I know this is an old video, but I'm so so sorry. This brings back so many tough emotions for me because I lost my beautiful six year old pup to what I think is the same disease about a year and a half ago. Her body was attacking its own blood cells also and it came on incredibly suddenly.. and we lost her in 5 days too. She ended up having a seizure which caused her heart to stop, and she passed away before we could get back to the vet to be with her. It's the worst pain in the world. I hope Woofy and my Bailey are playing together somewhere xo
I couldn't stop crying watching this! I remember when I lost my dog, Tess, two years ago, it was tough :( Some people don't understand how close we can get to our pets. Now I have a 2 year old Labrador named Archie :-) Even though I have a new dog, my family and I still talk about the fab memories we had with Tess!
Anyone who says "it's just a dog" has never loved an animal before ;; I'm crying my eyes out right now. I know this was a few years ago but R.I.P Woofie ;; No worrying about crying also, it's perfectly normal to be sobbing your eyes out. I'm at that part in life also. My baby boy puppy turns 14 next week and his health is slowing down, we nearly lost him a few days before Christmas but he survived but vet said he has about a year left in hi, if less. The important thing to know is you loved them every day and they will forever be in your memory.

I don't think anybody really understand or knows the impact any pet has on your life until you have a pet yourself. They may not be a child or person, but that's what they feel like, sometimes even more. Pets are just as important to anyone as people are :)

My little puppy was only 1 year old when he got ran over on the 10th of December 2013, I also never got to say goodbye and it honestly is one of the worst feelings, a dog is part of the family and always will be, he really was like a brother and like a child& he's a massive loss, I bet a lot of people understand exactly how you feel fleur, I love you :) xxx

Well my dog got ran over and our family was chasing him then he went in front of the UPS truck and I never got to say bye all I said was "get out the road (with tears)" and I loved him so much he was never trained but he was still a good boy even up in heaven. he died October the 22nd we got him from church he was the best dogf I ever had and no dog could ever replace him then 2 years later my grandpa died and it broke my heart I will love them both but I had a other grandpa but I never saw him he died when my mom was pregnet with my oldest brother bye I loved then rip grandpas and Nike aka my dogs name
I lost my black labrador when she was 14 years old and I was 11 years old. At the time I was camping for 5 days . my family told me that she had passed away when I was camping . She was like a big sister to me and she would always be there for me😭. She also helped me with my anxiety and panic attacks😫. Sian died because she had stomach problems and kept having operations. One morning on the 29/07/13 at 9:00am she was rushed to the vet . Vet discovered that her stomach slited open and stomach acid was running everywhere in her body . Burning her kidneys , liver , veins , heart and so on . She was putted down on a Monday at 11:00am 29/07/13❤️ 5 months later I got a black Labrador puppy called Lucky. She was my world and she was like my little baby 😘. A month later she passed away when she was 4 month 1day old. 2 days before Christmas Day🌲. We took her to a fair and she collapsed in the middle of the street. I carried her home and then she kept collapsing. She went on a drip for a night at the vets. She came home , I fed her with a spoon and cleaned her if she peed her self because the drip maked her pee a lot . When I was holding her she started gagging , I thought she was going to throw up but she was taking her last breath😢. I can't believe that a puppy died in my arms because she had heart failure😭 she died on a Monday at 11:00pm 23/12/13 . I guess she wasn't very lucky after all 😭❤️ Love you Sian and Lucky so much. You still live on in my heart and soul💞😘❤️😭

this whole Woofy thing made me cry for ages! and I will really miss her, but things got brighter when you got Squidge and Tweazle 10 days later, which was really brave, then you got Piglet and a lot of us have been supporting you the whole way, I really hate to have to come across this video that I once watched years ago, but just know that everybody here watching you now is supporting you through all your tough moments, and I hope you do well with your last 3 dogs!

I lost my dog a few days ago. She was alone for 36 h before her surgery, and the vet called during surgery and said that she was filled with cancer. I went to see her and she fell asleep in my arms. I keep feeling so so so guilty for her being alone before the surgery. If I had known that she would not come home, I would have taken her for a long walk, played, cuddled and all. I hope I will not punish myself forever.. I just miss her so much. I have woken up every hour during the night, crying and apologizing. Gah. I guess watching this provides me with comfort and support. ❤️
My mini schnauzer was put down a week ago had him for 14years his liver was failing and he had CDD? Or CCD which is basically like dementia it was the hardest thing because the vet basically said he's like this and will only get worse over time until u decide to have him put down we kept him alive as long as we could but his liver problems meant he was eating and drinking lots but losing weight his back legs started to hurt and he struggled to stand up and walk around - the hardest thing iv ever had to deal with was coming downstairs and the kitchen door being open we have a large kitchen so he got locked in there at night time because his illnesses meant he started doing the toilet in the house and it was easier to clean than on the carpet for nights after I fell asleep with his little waterproof jacket in my bed after lots of crying we just got a new mini schnauzer today 1week after tod was put down we couldn't live without a dog we got him from a different breeder because the one we got tod from no longer did schnauzers I cried my eyes out when I read my new puppys papers and saw he was related to tod (tods parents are this dogs grand parents ) happy tears tho its like he's still apart of my life now
I've watched this a couple of times now and it always gets me so bad :( I still miss my old dog that was put down about 9 years ago now and it was so awful to lose him and the loss is always horrendous :( I can't even bear to think about losing my current dog now. They are just extensions of the family no other explanation for them. I'm just so glad you have the poopies now because, no they don't replace her but they help heal and remind you of all the good parts to pets :)! xo

