The World's Easiest Cushion Cover! 

I'm a beginner and consider myself a "RU-vid" sewer! This was very simple & easy to understand. I modified it to create a cover for my daughter's kindergarten mat. Super quick, easy and looks great! Thanks so much!!!

Molly! I did it! I really did it! Yay for me! I'm on a roll now. I get the pillow forms at garage sales and thrift stores(must be clean). Many times I get the feather forms that are inside an old pillow cover that nobody would be interested in. You learn these things being on a budget. I also get really nice fabric scraps this way. I look for old curtain panels..and if I see a quality panel, I buy it, deconstruct it and use it as a pillow cover. Next..cording, trim and buttons!

I thought I had the quickest and easiest way to sew an envelope cushion cover, until I seen your wonderful video! This saves me 2 seams! I am making cushions to sell and with the fabrics I shall join and cut to give my own artistic touch, your method will still work brilliantly. Lovely! I have made them before..but stitched on all 3 sides..then whip stitched the fourth side after inserting the pillow form. Never looked good. This is great. I'm going to make a pillow before breakfast!

I make & donate bedding to our local shelters & was looking for a way of not having to use/buy zippers or Velcro...you've just provided me with that! Thanks for the comment! The best Fabric is Cotton, preferably an upholstery weight (but like denim). Depending on the size of your Cushion, a metre should get you about 2 cushions, possibly more!

Hey HeadGirl! Thx for the comment! This version is much Easier, although.....the other lady's version is cool for inserting piping or fringing etc as all 4 sides are open / seamed. Take care and thx again for watching & commenting!

Thanx for your comment, very uplifting! You can use fusion tape for the double turned down edges, but you could hand stitch the 2 sides. Fusion tape would hold the sides, especially when the cushion goes inside. Good Luck and thanks again
