Just evacuated Tampa with my family at 4:00am. Even in the early morning hours traffic was still getting crazy. Praying for everyone who decided to stay....there were many I spoke to that are.
People in Florida with no place to go. Get in your car and come to the savannah area. Our gas stations and rest stops have power and room to park for a night or 2 while you wait out the storm. Please it is better than staying in the Tampa Area. I have been in a cat4 storm, you don't want no part of it. I have never been more scared in my life. Pitch black out with nothing but the sounds of trees exploding for hours.
If only I could get to there.... This is terrifying! Car just broke down, no extra $ or Savings to afford any of this, much less to leave... 😢 Please pray for us ❤
My friend’s son left St. Pete area last night @ 4:30 with his girlfriend and 2 cats. In 4 hours they made it 70 miles. No gas along the way, so have a back up. This morning they are finally in southern Georgia. Prayers to everyone, especially those staying or those who haven’t left yet. Look out for one another. God Bless you.
Not everyone stays because of "stuff". Some people stay because they are broke or disabled or elderly with no help or don't have a car or don't have any resources out of state.
I am so worried about those cats they have to let them out somewhere safe so that they can breathe can you imagine being stuck in that box that's just that can't happen
@@RickyMossyea so I’m telling first hand , there are tornadoes that pop up randomly around the hurricane, I know because I’m here , randomly like from outta nowhere
@@RickyMossMaybe the eye is 80 miles wide, the size of the storm is almost as wide as the state. It’s a guarantee power will be out, the question is for how long.
I see "prayers" over and over in this thread. Does ALL KNOWING GOD not know the hurricane is dangerous? Is ALL POWERFUL GOD not permitting all this death and destruction?!? Can YOU change the supposedly PERFECT MIND OF GOD??? Do you Ya'llkaeda EVER make sense or use reason???
Thanks for the update, Max. And people who are not in Florida, but know folks who are...I can tell you we appreciate you checking on us, but not projecting your worry on us. My phone along with all the phones of many of my friends are filled with people messaging...not a "how can I help?" but useless comments like "you need to leave!" We cannot evacuate an entire state. Here in Florida we are trying our best to prepare, to protect our homes, communities and lives. Most of the evacuations are near coastal areas due to the storm surge (which already delivered a wallop last week with Helene in this exact same area...) and less stable structures such as RVs and Mobile homes (especially older ones that are not tied down in any fashion.) Those of us a little further inland are by no means "safe" but safer. We are preparing our homes, checking on our neighbors, etc. I'm not saying don't call or message, but just we aware that having a phone full of panicked messages does not help us. Stay safe everyone.
@@edubbs3528 this exactly. I am leaving my mobile home as is safe, sane and ordered... But I will not clog the roads anymore than it's necessary... I'm moving inland... We can not evacuate an entire state
@@shortnessoftime8783 First of all it's "Mar-a-Lago", second of all I am more concerned about the general population, especially those who don't have the ability and or means to properly prepare and protect themselves over a billionaire and his toys! Get a grip on reality and stop this nonsense!
we cant all evacuate, the roads are packed. the ones who are mandatory evacuated are leaving. because of the traffic now, we are forced to stay . I also work with developmentally disabled. They cannot afford to leave and no way to get out. So we need to stay and make sure they are ok when its over.
@4:05 - man just when we thought things couldn’t get any worse, it’s going to rain hot pockets. Praying for everyone down there.
Life can always get worse. Only thing I’ve found that literally can’t be beat? Is having Fibrodysplasia and Scabies at the same time. Your body turns into a Living Statue you can’t move at all, and the scabies is a parasite digging tunnels through your flesh and the symptoms are Nonstop-able insane Relentless Itching that make’s Sleeping Impossible to do.
They need to accept that climate change exists. Unfortunately, too many church leaders in Florida are scammers who continue to spread disinformation about climate change.
I feel bad for the people who cant leave. But, the ones who chose to stay despite the danger because they think "it cant be that bad" I have zero sympathy for

Unfortunately, in Cape Coral, Fort Myers and Punta Gorda there’s still a lot of people still repairing from Ian. This is going to be a tough one I think
I’m in Kissimmee and have only been living in Florida for two months. Most of my stuff is still in boxes. What an introduction to Florida and a crash course in learning how hurricanes operate
@Carriesue1982 Dang, that sucks. Please be safe. I have family down there & their in the process of moving out of Florida. They are tired of things like this occurring plus the extreme heat.
Middle of Mississippi best decision I’ve ever made. Far enough from coast to avoid super powerful hurricanes, no earthquakes, no landslides, far enough south no blizzards. Also not in tornado alley!!