Omg, I am sitting here crying like it's no tomorrow. I don't think a person who never had a dog will ever be able to understand the love a person can feel for a dog. It's like a best friend. I have a dog myself... and just thinking about that I will lose him some day makes me cry. I love him so much that it hurts.

I am watching this 2 years later, I watched when this happened, and I was so sorry for you and now I know how losing a pet feels, as I lost my beloved cat, Millie when she was 5 years (a few weeks ago) and she got hit by a car when I was on holiday and the day after we came back we found out that she passed away instantly and I didn't even get to say goodbye, she meant everything to me and some people just don't understand the pain of losing a pet until they go through it. Things will never be the same when you lose a pet as they are all different!!! 😭😭

aww fleur, thank you for sharing this. I've watched you on youtube for about 6 months now and just came across this. I'm sat here with my 9 weeks old puppy and it makes me so sad to think of anything happening to him. Owning a pet brings so much joy and happiness and so much heartbreak when we say goodbye... Im sure you gave her such a happy life whilst she was here. x x
Don't listen to what people tell you. A dog or cat or any other pet is NEVER just a pet. They are part of people's families. I love my dog like she's a sister.
So sorry for you loss :( I know exactly what it's like. I had my dog for 16 years (since I was 4) and she stopped eating for about 2 weeks. We thought we'd lose her then but she got better for about 3 weeks, then finally she got even worse. But it seems like you gave her a wonderful life and she's thanking you for that in doggy heaven :)
This video made me cry so hard because it reminded me of everything we did for my dog jake when he had cancer and it spread everywhere. I'm like balling my eyes out writing this
A pet is never just a pet, it's family. I remember when I had to get my dog put to sleep, I cried for about a week. He had cancer which we never knew cause there was no sign of it until it was too late. He was 18 and I had him for 17 years. I've still got a picture of him hanging up on my wall and he's been gone about 13 years now.
I cried a lot watching this, my dog Mitsy got put down in October and in November we got a labradoodle puppy called George who is the best thing that's happened since
i cried a lot at this , it reminded me of bad things , the exact same thing happened to me and it's heartbreaking not being able to be with your animal before the die , especially when they're young , it's very sad but we know they no longer have to suffer and even if they survived they wouldn't be the same. I'm so sorry for your loss :( I know exactly how you feel when they go so young. A couple years ago we had to put our kitten down who had a similar disease as your pup and she was only 6 months...it was devastating! I cried for weeks so don't feel bad! Just because they're not human doesn't mean they're not family! My heart is with you both!
My cat died unexpectedly yesterday. Apparently she had a tumour. I am heartbroken and can't quite believe it. Had to think of this vlog, exactly how I feel too. Pets become part of a family and she will be forever missed, my family loved her dearly.
This is probably the worst couple of days now really. My dog was put to sleep last friday and I really can't stand all the feelings and the missing. I had her for 14 years and not having her is just explainable and awful . I just miss her sooo much, I don't even know why I'm sharing this. I just felt like maybe letting it out might ease the struggle. How do you do this? How to cope?
It will get better. Now it doesn't seem that way but it will. I lost my dog after having him 1 year. I was lost, he was my baby, I saw him get hit by a car and it messed me up really bad. He was so spoiled to me, everywhere I would go he would be there. He couldn't sleep unless I was by his kennel. However, it all takes time and it will get better, hang in there
I know it doesn't feel like it now but with every day it gets easier. I lost my dog four years ago and I still miss her dearly but the horrible, empty pain does ease. Sorry for your loss❤️

My Dog died this week. I came back to watch this video because I was feeling really alone in how my family and I are feeling right now. My Lacey wasn't "just a dog" to us. She was a best friend to my dad, a teddy bear to my mum and even though my little brother is a 6''2, 16 year old now, she still watched over him like she did when he was a little kid. When she collapsed and lost the ability to move the morning she died, my brother was crying and every few minutes she would struggle to lift her head and check to see if he was okay. Even though it made it hard for her to breath, she wanted to see if David was alright. We loved her so much and she loved us back. Dogs can't talk like humans do but their actions can say so much more about love and acceptance and joy than any words could.
I cried so many times while watching this. I know you have new puppies and I hope they bring you joy and happiness. Woofy will never be forgotten, she was a family member and that's how we all feel about our pets. Keep thinking about the good times with her :)

