Totally you can see her face lit up and her energy changes whenever she talks about the details of couture fashions. I think that is genuine, of course their lives are not typical, thats why they are entertaining ... lol
@@CoachKarter215 it's a form of over the top expression. example here when i say to my son "i told you a million times over already not to leave your dirty plate on table so what i need to say it some more million times to tell you to put your plate in the sink" or another example when i go all dramatic and state "it took me all day & night to make that two layer cake" it obviously took me some time but defiantly not all day/night🤣🤦🤣
There’s certain humbleness in the way she describes her pasión to clothes and relationship with the houses, just as I feel about my bakery or barbershop, and that’s really nice.
Damn I thought she was going to wear each and every one for us to see. That would have been awesome. Love Christine on the show. A classy woman that hates confrontation but can go fire with fire when needed.
That’s what poor celebs do to show us their ready to wear. These pieces are extreme delicate and sewn by hand. I don’t expect her to throw them all on without proper assistance and hair and maker up etc -
Dont care what some people say, love her, she is classy, sophisticated, a fashion icon. Everything looks good on her. She is real and say it like it is.
I love her. I watch Bling Empire, and while I also like Anna Shey, I’ve always thought she was too hard on Christine. This video confirms why I love her. She is gracious, well-spoken, articulate, intelligent, and charming. And I respect her love, passion, and respect for the designers and the fashion houses.
I love the love, passion and respect this woman has for haute couture and the hard labor that goes into creating such pieces. She’s sincere, captivating and most of all humble about owning such items. Thank you for sharing! ♥️
You're the best christine don't let those other people in bling Empire get to you , you are also a very very good person, ask the public no faults seen
Truly she has more poise, glam and charm than all the influencers invited to the met gala combined. She is the type of woman you want to see in that carpet because she clearly had a pasión for fashion and a respect that those children lack.
Sorry..... but she is incorrect. They will make several of the same items for different women who can afford, it. Yes, they may make very subtle changes for each woman to fit her, but it is still the same item. However for very VERY special clients they will design/make one-off items.
Sorry to say Haute Couture doesn’t mean there’s only one it’s VERY limited and only for people who can afford it but all it signifies is that the house will make the clothes custom fitted to your body. A house only makes a one of a kind for only the most important clients
Thank you. Something seems very off to me about her. I'm not sure if the houses are lying to her but she seems much less educated in haute couture than she's trying to come off as.
I mean this in the NICEST POSSIBLE WAY I REALLY DO.... Excellent insight but please Haute Couture presented on those mis-matched and plastic hangers, beyond that I love her passion and background story for each piece.... 😍😍😍
The Valentino look with the feathered hat reminds me of a Audrey Hepburn look. I can’t remember where from but I’m sure I’ve seen her wear a similar outfit
Yes you’re possibly thinking of Audreys wide brim hat with scarf in Breakfast at Tiffany’s! A lot of inspiration from her and continual development of that style is still present in today’s fashion (and probably always will be).
Haute couture is not only 1 of 1s, they have a runway for them for clients to see and purchase if they want. They only thing that might make haute couture pieces 1 of 1 comes down to the price and who can actually afford it.
Either the BE series edited her to be someone else or her true self. We won't know, however i like her appreciation for every piece and it comes with a story! She must be a good conversation starter!
Christine; " I don't care about money or any of that [name dropping etc.]" (season 2) Also christine " to start, I wore this haute couture gown next to prince Charles💅💁♀️ 😇" LOL i love her 🤣
Its really interesting about haute couture because as a former designer and knowing how the industry works its not what you think. People spend thousands of dollars on these clothes and at the end of the day they really cost no where near what they pay. People try and make things so exclusive and to be honest its fabric, sewn together by a tailor to fit your body. I could go on and on about the reality of it all but I wont.
Yeah, she said another celebrity wore it too. Looks like those fashion houses tell rich people what they want to hear to make them part with their dollars.
She said so many contradictory things .. her favourite item is a jumpsuit because it is functional, practical, and comfortable; and comfort is everything. But functionality, practicality and comfort are the farthest things from haute couture fashion! I wonder which haute couture item she has worn more than once to an event that it was made for? ..On average, a garment takes tens of thousands of hours to put together??? Yeah, maybe if you include the time it takes silk worms to spin silk fibres for the fabric. She went to London, to an event at Buckingham Palace with only one 'risque' dress in her luggage, and another one on the way? to London - where she probably shops couture all the time for her collections - and she didn't have a single contact, or anyone to get in touch with, who could lend her a dress suitable for the function? Or, indeed, she didn't even have an hour to hop out in London (where there's everything and anything for any budget) to buy a formal dress?
@@dejavu011 oh my god I thought the same! 10,000 hours is 416 days STRAIGHT with no break. If you assume 8 hour days, 5 days a week for 50 weeks a year, that equates to five years of work!! On one dress. The whole time. Lol.
@@rayarusho9555 no she is right, SOME dresses can be 10,000 hours. But typically multiple designers are working on it, they just count the time each designer spent on it, even if it over laps.
