As a music producer first and foremost I love that thing. It's great for experimenting with and getting weird sounds for stringed instruments, if you're hoping it sounds like it claims it does then you'll be disappointed but if you look at it from another point of view and completely ignore it's false claims you'll start to view it as useful in abstract ways

To be fair, this thing actually really comes in handy if you ever need to do a lice check on your guitar

I don't know man. Honestly it sounded kind of like a resonator and twelve string. I mean yea its not perfect but its closer that you will get with a regular pick.

honestly its not that bad, especially if you want your acoustic to sound different for some recordings + not all of us own all kinds of guitars to use as alternatives. The only downside of this is that it most likely ruins strings very quickly

I like it. It's weird, but it's something different. I wouldn't call it "trash" by a long shot. It's just calling for someone who can actually use it creatively.

I may have commented this before, at one point or another, but just in case I haven’t… the Jellyfish pick was weird af, and definitely didn’t live up to its claims. However, for an experimentalist/noiser if you layer a few effects over your guitar… maybe a delay, chorus, and even a splash of distortion, and scrape the ridges, and tap it along your strings, you can get some super haunting sounds out of it. So it’s not entirely without its uses, if you’re into doing weird shit. Haha. I honestly wish I could track down a couple of spares. I’ve got a couple of them somewhere, and found them again in my things not too long ago, but I haven’t seen them in a year now.

Hope you guys are enjoying these #shorts, I'm having a lot of fun making them. It's something different and takes some of the pressure off the bigger projects I've been working on. Translation: the next Shop Dagwz video is taking a long time to finish and it's nice to get something out in the meantime.

It actually doesn't sound bad. It has a unique sound.

When something is designed to do too many things, it ends up accomplishing none of them in a satisfactory manner.