I had a dog and we had to put him to sleep in 2012. The way I got better was by going to build a bear and making a stuffed animal in memory of him and I put the collar that he wore 24/7 on the stuffed animal. My parents got him when they moved into the house and he was by my side the day I got home. Even though he passed away 3 years ago I still have dreams that he is sitting on my bead and ill wake up to pet him and when I see he's not there I start to cry. But I'm still getting better
I'm sitting here crying like a baby just thinking how hard it must be to lose a pet. I have two cats and two dogs and they're like siblings to me and I don't ever want to lose them and I know it happens but it just so hard. I know I'm probably just rambling now but I don't know what else to say. I'm just going to sit here and have a good cry.
Watching this made me so sad, something similar happened to me a few years ago. You never really realise just how much of a family member your dog becomes until something like this happens. It's literally like losing a part of yourself, I hope your beautiful new puppies have helped. I just lost my dog last night due to heart failure. I had him for 13 years, and his death was so sudden. I don't really know what to do. Have taken the day of, because I can't go to work crying and without sleep. I don't like being at home because I look over to where he use to sleep in his little house. How do I stop crying again? It really is a chock and it was painful to watch. Where do I go from here?
I haven't lost a pet my self but someone quite close to me has and you just need to say strong because they wouldn't want you to be upset, you just have to make the times you had really special, and remember the happy moments you did spent with them🐶🐕
Don't care what people say now but I got 3 little russian hamster sisters last christmas. One died in July, she was only 7 months old...and I cried a lot!! And no, don't care if people say she was ONLY a hamster. She had a little personality...she made me laugh, she was so tame and friendly. RIP my little Nyx...x

Too young to know much, she was beginning to learn To use the newspapers spread on the kitchen floor And to win, wetting there, the words, "Good dog! Good dog!" We thought her shy malaise was a shot reaction. The autopsy disclosed a rupture in her liver. As we teased her with play, blood was filling her skin And her heart was learning to lie down forever. Monday morning, as the children were noisily fed And sent to school, she crawled beneath the youngest's bed. We found her twisted and limp but still alive. In the car to the vet's, on my lap, she tried To bite my hand and died. I stroked her warm fur And my wife called in a voice imperious with tears. Though surrounded by love that would have upheld her, Nevertheless she sank and, stiffening, disappeared. Back home, we found that in the night her frame, Drawing near to dissolution, had endured the shame Of diarrhoea and had dragged across the floor To a newspaper carelessly left there. Good dog.
we lost Maggie a cat that was 19 years old and mom had her even before i was born got her when she was born cause grandmas friend owned Maggies mom. she got hit by a car because i went to the store next to my house and came back and didnt realize she had followed me. mom came home with her her hip was broken and a nice lady had picked her up off the side of the road(she had crawled onto the sidewalk) and taken her to the animal sanctuary where mom works....we took care of her for awhile but she couldnt go bathroom we had to clean her regularly with washcloth, couldnt walk and was loosing her hair...and was in pain all the time so after about a month or so we decided to put her to sleep....i went with mom for support and we both saw the life leave her..we have a permanent foster cat now that lives in my room with me that looks almost just like her and she stays in my room and mom has called her maggie a couple times...i think its been maybe a half year or so now? maybe less but its still hard we still think about her all the time and i still mistake tinkerbell(pure simese permanent foster) for her sometimes

Just experienced a very similar situation with my dog who unfortunately suddenly passed away yesterday at the age of 12. I've never been so devastated in my entire life, he meant everything to me and he was put to sleep within the space of three hours of us knowing he was ill after previously never showing any signs of illness. I can honestly say these past two days have been the worst in my entire life, 2/3 of my life have been spent with this beloved dog and for it all to end so quickly...
I felt soooo much for you as I watched this. I have recently just got a new dog from a rescue centre but she was only four months when we got. I have been around dogs all my life and I couldn't imagine loading my new dog. I hope this helps and good luckxxxxxxxx

Tomorrow my dog Sam is getting put down. I'm so sad, although I was fortunate enough to have had him for nearly 15 years, it's so hard. I won't have another dog for several years since I'm about to move out and I want to travel and such while I'm still young. And my parents don't want another dog. But no dog can replace Sam

I did have a dog around 7 years ago and he was really snappy so we sent him to a farm as they said the could look after him, and keep in touch but they didn't my mum when to see the farm and the dog wasn't their, apparently they put the dog down as soon as it got to the new place my heart broke from this i totally understand. X
This made me cry so much! It remind me of my family dog, Bubba, that I got for my 7th birthday who passed away when I was 20 and away at college. I got a chance to say goodbye to him in March, but he passed away unexpectedly in May 2010. I was heartbroken, and it still really makes me sad. I love to remember all of the good memories though!! I lost my dog recently after a short period of illness, so I can really relate to what you went through. And it is just wonderful that you went ahead and got new puppies. I'm still looking into getting a dog, partly because I'm afraid that all we'll be doing is trying to replace him and that's just not an option. Best of luck to you and the puppies
