I have an idea for you @Garage54 to make in manual FWD an additional powerful electric motor in rear wheels to test if activating will consume fewer petrol if really is low the consumption as they claimed the companies!
I know a lady who accidentally turned left at a level crossing and drive up the tracks! Anyways, we checked her oil once and the dipstick was completely dry. Not a speck of oil even on the tip. She had NEVER checked it or had it changed.
I've been working on my own cars since the '80s. Even rebuilt a couple of engines back then (on my '73 Camaro, God I still miss that car). I honestly never thought of it the way he has shown it. I was always petrified that if I went even slightly above the Max dipstick line my engine would be toast. Thank you for the video and helping people know that a little bit too much is not the end of their car.
I have so many analogies to describe what you do with your talent is amazing because anybody can make a motor run but the things that you do probably benefit the mechanic world ,looks like somebody else we know who did things they shouldn’t have that benefited the whole world but anyways, God bless you you’re one heck of a dude the things you do to vehicle’s are awe inspiring. Wow.
Oil has detergent in it and transmission fluid has even more, I would recommend putting ATF in the engine and running it for a few minutes rather than do this.
Indeed you can, if you put some dish soap in your engine, run it when its cold for two minutes and then flush the engine add new oil and filter, it does wonders.
Id like to see an electric motor assist setup to add horsepower to a lada engine. Sort of a diy hybred but not for fuel economy just to add power. Maybe a 10 horsepower electric motor belt drive to crankshaft pulley running off a generator in trunk? Unless u guys already did this? Keep up the cool builds from chester nova scotia, canada.
