i was a stereotypical car enthusiast, always influenced by fast and furious or need for speed. Until I came across dino and larry, its interesting how the car industry functions and it always has room for the most insane cars or any vehicles to exist! that I would have no concept of at all. Now I feel like a more well rounded car guy cause of how deep dino makes these videos. Thanks dino and lary!
The saddest day of my life was selling my 8V Integrale (one of the original 50 UK cars, bought from HR Owen) when I was down on my luck after whistleblowing in the City of London…..Even though this car is a million miles beyond what my 185bhp was, it brings back memories of the late 1980s. Thanks for a great video.
This is more a labor of love, than a task to achieve financial gains. I have so much respect for the passion required to finish a project like this. What a wonderful world we would have if everything were made with such love.
Grazie e complimenti. P.s. L’esclamazio “tanta roba” é stata proprio tanta roba🔝
Man the shots in the alps are so gorgeous! The huge stone walls and the deep cliffs look so surreal while driving at such an insane speed! Really cool Rally vibes.
I paid for a ride in a Lancia S4 Rally car a few years back literally peed myself as it was like 550bhp in a car that weighed nothing and the guy who was the driver was doing 105mph through tight corners and on the straights hitting like 140mph with trees going by us , so scary but thankfully the guy driving was a rally driver of over 30 years experience , He used to drive in the old RAC rally here in the UK and the MANX rally which Ari Vatanen was in way back , the thing i remember was the smell of petrol in the cabin those 1980s Rally cars had no safety compared to modern cars.
I live on the West Coast of the USA and live around a lot of multigenerational builders of Kustoms, Bombitas and Lowriders. I've seen so many projects that started out as a sedan and converted to a coupé, the conversion on display here is super top notch, extremely clean (it also probably helps that the Lancia is a box).
This is such an incredible showcase and interview. Letting this guy just talk with minimal prompts or interruptions really paid off. Great feature length content, thank you
No words ... Just feelings and emotions inside that car..imho only some car's in all the history are able to punch your heart and uour soul while driving.. and let me say.. lancia delta integrale its absolutely one of them. greatings from Bologna - Italia
Dino you nailed it again with another amazing vid 👍 and what a dream to be able to do that as a job and those Lancia's mind blowing both cars look incredible the paint , styling , engineering and final product is Top Tier perfection everything is so well balanced and they both sound amazing nothing compares to that Lancia sound but the green one there's nothing like that sequential Rally Transmission whine i could listen to that and the car for hours what an experience and nice job and as always keep up the great work 👍
There are a couple of million subscribers out there missing out BIG time!! Dino is such a relaxing presenter with astonishing knowlegde, and great content no matter where he is. Great stuff and hi from NZ.
I Love Hf's and I thought I would hate this but the guy has it dialled in and has made some amazing creations, his passion for the machines just shines through and he comes across as a great guy. Just earned a sub...for what its worth ;-)
that Safarista is so cool.. as a rally fan, I appreciate how they build it like a proper rally car. would be so cool to see it on it's true element, on ice or gravel
i love this trip!! you guys are rocking my world!! thank you very very MUCH!! in my 20s I had a lot of cool car and lost the passion cause of social pressure But now Because of you, the marxist left me and I m gonna made several millions to spend it on art on wheels !!!
i told you bro, nobody is going to these, the best shops in the world. Eugenio is a serious automotive brand. he also has a collection of his cars in this incredible garage. its got a office are next to an F40. a lounge area next to his stainless/green bentle mulliner orone of the cool widebody coupes. the ultimate in his collection is the one nobody photographs and it kills me. he has a blue 993 Ruf turbo r its so stunning not to mention the best sports car builder in history Alois Ruf. its a outstanding set of cars and these now different deltas what a car guy GOD!!! outstanding. cheers
The legendary Lancia Delta Integrale is the most beautiful retro shape car ever made. This shape does not age at all much like the Ferrari GT250. The only other car was the Group A BMW E30M3 which had that amazing S14 engine.
Been loving the Italian series Dino - awesome work and these Lancias on roads near Torino are spectacular! Wonder if any of the Futuristas/Safaristas were sold to Japanese owners? One of these cars on the touges would be amazing too.
My dad had a hf such a rot box like all the leafs Ive seen the price tag on some second hand 😢😢 but ive been watching these from the start /day 1 with the carbon shell Glad the unicor is back i wish group b would come back
in have one car like this but all original and other delta´s from the first to the last delta model or early 80´s till 93, but therev are good rally cars as good as from other brands the Ford Escort RS cosworth is a good example, from the same year, and i stoped my rally racing career in 1985 in Portugal ,i used to drive a at the time the most recent RS2000 not 4x4 racing car not a road car converted, but anyway nice cars you showed, it´s subscribed
I remember as a small boy watching a hill climb competition on a picturesque Italian mountainside. There were many cars that day, one custom build or supercar after another, accelerating up the first stretch. But there was one car that stood out. Compared to the rest it was very mundane looking, even a bit tatty. There was no loud engine growl as it lined up at the start. Quietly waiting for the go. The light went green, I blinked, and it was gone, already halfway up the mountain. I later learned it was a Lancia delta.
I have a rather silly request. Which is the green SUV that was used as the photography car? Im thinking of painting my SUV in a shade of green and that looked great. Thanks for the video. I always enjoy your content.
I can't remember when was the last time I listened two guys talk for 40 minutes and not being bored? Wondering how they grad that spare wheel on the Safari?
15:31 When you know you have to be friends with someone. That guy is great. I don't understand how someone with an allocation turned down a car like this because of an $50k increase.
The Safarista is 600k, which is what the video was predominately about. What you are referring to is the Futurista, which are all sold out. Appreciate the attempt at a correction… 😉 😂
@@dino_dc Aaah really? My apologies for jumping the gun then. I had just read about his cars a few months ago and wasn't aware that the Safarista had gone up in price by so much, demand must be crazy I guess among the collectors/fans. Isn't the Futurista a resto mode of the old Delta and you just need to bring him a second hand Delta for him to make the Futurista? So how could the Futurista be sold out?
yes i still own mine 1990 8v faults and all 🥰, just fitted TD05 twin scroll mitsu evo , turbo last two years , brakes next 4pots and big rears . for the 16v engine aa could have remapped for 550bhp as many home brew builds produce 400+ without excessive boost . while maintaining the original body shape and engine parts overall . i dont mind the updates aa have done, closer to a works gpa car , and modern sus, but i prefer my own custom Ti headlights and Trim iv developed and turbo package 285hp 🙏 aka a road car but with the screamer option , also develop an inverted damper setup aswell and for the budget , works well with 159mm travel all four corners and full ride height +5mm . Its easy to ruin a car . everything iv done is reversible exchangeable to taste. think the aa cars will now live forever , like the gpa runners mostly have. 🕊️
