This is how to get a shiny Hydrapple in The Indigo Disk In Pokemon Scarlet & Vioiet. You need to give applin a syrupy apple first. Then evolve dipplin into Hydrapple with this method

Got a shiny hydrapple the day the dlc came out, my dipplin was already level 100 so I was upset I couldn’t evolve it, but then I looked up if I could somehow still get a level 100 Pokémon to evolve, and thankfully I learned that from gen 8 onwards using a rare candy on a level 100 Pokémon allows it to evolve.
@@harrybaldino8955 did you teach it dragon cheer? Dipplin needs to know that move to evolve into hydrapple, and are you using a rare candy because I believe it has to be one of those specifically, I don’t think any of the other xp candies work.
Got mine yesterday when I finally beat Drayton. My shiny dlc team is now fully complete and they’re super cool. I love Hydrapple, definitely beats out Flapple and Appletun for me, though I still love those guys
I got one super quickly. Went back to Kitakami to get a new Applin, ran across a shiny one. Wasn't even trying to get one. Now I have a shiny Hydrapple named Dolly :)

I just got DLC, but the first tera raid that I did for Dipplin was shiny. So I got stupid lucky. Went straight off to fight Drayton, I love my Hydrapple.
proud to say im one of the guys that got shiny hydraple in the first few hours of the release because i egg farmed in sword/shield and ended up with a max iv shiny thanks to the masuda method (forgot i had a dif reg ditto lol)
I think Hydrapple is the first Pokemon that evolves by knowing a certain move it can only get through a TM, I can only think of ancient power for Yanma and Piloswine and dragon pulse for Poipole. There are a few more, but they still learn them by level up or remembering them.
I remember thinking this same thing when I got shiny dipplin months ago. I heard about the eviolite and I was like damn I got a shiny that doesn't even exist in the game yet. Evo'd as early as possible and boom
The way I play. I had a whole box full of shinys before I finished the base game. Only 7 of them were translated. The others were full odds with rarely any luck from sandwiches. Pretty much 1 or 2 star. Been good.
So Applin has a 3 prong branched evolution with Diplin having another evolution? Super cool and I guess that makes up for the lack of Appletun/Flapple GMAX

I had mine ready to go as well, and immediately went off to battle Drayton first, anyways, when the DLC first came out, the only difference is that I bred to get my shiny Applin, instead of what you did here. And it wasn’t even that hard for me to get it, since I bred one by chance and only took up one box in my PC to do it. So yeah, I guess that just means I did it my own way and still got the reward in a more personal way 😅

@@Rebublic_of_austria youtubers don't get early access what are you waffling about? they got a sneak peek for an hour to build hype around it, other than that they had to wait for the update like everyone else. in short everyone was on the same playing field in terms of the shiny Hydrapple "race" and there's absolutely hundreds who got it before Philly did
@@Rebublic_of_austria idk if you noticed but I specifically mentioned that 💀 That's whats called a sneak peek, meaning you get a short view of the product, usually for an hour or 2 at most. Early access is getting the product before the masses, an example of this is JaidenAnimations getting the Gen 5 sitting cuties plushes before release. pokemon gave these content creators a sneak peek of the DLC on a custom switch. no-one got the DLC on their own switches until the 14th, meaning they were racing against hundreds of others who would've likely gotten there much faster. so, again, no they were not "the first" to get the shiny.
Everybody says Dipplin was the first Pokemon to have a shiny move, but it isn't Dragapult is In pokemon sword and shield, if you use its signature move, it shoots shiny Dreepy So I would say, that's the first shiny move.
I already had a shiny Dipplin that I got from breeding. I specifically bred it to have really good IVs. It has best in everything except for hp, which I used a bottle cap to fix. I honestly don't like random wild shinies because their IVs are mostly garbage. I prefer seeing "Best" then "Hyper Trained" on my pokemon's stats.
thank goodness i was still able to evolve my shiny dipplin with a rare candy, or my precious caramel apple would have never been able to evolve! after all i afk farmed that tree before buying the dlc so i could get myself a tasty looking caramel apple i mean..a caramel dragon apple that's not edible
I managed to get a wonder trade shiny dipplin so I did when I found out how to evolve it I got him immediately. My baby, my lil golden Dragon. He helps me crit catch

You were not even close to being the first in the world xD I had 8 shiny applins and got mine on first day of release, yet people in AUS or JP get it before the entire UK or us unless using aus store
actually you are not the first one to get one, because everyone has already shiny dipplin which everybody has it before the dlc2 ever arrive, so i don't believe it the you are the one has it first.
Got shiny flygon the instant i started the dlc walked into my first wild area and wanted a trapinch lucky for me first pokemon of the dlc was a shiny trapinch
My friend actually downloaded the dlc the second it came out and it took him a little under 20 minutes to get its evolution and the second one after that
