The rose is currently without a company, so please, try to support and promote them a lot if they have a comeback! I've seen the rose live last year and i can't explain how much these boys love to be on stage! They deserved so much better from their company....

I understand companies wanting to take advantage of momentum their groups have in the moment but what they did to the rose was way too much

As a blackrose when I heard the news I was so upset. I saw them live last year and they were amazing I love their music and they're awesome musicians they're my favorite band

They have such a gorgeous and unique sound and it pains me to think how little it seems they made because of their company. I even remember thinking last year ‘God, it seems like they tour a lot. I wish they would focus on new material instead’ Considering how profitable concerts can be in comparison to a comeback (YG am looking at you) it is so infuriating how exploited they were.

the rose is my favorite band and i've been a fan of them since debut.... it makes me furious to hear j&star's bs claims about not paying the rose because ''they didn't earn any money''. - they've been on multiple (sold out) world tours - they write and produce their own music - they released their albums through makestar, a crowd funding website, where they not only reached 100% of their funding goal, but actually earned more than TEN times the amount of money they wanted to earn - don't quote me on this but i think most of the members even brought their own instruments when they joined the company so i'm wondering: where did all that money go? what exactly was the reason they couldn't pay the rose for YEARS? also, suddenly bringing up ''romantic partners'' and saying the rose were lying to the company seems kinda sus to me... feels like they're making up stuff to piss off the fans..? because the fanbase has been nothing but suppportive of the boys throughout their lawsuit and i haven't seen a single person side with the company. i obviously don't know the members personally, but i'm 100% sure, without a doubt, that they're saying the truth, they're the kindest and most hard working artists i've ever had the pleasure to meet. i'm glad that they're out of that shit company and i hope from the bottom of my heart, that they'll get the support and love they deserve, when they continue making music in the future. thank you for this video and bringing light to the rose's situation! sorry for my bad english, btw ^^;

also for their 2019 'we rose you' tour, i'm 95% sure their tour schedule made them have a concert every other day, with the day between being for transport. imagine how tired they must've been, having to perform with no rest. i hope the members remember black roses rose then, and i hope everyone else who isnt a black rose checks out their music and shows their support. the rose mean so much to me, they are a truly amazing band 🌹

I'm just going to outright say it, this company is disgusting. When confronted with the damage they'd inflicted they immediatey opted to shift the blame onto their own artists and use whatever they had, blatant lies probably included, to clean their own name. Despite absences, dating history etc. not being part of the issue at all, they were hoping it would spark negative response from fans that would turn them against the group. It's despicable and completely unacceptable. I hope The Rose will be able to recover and continue to have a successful career without their horrible former company and that no one ever auditions for it again. Truly.

This series is one of my favourites on RU-vid. Really eye-opening and thanks for making it!! I really hope you could make a video on TOP Media some day. They've done so many bad things throughout the years it's time someone with your voice and audience exposed them. They have mistreated and poorly managed every group they've debuted so far except for MCND (but alas it is only the beginning of their career and I fear for these kids). Teen Top carry the company's name, had a successful debut, but as soon as they got popular, TM sent them on a tour instead of trying to promote them more actively, thus losing the hype around them. It's been almost a year since they last had a comeback and one of the members recently said that the company pushes them to make RU-vid videos and doesn't care about their music and that they're making 70$ each month. They debuted another boygroup called 100% and basically let them rot in the dungeon. They didn't care about them at all to the point where they even gave them worse meals than Teen Top because "Teen Top are the more popular ones", although there was no bad blood between the two. They barely give 100% comeback and promotions and it's obvious that they won't put any effort into them. Even after their leader passed away suddenly TM wouldn't allow the fans to create a memorial for him and did nothing to support the group during this difficult time. After 100% TM debuted Up10tion, a 10 member boy group. They had a successful debut and their career was going upwards but sadly one of the members got involved in a scandal that was proven to be false. TM did not handle the situation well at all, but thankfully let the member take a hiatus from activities after his mental health deteriorated. This is the only good thing TM has done for these boys, but unfortunately they stopped caring about Up10tion there and then. Even when their member returned from hiatus TM promoted them badly. They sent two of the members, Wooseok and Jinhyuk, to PDX, where they excelled and gained immense popularity. Wooseok made it into X1 but Jinhyuk was eliminated despite being one of the most popular trainees. TM could have used his fame to promote their group but instead chose to debut him solo and BAN HIM from speaking about his Up10tion members as well as Up10tion's fans and vice versa. The group had their last comeback last summer and one of the members told fans that they had no support from the company during promotions. And when Wooseok came back from X1 they did the same with him. They also put the group's leader on hiatus after he got involved with fake dating rumors and have since said that he is on a break for health reasons and that Up10tion will comeback as 7 this summer, but nothing more has been said. Their newest boygroup is MCND. What was surprising was how much money and promotions TM gave them, despite being a rookie group. They went all out with promoting them, but it seems to have reached the point of them being overworked. They have new MVs for their songs being released all the time and just finished promotions for the first time in months since their debut. It breaks my heart to see so many talented boys get their dreams crushed because of their company and I feel like the kpop community needs to know what is going on. I have a soft spot for Up10tion as they are my ultimate group and I am seeing the members in such a devastating condition, even those who the company is now promoting as soloists, and they need all the attention they can get. The Rose could be up there with Day6 in terms of recognition if they were promoted better. You know as soon as J&Star turned and tried to slander the rose it made me think they knew about the images. It's the same behavior, turn and snap at someone else and shift the blame away. It's a shame the Rose was/is an amazing band. Yeah I know some kbands in history spent years without being paid, but the tours alone should have put money into their pockets. And the fact, if true, the company made promises that was to great for it's britches. Rather then being open and honest they did what so many companies have done and screwed over their money makers.

