@@5POAFigureReviews you did well. Honestly there have been so many videos over the years that I’ve had to stop watching because of the way they frame their narrative has bothered me. It’s one thing to make a statement such as “what I look for in the figures I collect is a mix of representation, engineering, quality, etc.” and it’s a whole other thing to be like “this figure is garbage that should’ve never been made, boycott the company for having even made it”.

They do it for clicks. Hyperbole gets views on the RU-vids.

lol very true, but my thought it that putting a video out there would be helpful for raising awareness that the Select exists for collectors who never heard of it. It was a store exclusive, so isn't as widely as widely known as the 90s one.

Yeah some of those are really rough, especially Jean and Mystique. I've been fighting the temptation to hop on the "get Cyclops and remove the paint" bandwagon, but I expect we'll get him soon enough without it. They didn't pay for that new tooling for nothing after all.

@@5POAFigureReviews the super7 bebop and rocksteady are pretty good the bst axn loyal subjects bebop and rocksteady are terrible lol. Super7 ones are just expensive haha

I said the same thing about his hands in my review of him, but it never even occurred to the awesome potential for G.I. Joe weapons. Great idea!

Thanks Brian! Glad you enjoyed it. That's a great question, and I don't know that there is an easy answer. I am sure that there are those who just treat it like a job. And we also don't know a lot of what goes on behind the scenes, as far as what the toy makers want versus what the finance department expects, or even the licencers for that matter. But I do agree that a lot of these are bafflingly simple fixes.

I would love to but unfortunately I don't collect enough Turtles to make an informed list. I did get the two Street Fighter sets and the Universal Monsters, though. I'd like to explore more with Turtles this year.

@@5POAFigureReviews Jungle Hunter Predator is the only figure I've bought another company's figure right after and gave away the first one. I bought a Hiya Toys AVP Celtic predator and it's my favorite figure of the year from any company.
