Today we will be going through the history of bodybuilding with the aim of seeking out the worst condition of any bodybuilders. www.ambal.ru/ npcnewsonline.com/
In defense of Mike, many of the WBF athletes including Mike utilized the nutrition program of Dr Mario Dipasquale whom the WBF hired to help the competitors. It worked somewhat with some of the athletes, but failed miserably with others such as Mike.
@@greeninja2728 the first show they did , nobody was tested . Then Vince got involved in that huge steroid scandel and all his wrestlers had to come off the juice . And he had to implement the same policy to the WBF
Nah, potential isn't about just physical genetics, but mindset too. Flex Wheeler, as lazy as he was, still could diet down to get shredded. Lionel...not so much. Honestly, it's time we stop putting guys with bad work ethic and good genetics on a pedestral. The same is happening to Andrew Jacked and even Samson Dauda on a much higher level. Hadi has great genetics and is shredded. Rhoden had great genetics and won Mr.O when he was shredded. Same for Shawn Ray, Wheeler, Levrone. What about the top 3 of all time? Dorian, Heath, Coleman. All great genetics with hard work. Good luck being a lazy bum and outgenetic any of these guys, it's just not going to happen. At some point the term "potential" turns into a "lazy bum who never did much with his god-given genetics". Harsh, but true. The King didn't sit on his ass all day long and magically come into -3% bodyfat conditioning (lol). Potential means nothing in bodybuilding, results do.
@@gameurai5701 genetic potential is everything in bodybuilding. You think Lionel just gets lazy??? Hahahaha You gave me a good laugh this afternoon :) Also, Samson and Andrew both have LOTS of work to do. With minimal time at hand….
I love your videos, Mate, and I love the way you compare the bodybuilders against each other, very professional and fascinating, especially when you do Arnold's style😂
As soon as I saw this video yesterday on your channel, The very first thing that came to mind was Mike Quinn. Well there are lots of examples of amateur bodybuilders looking far worse on stage, that might be the absolute worst professional bodybuilder in a competition (and not guest posing) I've ever seen!
I remember watching Lionel back in the day. Thinking this must be Kai greene’s twin brother except better in every single way. I don’t know why he was so underrated. This guy had all the potential in the world to be the best of the best
Lou ferrigno was one of my favorite bodybuilders, but I always felt that he had slightly undersized arms for his size. He had the chest, back, and super traps but not the arms for his size. His legs could have been slightly bigger too. In my opinion. 😮
Loved the video max. Here is a video idea. Do a best and worst showing for some bodybuilders. For example, Jay cutlers best night and worst and see how different it looks.
It's a shame that it didn't work out for Lionel. He had so damn good genetics! Probably even better genetics than Keone Pearson (another one who has had terrible conditioning at the Olympia, in 2021 I believe).
Already did in 1997. Overrated as fuck. No glutes, no hamstrings, weak back and the only reason he looked wide was cause of synthol. This is coming from a Serbian too.
I remember seeing Mike Matarazzo do a show years ago that was in FLEX magazine where he looked way more soft and fluffy than these guys. I tried to find it but I'm not quite the researcher Marx Max Muscle is.
Lionel almost always looks a soggy mess on stage. He's had maybe 2-3 shows in 15 years where he actually looked decently sharp. Whoever is involved in his prep (maybe just himself) is clueless in the extreme.
Conditioned sounds strange as a criteria. These guys aren't conditioned to run a couple miles. Conditioning ? Lots of disparity vs reality with this competition. Form seems like a better term to describe it.
Lionel said the last 2 shows he did he was off gear (prolly only prescribed trt) cause of the drug case he was involved so there was no chance of him taking anything while that was going on, and he competed just because he loved to compete
Actually, you're wrong about what you said that nobody ends their career in peak condition. In the 80s and early 90s, some bodybuilders retired in their primes. Lee Labrada's lash show was an AC 5th place where he was in great condition, which is not shabby at all and Lee Haney's last show was when he won his 8th Olympia, big, full, round and shredded.
That last pic of Lionel looks more like Kai Green. If thats really Lionel, he is Kai's twin. As to Mike Q, he came in like that to make a statement. It was his way of sticking the middle finger up at Vince M. He looked horrible for sure and he knew it.
