I expect this mower will last several seasons with decent care. ru-vid.comUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend Also, I ran across the problem with it not starting the 2nd time I used it. There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.
Sound wise great 👍🏻 does sound like an any other residential zero turn and if I had to choose my ex mark mower. It passed the dirt monkey 🐵 test. Now what will wear out wear tests as the hours build on it. Or a warranty issue those kinds of issues
If I was just getting into lawncare. From buying Dewalt tools 🔧 I would be buying it. From were I'm at now 10 years later. .. nope not for me.. its a cube cadet. I think. Not bad but name don't do it. for me. I'm interested to see what becomes of them.
That’s a great way to test the dewalt zero turn and I was quite sunrise to say it was wet and thick and it sounded like it didn’t bog down at all and can’t wait to see the next one. Excellent work and thanks for sharing this with us take care Edited hope everyone has a nice week
you do realize i can take my troybilt pony with its14.5 hp BRIGGS mower and have ZERO issues mowing weeds taller than the mower ... Right ??? Wouldn't be any question if my mower would be able to handle it. my answer on my lil mower would be hell yes it could handle it.
@@Dirtmonkey it's just a maintained 42 inch cut riding mower. any decent riding mower will do the same job as you recorded in that video. and mine only cost 100 USD used along with replacing the deck belt and blades. it didn't cost me several grand like that dewalt.
I know you love testing new machines and Gravely just released there new 600 series mowers. If you were in Ohio I'd love to show you one and drive it around. Top speed of 15 mph and a 38 hp Kawasaki engine.
@@chainsaw_nightrider you would be correct, but you don't really need it with the suspension seat. I mow rough ground and as long as the seat is set for me, no issues.
The Dewalt commercial mowers seem to be built pretty well but yeah, I am interested in the questions regarding service and parts . Thank you for doing the legwork, Stan!
@@Dirtmonkey I remember you said with the Ego. " Should I test run time or mow nasty stuff"? Let's see the DeWalt mow some nasty stuff. Go back to that wooded area in your yard.
@@Dirtmonkey Yeah as far as I know DeWalt doesn't make any other internal combustion equipment, why would they start now? I like being able to mow with my EGO zero turn because my German Shepherds can lolligag behind it without getting high on fumes. In the past I had to lock them up while mowing and they were butthurt afterwards.
The warranty is 100% WORTHLESS! It took Dewalt 82 DAYS to tell me where to take it for service, after dozens of email exchanged with their bots and calls answered by bots, and chats with bots. And it spent 7 weeks sitting in the "authorized repair center" that I fund on my own, over 30 miles away, waiting for a battery that was on backorder and they didn't know when IR IF they would ever get it. I picked it up and decided to fix it myself, but after I replaced the batter and it started fine, now the transmission is dead. It's not a belt problem though. I don't know if the service center damaged it, but I drove it off the trailer after boosting it when I took it to them. They put is back on the trailer with a forklift when I picked it up. The mower has only been used a few hours, it's virtually brand knew, but useless. I have to sue them to get a refund so I can buy a mower.
Thanks Stan, appreciate the guy next door approach to your videos. For me, some of it is simply entertaining but I did order a plastic scraper blade today from May Wes based upon your video made there. It is for a 60" plow I made for my Toro ZMaster over 20 years ago. It pushes massive amounts of snow. God bless and keep the videos coming. Go get em. Warren
The Dewalt so far sounds good! It did better then I thought it would do with the brush. Can't go wrong with the Dewalt Colors also. Reminds me of my Iowa Hawkeyes. If Home Depot carries this mower I see it blowing the Cub cadet zero turns they also carry out of the water. IMO Cub Cadet and John Deere are well respected Compaines in Lawncare but I like to see new Mowers come out that helps the Lawn Care Community grow and continues to make other companies step up there game.
Jesus Christ saves from sin. Romans 3: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Hebrews 9: 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Isaiah 64: 6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. Revelation 21: 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Romans 5: 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. John 3: 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 14: 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Romans 10: 9-10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Jesus said John 5: 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 1John 5: 10-13 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. Ephesians 2: 8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Romans 8: 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 2 Corinthians 5: 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. ......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
I’m confused why dewalt enters the gas ztr market. Who makes the mower for them? I’m assuming just marketing by someone (cub cadet?) ** quick google search apparently under same umbrella since 2020………
Hey Stan what zero turn mower is the best and most affordable bang for your buck in your opinion? I am in the market and asking around for peoples thoughts and input. TIA!
Boy- there are a lot of great brands. I think dealer support and service should be your first question. Make sure your comfortable with that and then pick a brand they carry.
I couldn't believe it when you said it was from Dewalt and then I seen the seat and was like o sh*t he wasn't playing. I'm not much of a Dewalt fan anymore. What's the price tag on it???
Hi Stanley - rough test for sure. I definitely wouldn’t put a new machine through something that rough. :). That’s probably why you have 590K subs, and I have under 4K on my channel. My motto is usually “take it slow. .” . Great job! Keep up the fun content.
A couple good questions would be who actually manufactures it and what are the ratings on it is it a homeowner use only or will they honor commercial use for warranty,,, and have you also seen that bobcat the skid steer company is also making stand on and zero turn mowers as well thanks for great show have a good night
With new engines be sure to let folks know check your oil. They might burn a bit till stuff gets seated. If you check it’s normal heck fire mow on. But I’d might do one oil and filter after a few mows just to be safe.
hey stan, i was wondering if you know the best place to get cheaper but still high end enclosed trailers for landscaping, anywhere in the country is fine with me. Thanks.
I bought a house a couple of years ago that didn’t have the grass mowed for five years and I had to mow it four times. I had a massive pile of dead grass, but I did get the house for 10 k so I’m good
Looks good so far ,I watched the discharge coming out spread nice no clumping see how it does on wet grass. .how much horsepower is that one ? I’ll be watching for part 2. .
Love your videos! Been watching for quite some time. When will you do a Bad Boy Mower review? I have a ZT Avenger 54" 725cc and love the build of it, the power, and the soft response. Check them out!
I normally love your videos and will always watch them cause you're legit, you've paid your do's and take your craft seriously. And Crack me up with comments. But this time you mowed some so-so grass, filmed it and sent it. It's missing something. Maybe put that mower to a real Dirt Monkey test and say how you really feel. If not it's a 15 minute commercial. Idk maybe I'm wrong.
I appreciate that! This was brushier stuff and since its still early in the season had not colored up yet. but I know what you mean. It was actually snowing on me in the next video.
Hey wanted to say how great the tips you offer in your videos. GREAT JOB! Also on a side note my husband wants to know where can you find the hat you wear in most of your videos?
Stan, would I be able to make a nice tall sand pile with my skid loader? I got sand vegetation and dirt. Using those 3 materials what's the trick to making the pile tall?