Great video! I love the climate of Florida and have been trying to talk my husband into moving to Florida. These storms obviously don’t make that easy especially this year. It’s really that being from WA state we are used to snow storms, -20 degrees, lightning storms, and fires. The educational way you explain the storm helps both my husband and I understand big storms like this. So, if we ever do ever make it to Florida for something more than vacation, it will be with a clear idea of what we are getting into and understanding how to prepare to be Floridians. We’ll keep watching! My thoughts are with the people of Florida this morning. They are resilient people and I know they will weather this with inherent strength just like always. ❤
Prayers for us in Florida. Be prepared and be safe. Evacuate if necessary and remember take care of each other. Pray for the best be prepared for the worst
My heart is just aching for those in the path. People still aren’t recovered from Helene…we need God’s hand of protection over our dear neighbors in harm’s way. Our hearts are with you
@@luthando13 I've thought the same way as you do I know where you're coming from. Used to be an atheist, only believed in science and the physical. I've learned I was wrong. So you're "God did this" isn't going to work on me. ❤️ ✌️
Survivor of Katrina here (Biloxi, ms) I'm praying for yall. I know it's easy to underestimate these storms especially after hearing these news ppl over hype and exaggerate every single tropical storm that comes our way but please take this one seriously. EVACUATE. Before it's to late. I know it's a headache. Inconvenient. Don't play. With your lives. Protect your family, kids, Elderly, pets. Get to safety while you can. When Katrina hit we lost so many ppl because we underestimated it. We got complacent hearing the news telling us to EVACUATE over and over again for every baby tropical storm that came thru.. by the time we realized we needed to EVACUATE it was to late. Don't make that mistake save yourselves. The security is well worth the inconvenience.
What do you do if you can't leave? Car broke down and don't have the savings or extra $ on hand it's almost impossible and I'm terrified.... 😢 No one to ask for help I'm an orphan this is impossible it's just me and my little dog... Pray for us ❤
@smmaker-smilez there are shelters in every area, if they have room or not I can't say but google your county and "emergency shelter" hopefully you can get in, if not try to find a parking garage and get above the 1st floor if you can, the higher the better (these things literally never fall in Florida, thats a sinkhole thing not a water surge thing...anyways) There also are some height maps for the state you can look at and just maybe you have a tall place in town you can go park somewhere tucked away, not near any trees but I know thats a lot to ask. Praying for you girl, we're sticking it out ourselves we are riverside so we're not sure what to expect. Godspeed!

You're the best at this. Good speaking voice and fluctuations are crystal clear. Gives facts without being overly dramatic. You'll be at half a million subs soon for sure!
Different people from different parts of the country, regardless of race, colors, nationality, religious affiliation, or sexual orientation, are on here sending prayers and best wishes to folks in Florida and others impacted. I can see and sense the genuine love and care from one human to another, but yet we allow politicians to tell us and make us believe that our neighbors are our enemies. At our core, we are good people, don't let nobody tell you different.
@@CountJeffula Prayers do work. Personally I’ve had my prayers answered numerous times. I’ve actually had a near death situation too at age 19. I am positive prayers work.
Yall already know Texas and Louisiana are prepped and ready to help out in Florida as well as NC… this is our time to put all the political bs and racial bs in the past and help fellow Americans
Max Velocity. Please address the misinformation spreaders in your comments. These people know exactly what they are doing and are making things far worse for everyone involved.
Others like Reed and Ryan have already done it, but Max seems to care more about the number of likes and comments that bring him viewership and thus money.
@ethanjoseph2474 eh true but as a floridan and a person in general it's hard to move, it's super expensive. It's becomes a choice of repair or take massive hits and chances leaving your job behind among other things. It's not super easy to just leave a place.
@@ethanjoseph2474 Everywhere has dangers and risks. Fires, earthquakes, volcanoes, tornadoes, flash flooding, blizzards. Even human-related dangers like crime, unrest, and war. Hurricanes are the easiest of those to forecast, predict, and track, and they give the most advance warning. We have building codes to ensure new homes are built to withstand at least category 3 - category 5 region, depending on the county. And finally, while I certainly do, not everyone *chose* to live here, nor does everyone have the means to move somewhere else.
I have folks from fema, if you haven’t applied for disaster assistance APPLY NOW. I know how everyone feels about them right now, but if you can at least grab some money and every penny counts, everyone needs to go for it. Be in the system now and by the time Milton hits maybe one can get an answer. Stay safe everyone 🙏
Great weather reporting. All the other on MSM channels is like watching a B Hollywood movie. Straight weather reporting again. Thank you. Concise and direct. Thx
He was streaming until 130 am last nite! But he promised this update and another live stream here a bit later when sh*t starts to get real! This could be a particularly treacherous storm!
Praying for Florida, please leave before its too late. America has suffered enough death & destruction please dont add to the death toll. Im in UK but have happy memories of Florida & im scared. God speed.❤🙏🏻
Please remember everyone. Florida is sand. All this rain causes trees and structures to lift up out of the ground. We've seen HUGE trees completely lift up and tumble over. So please, please be safe and God Bless to all of us in this terrible path of destruction.
We're staying in New Port Richey. Six miles inland, Zone E, brand new two story poured concrete home. Shutters are up. I'm born and raised in Pinellas county, I have never felt this sketched out before.
Praying for those on the west coast. I’m on the east coast in central Florida. We’ve gotten our supplies, gassed up the cars and my husband started boarding the house. Now we wait and pray 🙏
