Suicide king gives you items and stuff tho,plan c only kills the boss and even when you have something like dead cat or 9 lives it'll just reset the boss and you won't even get to enjoy killing the boss
Actually, you can kill Delirium with Plan C while having items which instantly revive you in the same room These are: - Lazarus' rags (works only for this character, since you will transform into him and get only his unlocks) - Inner child (Isaac transforms into a tiny baby upon death and deals damage to the enemies around him) -Tainted Lost's birthright (only this character, acts as an extra life, causes explosion after death and deals 200 damage to everything in close proximity) - Soul of Lazarus (this time works for all characters)

@@hopper8514 not necessarily Unlocking one tainted character is enough Let’s say, you’ve unlocked Tainted Eve, and you want to fight the Beast with her to get the mark, and the inner child will already be on the Home floor after you use the cracked key, Red Key, etc. on the same door
The sea scrolls I agree with but cursed eye can be really good especially with soy milk or the lost/tainted lost it’s a risk reward item it’s really good if you manage to not get hit when charging and plus you can shoot it even if it’s not fully charged and still get multiple tears out of it if you get black candle cursed eye is amazing since it gets rid of the teleporting effect
@@adrad It depends. There are a lot of items that benefit from having slow tears. Also, in this case, you don't have to worry about hitting the enemy or not since you have homing tears.
Dataminer truly shines with the funny rock (Rock Bottom) But you forgot to mention Blood Rights or whatever the active that looks like a straight razor is called
you still get stat downs with rock bottom, you just don't see them. but if you take a -1 dmg down with rock bottom, and then get a +1 dmg up, it literally does nothing
@@laurasstern0001wrong, the stat down doesnt apply and further more, it will be disipated next room, whereas the stat up wont. this means that eventually youll get +1 stat up in every stat which is not precisely what i call truly shining. however, multiple uses of datamining, or if you happen to underflow a stat can get p broken w rock bottom
I dont get the hate towards the Cursed Eye. Personally after the buff, this item is very good. However, cant help it but be disappointed to find it, with a 5.00 tear rate, because it would hinder me as oppose to help me. SO I think it COULD use a buff, so its all around helpful, with STILL being risk reward type of item. Basically, if you hit the cap of 5.00, you would get an extra shot and if you break the cap or get more tears up upgrades, you would get additional tear for your Cursed Eye. That way, despite you being maxed out, you can still pick it up and be better than ever, with STILL having the warping effect so it would have that risk reward factor to it. TL;DR: I think Cursed Eye is fine and being hated on, but cant help to give it a different buff so its useful when you have good tear rate.
I dont really mind Plan C. There isn't a single other active item in the game that'll be more useful against a final boss at its last phase. So if I'm already getting close to that boss or have an active that's not making much of a difference, I'd easily take it. If my goal is The Beast and ive already begun the ascent, what good is it gonna do me to keep something like Spider Butt, Void, or Pinking Shears? I'd rather guarantee my win just from killing the ultra horsemen.
I mean valid but at the same time the beast fight isn't really hard enough (unless you are having a really bad run and just trying to force it) to need plan c. If you got over the horsemen you can probably 1 phase the beast relatively easy. They definitely should make it so it can actually earn the completion marks for bosses people would want to use it for and not just 1 phase from the beast or mother. Edit: Spider butt is also unironically pretty goated against the horsemen.
Clicker isn't buggy, but your health gets set to half a heart if you switch to the lost.. cause the lost internally technically always has half a soul heart A switch into a different character won't undo it
I DESPISE rocket in a jar, I dont know if its just a me thing that I forget I have it just 0.004 seconds after picking it up but I ALWAYS take damage to it by running into a wall and using it thinking I have normal bombs, also the main idea is that you use your bombs(as rockets) offensively but unless you have the 99 bombs item or have a golden bomb for that floor its never worth it to use a bomb for that, honestly instead of it being activated by moving and using a bomb it should be by shooting and using a bomb that simple change would make it so much better
I dont get the hate on the glass shard item, its one of the best average items ive ever stumbled upon and its amazing for not only chip damaging bosses but also room clearing, if the hate comes from needing a heart to heal, just make sure you dont grab it with little to no hearts, since its very unlikely the item is not gonna drop you half a heart
To put it simply it's almost never worth the health drain, the rng on the heart drops are also just extremely inconsistent, it's medium reward high risk, ergo not worth taking. It's quality 1 for a reason. Also a lot of higher level Isaac is resource management wasting hearts that could've gone to a devil beggar or sac room, or blood donation machine can pretty much lose you a run
Bob's brain, BFF, and IBS are the worst items in the game. With clicker, dataminer, and plan C, you can just not use them. But if you start an eden run with any of these three items or pick them up on a blind floor you will take so much self damage from them activating at bad times and blowing up in your face that it ruins the run every time.
Bobs brain can at least be controlled, but bbf is just garbage. I would rather have a boom fly spawn in every room rather than have bbf (i think you meant bbf, bff is very good)
Clicker is genius if you're rigging with the lost or tainted cain , getting a genuinely god tier combo and getting the most broken items in the game then proceed to finish the run as the desired , most god forbid characters in the entire game, such as the moron brothers or the tainted lost . However , data dataminer is surely a terrible item , but i should try rock bottom on it and see if the stats stay up , giving free stats up for free .
@stefperb9531 exactly Just use tainted cain , get e.coli midas and aeres , get money , craft pound of flesh and restock , craft (holy mantle if you feel unsecure) then some mid stuff , craft clicker , become the lost , head to the nearest shop and voilà

