Hi Molly! I am the guy who spoke to you in front of The Tree of Life, just after you recorded your closing segment for this video. Thanks again, for all of your GREAT advice. Because of you and the All Ears crew, my family had a FANTASTIC week at Disney World! I am a dentist from Arkansas. My two oldest children are in college, so they couldn’t make the trip, however, my four youngest children, my wife, and I had a FANTASTIC time! I posted a short video, yesterday, which highlighted our family’s dream vacation! Thanks again for all the great tips and advice!!! Cliff
Animal Kingdom is my favorite park!! Molly is great at showing you how to have an amazing day regardless of what you do! I did giggle every time she said Pizza Rizzo instead of Pizzafari haha
Can I just say I really like how when molly takes us into the queue of a line she shows us the ride as well. I’ve seen other videos where people just describe the ride afterward but I love seeing the beautiful rides and hearing everyone have fun ☺️
Team Dinosaur! This is the closest you can get to an Indians Jones ride! My daughter loved Triceratop Spin, Kilimanjaro Safari, Gorilla Trail, & Dinosaur (at the time she was too small for Expedition Everest, Primeval Whirl, and Flight of Passage). We loved the “It’s Tough to Be A Bug”, “Finding Nemo Musical”, & “Festival of the Lion King” too. Admittedly we did skip Kali River Rapids (my daughter did not want to get wet), the carnival games, and Rafiki Planet (it was just too hot that day), but still had an awesome time. Would love to go back to AK someday-especially after they makeover the Finding Nemo show and experience more of the tasty food offerings around the park. Great video!
Our younger daughter wasn't quite tall enough for FoP (and wasn't 100% sure about riding it anyway), so I took her on the Na'vi River Journey while my wife and older daughter rode FoP. Little one adored it, and I thought it was delightful! Of course the Shaman of Songs was wonderful, but what stole the show for me were the leaves with the shadows of the frog-like creatures running around on them. (They even 'bounced' under the weight of the creatures, which was a nice touch.) Maybe I'm just a big kid at heart, but I loved the whole thing. Bonus: we rode it last thing at night, and when we came out, the whole land was lit up with 'bio-luminescence' which was totally magical.
I always feel EPCOT being the hottest park because of the concrete, for me foliage means shadow and shadow means cooler feeling so at the end of the day I think it is all about our perspectives :)
“The temperature in the Animal Kingdom easily averages 10 degrees hotter than any other place on Disney property. This is due to the dense vegetation which has created a "rain forest" effect.” From Allears website!
It’s more humid because of all the plants and trees. Some of the plants and trees are from different parts of the world! I believe some actually do come from the rain forest itself.
Molly I would love to see a vidio on getting from car park to the various theme parks entrance and ticket booths. People who havnt visited before would find this so useful particularly with magic kingdom as I know there's different ways to enter park. I'm hopefully returning next Dec but it's been so long since my last visit I can't visualise the routes from parking to park entrance. I'm using all your videos to re learn ready for my trip I absolutely love them. Thank you x
i literally have vivid memories of being like 4 and crying from it's tough to be a bug. my mom literally had to take me out because it scared me so bad.
My mom got a back injury on that ride from the “stinger” that jabs you in the back. It got her on the side of her spine and she had a huge bruise. 😳 Can be a pretty traumatic ride for many 😕
My husband and I did the Animation Experience at Rafiki's Planet Watch the last time we were there and I must say it was one of my favorite things I've done at Disney. We were sat by the photo of Walt drawing and it was a total mood! Will definitely do it again!
OK, Molly! You finally got me to comment on one of your videos! I am LOVING this video, and you truly ARE a Slytheryn! That was incredible. I usually watch your videos on my television Roku, and that only allows me to LIKE 👍 and not comment. So, right now I am watching you on my TV, AND my phone! Lol 😆 . Thank you!
Hi Molly! Really love your videos! A video suggestion for you: Doing 2 parks in one day. What would be the 2 parks you would combine? Would love to hear all of your tips to have the best day ever when combining 2 parks. As always, love your videos and keep making magic!
So Animal Kingdom has not been my most favorite park to visit, but after watching several of your videos there I am going to give it another chance! Thanks Molly
that dino molly won reminded me of the dinos a woman used to give to the cast members at dak. she was such a delight to see :) really made our day to see her and get a little gift 🧡🧡
I think that increasing the games by a dollar a ticket (they used to be $5 a ticket) and having only one game have those really cute prizes adds to the worst day ever.
Navi river journey is too short of a boat ride for a long wait and it needs more in it. Cheeseburger pods.. my son who loves McDonald's cheeseburgers HATED these, I tried a bite to see why, I was not a fan either, the make it your way bowls are by far the better choice.
