Two things: 1. Engineer hinge that makes that door swing out past the wide body kit. You guys made that amazing transforming truck which took engineering on the hinge side of things but you can certainly do that with this as well. Those suicide doors should stay they're iconic. 2. The encouragement to build something that is your vision is spot on. You guys are so beyond blessed to be able to work as a father and son team. I would love to meet you one day. The suicide doors was what made that Lincoln so special ! Do your do but try not to get rid of the suicide doors !!!

I think if you're gonna make it 2 door you need to make the front door longer. Otherwise keep it 4 door. The small doors look ridiculous.

I love the 62 Lincoln. I was born in 1962. I love the suicide doors. They make the car what it is. What is really important…. What dwarfs EVERYTHING… ain’t the car. You already know that. The true masterpiece is father and son doing it together. You can put a value on the car but what you are doing together is priceless. Anyone who would argue that may know cars, but they’re missing the point.

Look I'm a old guy and i love anything you and your dad are collaborating together with the new school, and old school ideas. If your do a 2 door conversion I think you should extend the door. You’re already going to cover the c pillar so move the latch back with an extra bar on the roll cage. Use the rear door and get the angles right and you have a perfect patch with the right body lines.

I was about 8 to 10 years old when I helped the neighbor going up the street build a paper mache Dash for his 70 Nova drag car. Its a great way to figure out the design and build a mold for fibreglass/ carbon fiber

I love the idea! These have always been my favorite big body car. IF you do go two door, then you should combine the doors and keep it rear hinged, MUST BE REAR HINGED

They made a lot of 2 door Lincolns in the 60s (albeit not convertibles). I'd have to keep the doors, it's what makes this car iconic. Looking forward to the project.

Overall I dig it much more than I would have thought. The front and the front fenders with these exhausts work really well and I think your dad is right on the money for the rear fender cutouts. Imho it would work even better with a shorter buildup to the rear fender, more or less where the kink in the door is. Also the rear would look much more badass with a giant diffusor the same size as the rear bumper and a huge wing like on the Holyhall Capri. And, as others said, a removeable hard top for the convertible would be my way to go and if you make it 2 door, extend the front doors for better proportions. Awesome project! 👍

The movie " The Car" was a Lincoln continental mk 3 black coupé 2 door cut down roof And altered the fenders making them higher And longer Amazing looking,,,,,,,,,

If you use a screen door tool on the cardboard it will allow you to bend the cardboard and make crease points without having to cut. For future projects...

Love your Idea . Here are a few tricks #1 / Lengthen the side doors going from a 4 to a 2 . #2 / Scrap the front bumper and give it the lower faring treatment and take the center line from the grill and use it as a divider line in the side wide body line then place the air scoops and dams . # 3 Take tips from the 68 - 70 Dodge charger in visuals in side treatments . #4 Just a brain fart BUT LOOK at that old movie " THE CAR " from that old 70s movie .

Crazy idea...but if you wanna make it 2 door while also having a hardtop...maybe have it as a gullwing style. That way it's still 2 door but also have the rear seats accessible...seeing what you did with the fenders on the Ford.. you can do it.

Try to section the widebody panel on the rear quarter behind the rear door in a concave fashion, almost like a big vent for the rear tires to allow the rear doors to open without hitting the widebody panel. Just a thought...

Love watching you two work together, while watching your video I noticed the chrome strip along the body line, think that would be a good place to cut and extend out much as you like. It would keep the side profile view very much the same but front and rear view would show the width. Could finish the bottom however you’d like too?

I still think drop too is the way to go. Wide body top down would be so sick! Also keeping it 4 door. But making it look 2 door and keeping the 4 door as a hidden gem would blow peoples minds

I would two tone the car, flares darker than the body color. like a dark beige on the flares and a liter color beige on the body. Hood and Trunk, Satin Black. Definitely Suicide Doors! Four round stock size LED HALO Headlights and a supercharged 428 ci with twin turbo chargers. I'm sure whatever you do to it, it will be "Gloriuos" !

They did actually make these Lincolns in a 2 door. The shape of them is honestly much better looking to me than the suicide door.

Keep the convertible, put a spoiler on the trunk lid. Radius the door seems on the kit so that all the doors work.

I do know about the news paper and flour water volcano's. you guys have me fired up, i hit a deer last week and it took the whole front off my ride. Im going to fix it up with some cardboard and tape and have her back on the road in no time. Who needs pull a part.....😊😊😊

Definitely get a hardtop! I’ve always been obsessed with the Lincoln I think it’s amazing someone is doing something different than all black with white wall tires. I say go crazy and do you! You guys are known for very exotic and wild builds so keep them coming!

Brad, i believe that keeping it as a 4 door with suicide doors will be best, show off your design capabilities. I think going two doors is the easy way out. You can keep the same look as a two door with 4 doors with flush or invisible handles

I love it. I always loved the slammed gangster style lincoln but it's been done so many times. It's nice to see someone going a new direction with it. And after seeing what you did with the c10 I know this thing will blow us away
