Seeing Daniel on tv as a kid got me into the poker scene. Love the energy in the vlogs and seeing you play is amazing! Keep it up kid poker let’s go win this thing ! ♠️
At the end of WSOP 2023 and the VBLOGS stopped it was like the end of The Turman show, you had nothing to watch.... But now it is starting again, love the content and the honest comments from Kid Poker.
I’m glad I’m not the only one looking forward to DNegs’ WSOP vlogs ❤ 2:27 My Mom’s shower is like this…I never felt so stupid as when I tried to figure out her “fancy” shower 😂
Been watching since it started appearing on tv in the early 00’s seen DNegs vlogs every year since he started. Rooting for you as always!!! Thanks for doing the vlogs again this year!! LFG!!!!
Lol he yelled "Whoa!" and passed right over him to talk to the young guy... Seems like everybody in poker at that age is just some has-been because the young guys are too good.
That's because 10 years ago we were told 20 bigs was short. That isn't the case any more. 20 bigs is healthy in NLHE. That was also back when 3x to 4x was standard preflop raise. Now 2x to 2.5x is a standard raise. The game has evolved, but there are some people that are stuck in the past.
I saw Allen at Seminole hard rock over the winter and yelled at him, “hey you’re chainsaw” and he just smiled and said “yeah I am”. It was so cool lol!
Commenting before I watch the rest of the video… I travel throughout Africa and the Middle East for a living and totally feel your hotel room shower pain… Good luck (with the WSOP too).
27 days till I land in Vegas to play the Colossus 9 times and maybe to $800 HORSE event at Aria on July 2nd. These blogs are getting me excited to play!
Love the Vlogs Daniel. I've been a fan since I learned the game back in 2003 while in Iraq. My Dream has always been to play in the WSOP Main Event one time. 21 years later still Dreaming, but I have faith that one day my Dream will come True.
Hey Daniel, Just ordered the Contender’s Boxer Briefs for my son’s 60th Birthday! We met you I at the Napa Valley Casino, Vallejo, California, along with Moneymaker! We have enjoyed following you for Years! Good Luck in the Games! Gloria (GreatGranny) & David Silva (Dirtydogdave)
I love the elevator vlog with random people. I love that they didn't know you right off, and you just kept going and it felt wholesome. Thatd be great to see more often. Reminds me that you're human like the rest of us.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always loved Daniel. But I remember watching him back in the day. He’d wear the crazy colored sweater vests with the collared shirt coming out of the top, he’d be rocking the bleach highlights. I’d be like, this dude is a baller, but his fashion sense is horrific! Now he’s got the much more relaxed and confident wardrobe, the fade game working, beard game on point. You can tell Mrs. Negreanu has been a good influence on him. Boys, the value of a having a good woman by your side in life is soooo important in a million different ways.
With poker becoming bigger and bigger every year, it’s bound to happen that you will come across people that have never had the opportunity to take a photo with you yet 😊 Scott & I have been fans of yours since seeing KidPoker and have tried to get a photo with you in Vegas and in Toronto, but we didn’t want to bother you while you were on your break 😊 We’re going back to Vegas in a few weeks to stay at the Mirage one last time, so maybe the third time’s a charm and we will get a photo with you this time 😊 We’ll bring some Tim Horton’s coffee for you, as well as some treats for Rocky & Apollo 😊
Very nice format, Daniel is an entertainer, also great editing. There is a really good atmosphere and energy in Vegas for the WSOP, good memories when I was there, were still at the Rio.
Not just that, its cool to see the daily life of a professional poker player during the biggest event of the year and see how they reflect on hands while its still fresh versus processing it later
Dnegs thank you so much for doing this series year after year. I'm dealing with some health issues this year so I'm most likely not able to come out for the series. But watching these still makes me feel like I'm there. So I truely appreciate all the effort you and your team put into making these. Thanks again and go get a couple of bracelets
Home vidoes and drive in videos were better. But seeing you this focused and staying at hotel to remain focused, is so much fun. You have laser focus right not this early on
I have someone working on an app for the automation of payouts, my goal is to make the Tournament Directors job a breeze. The first iteration is just a final table poker timer, but I have several generations planned out and the end goal is to make it work with bounty tournaments and everything. Each player would be input by a unique ID number and when tables need to break it would tell everyone where to go automatically, keeping track of empty seats, along with how much time bank that player has left. I hope to have it done before next year's WSOP, I have been trying to find someone to make it for several years. I finally found a programmer who likes poker and sees the value in it. If I get it made and it works then I'll be there giving the money I made back to poker, lol.
that's my boy there, knows how to read people's poker hands but doesn't know how to operate a shower, lol .... also very modest and humble when he said "I'm a youtuber"; respect !
I believe you'll win at least 2 bracelets this year. I met you 12 years ago and shook your hand at 2 am in the Rio was so star struck. My mother and I would watch poker after dark together and she had the biggest crush on you. Been following you for so many years. Best of luck Dnegs letssssss goooooooo!
Actually, the "worst fold ever" occurred on Season 2 of High Stakes Poker (the Small Blind was $300; Big Blind was $600; Ante was $100 from each of eight players): Pre-flop (pot was $1,700): Todd Brunson in Hijack seat open-rraised to $1,600-his Hold'em hand was Jc 8c Sam Farha in SB called $1,300-his Hold'em hand was Kc 5d Daniel Negreanu in BB called $1,000-his Hold'em hand was As 9h Flop (pot was $5,600) - 5c Js 5s Sam Farha in SB checked Daniel in BB checked Todd Brunson in Hijack checked Turn (pot was $5,600) - 9s Sam Farha in SB bet $10,000 Daniel in BB called $10,000 Todd Brunson in Hijack called $10,000 River (pot was $35,600) - Qs Sam Farha in SB checked Daniel in BB checked Todd Brunson in Hijack bet $21,000 Sam Farha in SB folded Daniel in BB folded (holding the Ace-high flush and winning hand)
See, that's how you do the selfies, and sneakily get more views, get people to screenshot the vlog posing with you while you shoot. I suggested this on the socials a few years back and it didn't get anywhere. But seriously, it saves you time.
Thanks for sharing Daniel. Those lines to register or reregister could be dramatically shorter if the organizer put more staff on. It is a readily solvable issue. Have fun, I know you will.
The shower such a classic, I think hotels do that on purpose just to mess with people. I have ran into a few places that made it impossible to find without a sign. I don't remember where but one had a push button right in the middle of the handle to turn the water on didn't even know there was a button.
When I think about it, your vlog camera is like a bodyguard. People see you filming, so they won't come to interrupt. If you didn't have a camera on all the time, you would be flooded with people asking for pictures and questions.
The EXACT same thing happened to me when I was at the Paris in April LOL. I felt defeated haha. But now we both know how to use the worlds most confusing shower.
The shower cracked me up. I stayed at Paris for WSOP last year and had the same issue and same thought "I'm going to look like an idiot if I have to ask the front desk how to turn on the shower"
For me its been always been frustrating that my friends of my age(19-20) never liked gambling or card games because on my own I dont have that push all the time to learn more because nobody else has the same interest while after watching just 15min of your vlog I already got the feeling to go back and learn further so you will see my money coming to your bank account very soon possibly :D
