Hello everyone,
A few weeks ago I was part of the MakerfaireGent to show my latest knex construction.
After 1 month of non-stop building I've managedto build the World's Biggest Knex Pendulum ride!
The ride is 4.72meters (15.5 feet), has 3 knex motors, a lowering floor just like a real pendulum ride, a smart transmission on the main axle to prevent fatigue or damage to the knex motors, and an animatronic head with moving eyebrows, eyes and mouth, just to make it a bit more special.
The ride was disassembled into 16 different knex parts to fit in our campervan. when arrived at the MakerfaireGent the knex parts were reassembled which took about 2 hours.
After a whole weekend operating the world's biggest knex pendulum ride, it was deconstructed in 30minutes. At this time the ride is already completely demolished.
