I'm glad I don't live next to your shop, I'd never get anything done! I'd be at your shop wanting to work along side you guys in all your awesome projects. Always love seeing what you come up with next!
@@themechanic1779 I thought the transits were a newer line for Ford because I didn't really start noticing them until the late 2000s, but your comment made me do a google search. Predecessor of the German and British-built Transit, the first production Ford to wear the "Transit" badge was a van built in Ford's Köln (Cologne) plant in Germany. It was introduced in 1953 as FK 1000 (carrying 1,000 kg) with a 1.2-litre inline-four engine from the contemporary Taunus. The more you know
Google "10 worst states for education" before your next post. I'm in Texas but don't take honest rankings personally... Other states put Mississippi and West Virginia "below" Arkansas.
@@spookyghost7524 If I'm gonna denigrate someone's state or homeland, I try to pick the one ranked there via some source w/some cred. H8rs gonna hate, but if they check a fact they won't be as obvious an idiot, you know? Feel I gotta add a (^_^) here since all we have is thumbs to vote...
Maybe not... dual real wheels come pretty close to balancing the engine weight. (I drive a quad cab dually and it's just about perfectly balanced front to rear.) But as tall as it is for the remaining wheelbase, yeah, it probably wants to flip forward regardless of where the bottom weight is. Now what would be fun is to put a set of wheels on the top, hit the brakes, and see if it could do a full flip and right itself again. Or just drive it upsidedown. :) Hey, have they welded two Ladas together that way yet? :)
I have been watching for like a year now, awesome projects, great content. But. The guy with the hat, i feel he is the star of the show. He NEVER talks he just works, he doesnt care about talking. He's the kind of guy thats silent all night but when everyone is drunk in the club at 3 in the morning he rides a horse onto the dancefloor or something ... Keep up the good work!
Best automotive engineering channel out there. I mean, this is not only entertaining, but often the results educate people more than they admit. Too many channels out there sticking box mods on their cars and pretending to be something for it. Here there is thought put into things. Very under rated channel.
@@smashandburn1 Humour is not the same as idiotism and clear lack of understanding of the subject matter. As someone who actually studied the field, it is hard to see where the joke is. And as mentioned, it is a safety issue when welding, hardly a joke.
Everyone I know: - you should be focusing on your career - when are you going to meet a nice girl? - when are you going to get married and have kids? Me: Watching a group of Russians work on an old van
No man should get tied down by a selfish vampire to suck any sort of creativity from a man . Any man saying such shit is jealous he isnt free to do what he wants . Dont own a women bec you cant so rent her then get an update each time . When you want kids just adopt or pay for the surrogacy . The west is fucked so dont follow us to a contract by a fake government .
Just going through stuff i got to garage 54 and 2 a clock in the morning trying to sleep now i am right awake seen this funny short van. Great hard working job. 👍👋👋👋👋👋
I don't think you could get that van any shorter great job. It looks like an optical illusion, your really going to freak people out with that thing. Fantastic. I wish I could hang out with you guys sometime, but, the world being as big as it is, not likely. Great videos man.
Lol, 😂🤣😂, I hear it. Does anyone know the name of this this track? I've already googled some lyrics and also tried, turn it, into solid jizz.... 🤔Seems obvious now what Google would find.
@@OffGridInvestor that literally makes no sense 😂 I don't look at many photoshopped images = I don't look at many memes? Most memes aren't even photoshopped, they're just made by adding text on a template. You don't look at many memes do you...
I love how you actually do some pretty solid on-the-fly engineering in y'all's fabrications, making for more interesting viewing and better results. You've built something with a smaller Wheelbase than Axle Track! Kudos! Also, do you re-register this with a lower GVWR once it can't hold as much and has a lower curb weight?
Now that you've removed all of the superfluous length, you now have the option parking your van like a motorcycle - perpendicular to the curb. It's possible that you have reduced the cargo capacity to some degree but it sure is nice to have parking options.
