this performance was dedicated to their former teammate, who died from brain cancer. this was the song he used to perform with when doing the individual competitions. usually group gymnastics have teammates cheering them, clapping before/after each big feat, but for this they remained quiet for their said teammate. so moving and so beautiful!
all the more reason to cry then .. this was already emotional enough .. now that is a tribute to a deceased teammate .. I can't possibly hold my tears.
The sync was so accurate and perfect that the dancers look like they were computer cloned and animated. It is amazing how smooth and fluid the flips were. WOW.
Neel 2000 Bro, think BEFORE you talk man. This dance is performed in dedication to a fellow teammate that has pass away from brain cancer. Have some sense okay? Because this is not useless.
Country: Japan University: Aomori university music: Blue fromD.F.O recorded: 2009.12 some people in this group joined cirpue du soleil. hello, i'm japanese. i'm not good at speaking english.sorry.. this competition is called men's rythmic gymnastics. Have you heard of this competiton? most people answer "No" Because, this is Japan's OWN sports!! competition population is about two thousand people... But!! i want to spread to the world men's rythmic gymnastics! So, people who saw, please spread by SNS thank you.
And I am beyond the verge. When I had first seen this, years ago, I considered it the quintessence of art in it's purest and most holy form. This is the level of chef-d'oeuvre that you want to salute and bow at the same time.
Alexandra Iffi Dude you've only seen like 30% of the whole asian population. The last 70% or either fat while eating chips while playing League of Legends or they spend a crap ton of money on makeup and jewellery. I'm not the 30%.
gblan floor routine is part of the artistic gymnastics sport. they perform solos though. and synchronized swimming is not foolish. i can't even fathom how you think that way.
Agel Malassab I meant foolish as in silly. Are the competitors dedicated? Sure. Are they peak condition athletes? Absolutely. Is the actual event they compete in silly? Of course it is. I mean where do you draw the line? Just because you can make a particular thing "synchronized" doesn't mean it's automatically not ridiculous.
This was so fluid, so on time, *so* synchronized it was as visually pleasing as watching an *animated, orchestrated* sequence. I am ASTOUNDED. Never seen this level of perfection. Must have taken no small amount of talent and superb dedication.
truly the most beautiful thing i've seen in ages. Obviously some kind of category of group gymnastics we don't have - hope we get it over here soon! Should be at the Olympics! :-)
2:51 Are you freakin' kidding me?! This is amazing, though I can't help but find it a bit jarring how they belly flopped on the floors then bounced back up like they're fine. I know there's probably springs under there, but...
K丹N巨K工シ kaneki ツ You mean Blizzard an American company made with American and European developers? You need to get an education and stop watching anime, weeb.
Omg, their moves reminds me of Japanese drama called Tumbling. Almost the same, maybe the drama took a lil bit from here or vice versa. EITHER way, it's WONDERFUL!
Asians are good because they train so so so hard. So stop saying they're always good because that's only insulting them for not training hard and just being a talent.
I agree. One thing you guys have to keep in mind that there are kids in Asia that go to dance schools since they were really really young. I'm talking about 4 years old +.
It is not that I dislike it (and I did not dislike it), but it is like watching robots. Perfection in synchronization, which is amazing. But there is no heart there, just an obsession for perfect timing. So to me, it was amazing but boring at the same time.
Wow! Amazing! To appreciate it even more, I suggesting finding and watching the Japanese show called "Tumbling" I thought this was amazing before, but after watching the show and seeing what people have to go through to get that good... I am double amazed! Shintaiso (rythmic gymnastics) is amazing.
Love this performance so much! (plus, I have a feeling that the majority of the dislikers were like "Oh, this isn't have any hip hop or breakdancing, so it's totally weird to watch." Um, hello? Maybe they just haven't realized that there's more than one form of dance on planet earth...)
reddragonready Gymnastics can still be considered a form of dance. Dance isn't limited to things like ballet, jazz, etc. Check out Google's definition is you don't believe me. According to Google, dance is: (verb)- move rhythmically to music, typically following a set sequence of steps. (noun)- a series of movements that match the speed and rhythm of a piece of music.
Senna Taylor "sports such as gymnastics, figure skating and synchronized swimming are generally thought to incorporate dance." Go ahead, use "Google" to convince me synchronized swimming and figure skating are called dancing really. If you are confused still..the operative word is "incorporate".
reddragonready I never specifically said they were dances. I said they *could be considered* form of dance. I'm a figure skater and ice dancer myself, having skated competitively for over eleven years now, and I don't consider figure skating to be a dance either, though I would agree that it does *incorporate* dance. (I'm also a dancer, having done ballet for thirteen years). Perhaps I should've been clearer with my wording for you? I never thought my comment could be taken so literally...
The title of this video " The Worlds Most Amazing Asian Synchronized Dancers " should be changed to " The Worlds Most Amazing Japanese Synchronized Dancers ".
How about just the world's most amazing synchronised dancers.... these wonderful dancers are amazing, no matter where they come from. Beauty such as this transcends race, creed or national boundaries.
Creative, beautiful and constructive. Imagine if each of those performers represented a group of nations - we could have world peace and harmony. Pity that some cultures reject dance as an idol...
This is simply beautiful and touching. There seems to be a number of critics here, but they all miss the point - the teamwork, the collaboration and athleticism is beyond words. Plus the evocative music. Quite the perfect display of artistry and agility, yet in perfect harmony. Lets just be grateful that we have the opportunity to view this in perpetuity because of You Tube.
I was depressed then saw this, the music make me cry and the dance was amazing. Thanks to this I was relieved. Not only your talent's spectacular it makes people feel good. Thanks hope this won't be the end.
I always say id want to date/ marry an asian man whos musically talented or really good at dancing. They are the feelers. You could see the passion in there dancing.
