for a rich hoarder with no taste puts them on the same level of wealth hahahaha keep the dream alive!
@@icemeoutlikeelsa coming from money myself and reading your original comment its clear to me you have never owned couture or lived in any life of luxury, good luck talking shit about something you clearly know nothing about, like i said, trash
Every interviewer should make his/ her subject feel at ease, this guy is auful, can't he help her with his questions to express what she wants to say clearly? This video is all over the place
She is lucky her ex husband never want killed her like many Saoud princes with their wife or cousins... Special mentality, but they take her children and she passed her life alone...
Good for her if it makes her happy. Wouldnt make me happy. I'd buy up land where ever I could and make nature preserves, animal sanctuaries, help those in need. Clearly she may be high on the self indulgent materialistic scale but on the bottom wrungs of the spiritual one. Also I think she looks alot like Sanchez, girl friend of JB.
@@dpcisunbreakable thank you. I know you are right. And I'm not meaning to judge her, I just find so much money for clothing is silly and wasteful. I would spend it in ways other ways. But then I'll probably never have that kind of money.😢
How do you feel about the artists that love creating and get to do what they love because she supports them? And have you read anything about her? Do know any of her philanthropic work?
The edit really makes me laugh, it sounds like every time he asks a question or starts talking she just cuts him off. She's so rich she doesn't give a fuck haha.
