Road Trip Ohio! Yogi Bear's dream has come true, in the form of a 7 story Basket! But just when you think that's the World's largest basket, surprise, we find another World's largest Basket fifteen minutes away! All I can say is the Longaberger Basket people are wild! But it's a good job there's huge baskets in Newark and Dresden Ohio, because right near Columbus' Waterfalls, Dublin Ohio has some GIANT food to fill them! Welcome to Cornhenge!

The story of Longenberger is awesome and sad. The company did a lot of good in the region the 90's, but when baskets went out of fashion, thousands of Muskingum and Licking county residents lost jobs. Whenever I am in a thrift store out of state and see a basket, I always turn it over to see if I recognize the initials of the weaver. When I was little I played inside the basket in Dreseden. It was less creepy then. I always loved eating at Popeyes across the street. They had table juke boxes and I thought that was so cool. It's fun seeing you in my home area.

I used to work in the section of Dublin by Cornhenge. I laughed every time I headed over to Tuttle Crossing. I would love to turn the Longaberger Basket Building into a residence. I live 1200 miles away now, but I have the matching Picnic Basket on top of my kitchen cabinets. It is quite sad that you were not able to make it over to the Longaberger Homestead while it was still thriving. Ohio has many interesting places to go like the Serpent Mound, the salt mines under Lake Erie (if you can get someone to let you in). A lot of locations have Indian names so the pronunciations can be entertaining. The Scioto River is pronounced Si-o-toe. Enjoy your road trips, the make life grand.

I was just watching your video of the world's largest baskets made by Longaberger and the city of Dresden where their original headquarters are, n the water fall with the wooden pathways through the trees,n my roommate said she has actually been to see those 2 giant baskets in person!!! Small world. Loved the corn field too.!!lol!! Always a winner, when I watch your videos. I live in Ohio so that's why I chose to watch this one. I sure hope I can find the one you did through Michigan, cuz that's my home town areas throughout the entire state!!! Another awesome roadside attractions!!! Someone ought to turn that Longaberger Basket into a hotel for sure, cuz everyon passing thru would stay there!!! I would love to. Attaboy, Justin!!!

Justin, if you want to see some lovely waterfalls, we have a fair number out here in Utah in the Wasatch! Just come in late Spring. Summer is a touch too hot and crowded, and the water dries up too fast these days.

These baskets were very expensive. I have a few of them. I didnt know they went bankrupt.