I don't know The Rose a lot, only listen to Sorry (which is an incredible song), but few of my friends really love this band and went to their concert. But I was shocked when the news came out. It makes me so mad and sick to see these artists working without any break and being treated like that. Is this that difficult to treat people decently and pay them correctly... I don't understand why having an agency when you can't offer the minimum decent things such as good work condition, trust, correct payment, treatment etc... Thank you for this episode, I really hope The Rose will succeed in getting back on their feet.

I really really like the Rose, i started listening to them 2 years ago and thought they were so sick especially since i hadnt really explore further than kpop groups it breaks my heart how badly their company treated them

It feels so sad to watch this because I saw The Rose live in December for a K-pop convention in Toronto, I was a brand new Black Rose at the time so I wasn't aware of their schedule, their stage was my favourite that day and I feel a bit guilty now knowing they were going through so much, I even got a hi-touch with them, they were so friendly and hardworking they deserve the best so it sucks that the J&Star stuff is happening

honestly idk whats worse being over worked or being left in the dungeon for years , this industry is ruthless, even tho i dont know anything about The Rose i can relate this video to Twice's early 2017 to early 2019 (2 year period) were they had comebacks every month between Korea and Japan (plus all the tours and other promotional things they did at the time) and at that time i was seriously scared for them, they had no time to even sleep, so i can just imagine how the fans of The rose feel... but at the same time i see how frustrated idols get when they dont get any work (and ofc thats totally normal considering no promotions mean no money made) not to mention in this industry u can be forgotten in 0.2 seconds if u dont have a stable comeback schedule, so this is a shitty situation overall

They really do deserve better, and I think your videos spread a lot of awareness to how entertainment companies mistreat their idols. There's just one tiny error I want to point out to avoid confusion for those who are newer to or not in the fandom: The Rose's former name is "Windfall" and not "Windmill". It sucks that J&Star has been treating them so terrible...Artists are not robots, they too need breaks! and they got no profit from any of those promotions and tours? It’s terrible to hear.

The only good thing J&Star company had done was knowing The Rose is talent and signed them in. Because they went on music bank, I found them when I was watching. "Like we used to" drew me in. I went to their concert in Seoul. They are not small at all, it's a sold out show. The venue is very crowded and too small to hold all of us. Also they even went on promo for exposure on the Gangnam Yongdongdaero concert

You need to do fnc. Today mina uploaded how jimin neglected and bullied her, and when her father died, the company didn't even cancel their schedule. She even was overdose on sleeping pills and had signs of self harm and she clearly said to the ceo that jimin is bullying her but they neglected her. Aoa's former member said in front of han sung ho, the ceo how he only likes and knows the names of popular members of groups. Lee hongki also dissed his ceo that he doesn't pay his artists. Underpaying, neglecting artists, unfair treatment, fat shaming, etc he is like the worst ceo

they also cancelled one of their europe concerts on november 22nd of last year (around two weeks prior to it) and never gave an actual explanation for it. we later found out they were going to an award show in germany (if i'm not mistaken) on the same day the concert was supposed to be held. i remember being really hurt about it but know that we know about this i believe it was j&star's solo decision and they did not include the band's opinion on it.

I’m really glad I’m one of those people who finds out the good as well as the bad about everything they like. There are many people who aren’t willing to find out the bad and would rather stay ignorant as they think it would tarnish their view of what they like but if they really like it they will continue liking it as everything has bad things about them. Like if something is happening to their favorite artist they SHOULD learn about it so they can try to do things to help the artist. I’m glad there are people like you who are spreading information about some of the darker sides of kpop and I appreciate the amount of research and work you would have had to do to make these videos.

This whole thing breaks my heart honestly... I saw them live in November 2019 in Italy and it was the best experience of my entire life. Now that I realize how tired they must have been from the company overworking them I'm honestly in shock. On stage, they gave it their best. There wasn't a moment where they seemed tired or sick of performing. They truly love being on stage and the whole concert they looked so happy. Please support The Rose, these boys are one of the best things that have ever happened to me and knowing how much they love to perform for their fans but can't hurts me. PLEASE!! Support them. They truly deserve it.
