I had to dump $5K into my E92 right after buying it. The maintenance issues were out of control. The issues were so bad, my mechanic did free work for a year because he couldn’t resolved oil leak issues. Before the car stopped working, I traded it for an Audi.
I purchased a shirt on December 7th it is now the 22nd I haven't received any shipping information I haven't received the shirt I would like to have my money back your customer service sucks I've called you countless times I've messaged you countless times with no response and I hope nobody supports your channel
He said a cheap E 60 m5 dumb ass every body knows that having a cheap bmw is just a a bad idea in the intro he literally said that cars that are ugly unreliable Wich he is right if you just spend a little more money on a more expensive one then yeah it's great
Funny enough, the E60 M5 and the E63 M6 are two of the closest things to an Italian car BMW ever built: they're beautiful, expensive, stylish, luxurious, fast, have a big high revving engine, and are horribly unreliable. You'd really have to love the car to keep it.
Cool story: back home in Guam my homie bought his e60 M5 from a junkyard for only $1,000 engine and manual transmission was still in tact the battery caught fire and that’s how it ended up in the junkyard. Took him 6 months to redo all the wiring and right when he got his license he had the nicest car in the high school parking lot 😭 he still has it and it currently has 289,000 miles serviced the rod bearings and vanos only once in the 4 years he’s owned it talk about a steal and I still really want one 😹
I’m a sucker for car that are on people’s ‘don’t buy’ lists. I love Range Rovers. But I’m not quite rich enough or stupid enough to buy one. As for Audi’s ... many of their repairs are Engine “out-ies”! And that can become expensive, quite fast. Thanks for the video.
If i were you, i'd save up for a mercedes E-Class, C-Class or S-Class. I'd recommend the E-Class, mostly the 2004 E270 cdi one, it is just beautiful, it has a lot of luxury etc. It's just an amazing car! And they're kinda cheap (not always, because they're considered as a top tier luxury car). Good luck!
100% would get a first gen TT... as a second vehicle. And might consider the Discovery, and immediately swap the $1100 coilover kit... might even make money selling the used air ride on eBay lol
I have a lot of friends who own and enjoy their M5s, especially on the track. Repairs seem frequent on them, but replacement engines seem readily available so the issue seems to be ownership cost and not inability to get it back on the road or track. But if you can $10,000 a month, they seem like a decent choice
I'm backkk, and listen used german performance cars might look appealing with such a low price, but their maintenance will be a nightmare(if they weren't taken care of by previous owners). Anyway, Great Vid Ideal Media :)
10:55 the BAM 1.8T was reliable from the TT, and also EXTREMELY overengineered. That motor without any upgrade, could easily put down 400bhp, you'd obviously need a bigger turbo and more injector power but it was able to do it. Also the stroker kit for them is also amazing if you find a good kit.
I was gonna give you a like until you said the engine in the SL600 wasn't any good. Only bad thing about that engine is the cost to replace coil packs other than that the engine so bulletproof Mercedes used it from 2003-2020
If someone wants to go off road they should buy a ex-military Humvee just for that purpose and have a car that gets decent gas mileage for a daily driver.
Audi TT has a bad engine?!?!?? Here in europe everybody swaps those engines into everything that has wheels because of their reliability and toughness. Those 1.8 20vt engines run forever and are straight up awesome.
I had a 2002 mercedes clé convertible with a v8 of course. Spent 30-40 dollars on gas twice s week and as a high school student, definently not worth it
When my late brother was in his late teens he brought home a 1984 BMW 318 ...lol... My dad asked him why he bought it, especially since no one knew how to repair it locally, and if he knows what BMW stands for?.... my dad said when it breaks down it'll stand for "BLACK MAN WALKING"
buy it bruh, they run forever and very reliable if you don’t care about the gas mileage. i got the s55 and sl600 both has over 150k miles. year 2000-2006 are the best models they have
Brad danger. Please can you talk about Porsches Efuel. Its a synthetic fuel that is co2 neutral. It is made from fusing hydrogen from the water and co2 from the air to make hydrocarbons. Its completely sustainable.
Well I meant most of the good ones are hanging around 20 grand. If you have that sort of money, maybe you won't be living with your mom at all. No offense.
@@IdealMediaChannel look because i own a citroen saxo vts and a peugeot 106 rallye. I would recommend them as well as maybe a ranault clio rs 197 what do you think ?
So unbelievable why German & European Car manufacturers after so many decades of car manufacturing still can't produce something as reliable as a TOYOTA or a LEXUS for the World market ... 🕯🌷🕊
Poor TT. Such a cute little pretty car. I don't think the models after the first year had any safety issues, but they are a bit of a pain to do maintenance on. Comes with the cheap price, I suppose.
Im really sorry to tell you that your Research on the SL600 isnt quite correct. The Engine you are Talking about is the M120 (~400HP) and was used in the R129. The car you are showing in the Video is the R230 and that SL600 uses an M275 Engine with (~510HP) and with turbos. The differences in reliability are pretty huge between those different generations of engines AND cars.
I LOVE the mercedes-benz SL600! It's just soo beautiful, luxurious! But damn is it expensive, i want to save up and buy one when i get older (i'm 11 years old btw).. i have a toy one and it was 100€ but i love it, it's remote controlled too. You can controll the sound, lights, doors, roof, etc.
I'd have to disagree with e90 m3. although what you said was facts, not much issues other than rod bearings, throttle actuators and idle control valve. If you maintain it right, its not going to break ur wallet too much.
Hey brad do you know what car everyone would be happy with if you got one? Do you? Do you? A Ferrari F355 spider They are one of the cheaper ferraris for sale but if you want a newer one get the 369

I agree with all cars except the TT Audi. They may not be reliable with an American engine but with a European engine that is much more reliable than an American one. My dad has a 2002 Audi S3 with the same engine as TT and it has broken down only once in those years. That's because he's racing with him.
in don't know what to say about tesla i have the model S with 300.000 km and still no problems (when i buy that it was new and btw it cost a lot more then 70k $)
If you ever want a hummer, don't get the H2!!!! Get the original badass H1 at least. The H2 makes you look like the BIGGEST tool. The H1... not as much tbh
