No matter what Dewalt thinks about your review, it sure shows lots about the durability and how those machines are going to last the test of time. What an awesome mower
I expect this mower will last several seasons with decent care. ru-vid.comUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend Also, I ran across the problem with it not starting the 2nd time I used it. There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.
This is great! I had a thought though... Imagine some random person walking by and catching ol Stan back there trashin that mower and talking to himself. LOL!!!
You always entertain us. It is so obvious you love what you do. It was like you turned into a teenager again. You had me laughing so much with your dialogue and expressions. Thank you for the fun and adventure. This was exactly the best way to end my week. 😊🙏
I wish you made this video a few weeks ago. We pretty much did the same thing with our Scag. We cleared all of the underbrush of our pine woods in South Carolina. Our neighbors thought we were crazy for treating a new mower that way. You can bet I'll be sharing this video so they know we arent the only crazy ones.
Now that is what a equipment review should be..Looks like a durable well built product.I really enjoy all your videos, and the camera 📸 and audio quality is great!
Stan as a fellow business owner I hit your like button. I love giving my guys praises and appreciations for things they should do but don't necessarily have to
HAHAHA! My Dad was pretty hard on equipment and he taught me that if you can run over it you can mow it!!! This sure brought back some old memories, thanks!!! J.R.
Lol thanks but that’s not my real name. I hope to see you at a job site one day. I deliver erosion control products and grass seed so if you order from ramy so I might see ya.
Gosh dang that DeWalt is a beast! Makes me want one even more now! I havent watched watched the whole video yet but I wonder of it slightly under powered for the size it is. Keep up the great work & have a great weekend! Be safe!
These machines are made by cub cadet as slightly different variations of their cub professional machines. But impressive. Idk how the deck spindles will last
@@Dirtmonkey Hey man, I see you're now sticking stuff in your ears🙃. I thought you only like to wear over the ear ear protection? I like the over-the-ear ear protection but it doesn't let me wear a wide brim hat. Down here by the Gulf of Mexico if you don't wear a wide brim hat your toast by the afternoon. So how do you like those earbuds and do they provide noise cancellation or true ear protection? Did you leave a link in your description for them?
Your neighbors must think of you as some crazy guy in the woods talking to him self again, and he’s trying to mow down the jungle with a mower. Hahaha great videos
Stan The Woods Mowing Man 🤣 I Had To Watch Two Times ! It Was That Funny 😂 Please Do Not Change A Thing For Anyone Or Their Opinions 👍 Love The Not So New Wood Chipper , I Mean Mower 😉 Love Your Awesome Videos Stan ! GOD Bless And Definitely Keep Em Coming 😁👍
I have a 2005 Cub Cadet rzt50 and have mowed stuff exactly like that for years..still use it to mow 2 properties. I thought that was normal! That mower has been the toughest machine I've ever owned!
haha, I just did this with my 54" deck hustler fastrak. Had to look up videos to see if anyone else was as crazy as me. I just said fck it, I can either wait for my father to bring his tractor by which who knows when that will be or I can rent a tractor or wait until I buy one in a year. I just bought new blades, belt and tires for my zero turn so why not beat the crap out of the old parts before removing them! worst case I blow a motor or break the deck lol Cut up to 1inch thick trees, sliced through them. Cleared paths and decent areas behind house. Keep in mind it was the type of tree too. There are some that are harder and I skipped those. Most under 1/2". I just moved logs and such to make sire didn't break the mower. Did a good job too, so happy. Make sure run it deck up, and strap up or remove the chute. You may have to stop every so often and pull a branch out
Hey Stan, a little tip for the sawzall, try putting the blade on 180° from how you have it in the video. Way better leverage. I've been doing it that way for years, works way better.
Cut a lot of brush in Northern Wisconsin. Did a lot with a push mower but when I got an old mower that the city of Milwaukee used to cut the street medians, big and heavy and powered by a Wisconsin air-cooled. On slow speed I could just cut right through the hazel brush with out a problem and no problem pushing over 2" popel trees. Blade was 1/2" thick with hand size cutting tips riveted on.
Hell yeah 😁 it shows the durability of the machine and it will stand up to the test of time... An Dr field and brush mower supposed to be able to cut up to 4" material with the mulching kit
0:40 in and its Knarly.. Also your channel is excellent, the attention to detail & walkthoughs are superb. And kudo's to the introduction to the tune Challenge Accepted-Gvidon never would have known about it, and cant quit playing it.
This DeWalt mower torture is inspirational in a good way. Shows how the manufacturer (MTD?) makes a product that stands up to what anyone throws at it. The brush cutter for the Gravely QXT might do the trick for the next phase where you have the straight down portion. If you do any more there, let's see how you do with a Kubota tractor and a PTO brush mulcher.
On my old John Deere 185, the trick was to sneak the saplings into the chute side and use the blade to shear them off at the base. Don't wanna admit how many spindle bearings and deck belts I bought at the dealer... plus I was running the machine through 10ft tall grass, molehills, and ant hills.
@@Dirtmonkey had to in order to reclaim our over grown acreage, now there's just a couple spots left that need a forestry mulcher ran through them. 80% of the property is now fit for normal mowing which my Exmark LazerZ handles. Took about 5 years to go from nasty overgrowth to beautiful stripes.
Hi to the Dirt Monkey Forces and Family. Some people have skid steers to clear small trees and then there is Stanley clearing trees with his mower. Have a great day Stanley.
Awsome content bud. I alway hit that like button before I start the video because I know I’m gonna like it. I like to see you take one of those d r walk behind brush cutter that you always see advertised to that hill you were talking about. Awsome job keep up the hard work. P.s. how much did you pay for that mower?
I have an older Kubota ZD331 (32HP diesel) that I've done this with a few times. Fix a few bent items , sharpen the Blades , grease at all the fittings and go back at it . Tough as nails .....👍
By far this is the most dirt monkey video I ever seen like this is what u think when u think of dirt monkey 💯👍🏻 I really enjoyed the video and as always thanks for everything u do I really look forward to watching ur videos
Hey me and my old man did the same thing witb a Poland pro chain saw, a lawn boy push mower that was 10 years old and a brown market 2 wd tractor on 5 acres...
What did you use for blades? We use our Scags for mowing fields and orchards and our Christmas tree farm. Mostly high (3 feet +) weeds and some woody shrubs like sassafras, multi-flora rose, and invasive honeysuckle and bittersweet. We are looking for blades that cut more efficiently so we don't have to go over it twice. We have tractor-mounted brush mowers but the zero-turns are better in the tighter areas.
I do stuff like this on my toro time cutter mx 5000 almost on the daily. Pop out the woods n get right to my yard. I also put the X blades brackets on there from your buddy. Mower dont like it but I didn't ask it for its opinion 🤣🤣
11:03 12:00 DeWalt Rider Mower so crazy and powerful that it makes you crazy! 🤪 (Keep up the work 😎👍) (P.S. This mower looks so familiar to a Cub Cadet, this has the same Control panel as a cub cadet and other MTD Supplied Products)
Who needs a bushhog when you Dirt Monkey Dewalt on the team...now you just need some Titanium/Carbide lawn mower blades to really thrash that environment ;)
That was insane, do you think the warranty would cover damages for mowing trees? I’m impressed nothing broke. I screwed up a couple weeks ago and sent my cub cadet zt2 60 off a three foot retaining wall. No damage. Other than scratching on the retaining wall. Lol keep up the great videos.