Ok so controversial opinion: i miss primeval whirl. It had such a nostalgic feeling to it and despite the sharp turns and rickety track that really sold the ‘sketchy fair’ aesthetic. I remember as a young kid my brother and I would go on at least 10 times and whoever tapped out first would pay for the others lunch with the money we got. Great way to bring feuding siblings together!!
I’ll go write a review because I love Rafiki’s Planet Watch. Maybe people are disappointed because they think they’ll get to pet a giraffe and only find goats? One thing that has always bothered me a bit is why the train goes past things like a parking lot. You think they’d add some sets like they have at the Magic Kingdom RR. If the Before Times we met Rafiki there. I’m also going to defend Triceratops Spin. It’s Dumbo with Dinos, but unlike Dumbo it has a wheelchair car! So nice to have an accessible attraction in Dinoland
I am a former pre-k and kindergarten teacher. I used to have these toys in my class that you could put the fronts and backs of different animals together . The Okapi reminds me of those.
Before we became AP holders, we didn't love AK because it closes earliest and we found it to be extremely humid with not much to do. However, we have come to appreciate taking time to enjoy the non-thrill ride stuff and we love it now. we visit the nooks and crannies and animal watch . My son could spend hours at Rafiki....we wouldn't waste time there before but now let him visit as long as he wants. I'm sorry you missed Bruce!
We went in June last year. Saved for years to take our kids. We rode one ride, and then found out my husband best friend passed. We were in animal kingdom for 1.5 hours.
Last time I went to AK I actually arrived well past noon and stayed till closing! I rode every ride I wanted to (excluding Triceratop spin) and had an amazing time! It really just depends on the day 🤷🏻♀️
The pay for animal trek is awesome, you get to walk on the rope bridges above the hippos and alligators and eat at the cabana on the hill in the middle of the safari!
Though I’ve never seen the movie and I adore flight of passage, Navi river is one of the most beautiful and relaxing rides in all the parks and I never leave animal kingdom without riding it no matter how long the wait is. To me it is the perfect last ride of a Disney trip.
I really lucked out back in July as the only time my family and I could ride the safari was at 12:30. We weren't expecting to see really any animals because it felt like over 100 degrees. We were shocked to see the giraffes, cheetahs, hippos but most exciting a baby elephant cooling off in the pond! It was only the second time our guide had ever seen it!
We loved the Navi river journey, our first time, i wish it was like 15 minutes longer! flight of passage always has too Long of line, maybe 3rd time will be the charm! We plan to go back next year
Only been to AK once, two years ago. We didn't have any major must do's, didn't do much research. We did most of these don't do's 😂 but I LOVED this park and can't wait to go back some day.
Essentially if youve never been to a certain park or come very rarely. You will always want to arrive early. In the first 2 hours of the parks opening; will pretty much leave all attractions except for a few(star wars stuff) with little to no lines, it will also be less hot in the morning. Im an annual passholder and I still arrive 30min before the park actually opens, just because I despise waiting in 1hr+ lines, even if ive rode that ride 20+ times :)
I have to agree. I know there is a lot to do in animal kingdom but I feel like it might be lacking on attractions. Maybe changes coming in the future will revamp and excite this park.
I agree with what you said about navi river journey about how waiting too long makes it not worth with is how I feel for every ride for example I waited in line for escape from gringotts in universal for 240 minutes (4 hours) making it feel not worth it but when we rope dropped it and waited maybe 5 minutes it felt so worth it and exiting
No wonder I had the worst day ever. I got there late, we didn’t ride flight of passage, we didn’t eat a santuli canteen. We left and came back at almost close. It was a very bad day at Disney for us.
Let’s agree, there is no way to have a bad day at Disney or Universal. Unless there are extreme measures that cause it like topics that aren’t related to the park…
So, Animal Kingdom is my least favorite park but I would make a special trip just for those buffalo chicken nachos and ESPECIALLY that home made ice cream sandwich!!!!
I have to say those little puffy pizza's might not be amazing, but they're quite good. They also don't put any of the junk I'm allergic to (a specific variety of cheeses) on them so I might be a little biased, but I don't understand the hate. I guess I would take Flame Tree Barbeque over the pizzas though. I have never had a good meal at Satu'li Canteen though. It's always either been nasty or resulted in diarrhea. I've literally only gotten sick from one other Disney restaurant 15ish years ago at a quick service Chinese place in Hollywood Studios. (Then MGM)
Animal Kingdom is my favourite park. I have never understood the dislike for AK or the mantra that it’s a half day park. So not true for me! FoP is my all-time favourite ride, along with Expedition Everest at close second, and I love the Safari so much. I don’t think I’d enjoy the park quite as much now that the shows and streetmosphere have gone - I always made time for Finding Nemo in the past, and Festival of The Lion King made me cry more than once in its original form. But it’s still a great park.
