You make Steven Spielberg look like an illiterate Anteater with an iq in the negatives. Everything in this awe-inspiring masterpiece was perfect, as it was true to its roots and yet this work has created a universe of its own that far surpasses the original. The symbolism was deep and thought provoking- The fire obviously being a metaphor for the chaos of modern day life, the paper bag a symbol of man ultimately unable to find himself, and it was evident that staplers themselves were embodiments of nuclear warfare. "The Workplace" is at once Post-post-post Modern and yet, in the same vein, decidedly Romantic in origin. At first the cut at 2:15 to Peter would seem like a simple explanation of the work, however this was the most meta 52 seconds in existence, as Peter is not simply commenting on his group's art, but is instead describing the world as it appears to man, for what else could life be described but as a "...High-school film fest entry..." (Tran 2:21)? In conclusion, I give this heavenly gift from above a perfect 5/7 and I would like to suggest a religion is made out of this immediately.