My idea for less sicky Dataminer: No more negative stat changes on use. Upon use still flips sprites and grants an all stats up similar to sausage. However you don't get to keep it. It's 2nd ability is you can use it to see question mark pedestals at the cost of the chance to turn said pedestal into a tmtrainer item. But if you risk taking said item you keep the all stats up permanently.
You don’t fully have to charge it to get the multiple tears it’s amazing with tainted lost/lost and if you get black candle the teleporting gets nullified. And if you have soy milk it’s really good aswell
I had a jacob & esau run yesterday with everything jar on the beast. When I used it I got dataminer and died from rocks because the beast and rocks were sideways. R.I.P.
Dataminer's a really niche use item, but its niche uses (underflowing stats) is really helpful. You can go from 100 dmg and 1 tear to 99 dmg and 120 tears. Much more potential than like, any of the bean items.
I'd say Cube Baby, Lil' Portal, and Lil' Hushy. Cube Baby does pathetic damage in the exchange that you have to go really far out of your way to use it. Lil' Portal sucks up a ton of resources for just about nothing. Lil' Hushy is pretty much Distant Admiration, but it isn't relevant to the character and it has no strategy to utilize it
Curse of tower? I get this pretty often and with Glitter Bombs I get infinite items. With this plus sack head I got 99/99/99 and golden key and bomb in Depths 1 some days ago. With Pyromaniac you are virtually Immortal. With Sad Bombs you get hurt = everyone get hurt more With Host you just see the world burn. And with Safety Scissors you have infinite bombs (plus sack head, infinite items)
Dataminer is a pretty decent item and im sitll not really sure why people hate it so much... its not like its the best item but its not a bad item either
One time I had clicker without knowing it changed your items, I had an insane run and got a charge on clicker as soon as I picked up sacred heart, and then used it, and lost sacred heart😢
nah, get yourself a d20 on greedier mode, get a god run with R keys, blank cards, whatever you want and clicker then boom, you have an easy and fast way to farm the greed donation machine and unlocks for all characters
Plan C is merely just killing yourself I mean What if all of this is just in isaacs head And when isaac kills himself, the imaginary monsters die with him Which is why all monsters in the room die but isaac dies too

Clicker actually isn’t that bad. Especially when there’s not many characters unlocked. For example I only had 2-3 tainted characters, Lilith, and either Samson, azazel or both. All 3 are tainted variants btw. And using clicker I could get rid of any bad item and swap to another very good character.
Clicker is something i actually find EXTREMELY useful for not having to play as much greed mode. :3 Mainly cause it lets me fill the greed machine on a character that hasnt completed greed modeevery time i find it as isaac with a broken greed run (every Isaac greed run)
These are actives, just don’t use em There’s trash like Missing. No, TMTRAINER and The Wiz which are a great argument as to why blind is the worst curse
If I can be honest, my luck with clicker is godlike, I’ve gotten almost all the hard unlocks for t-eden and t-cain that way. It’s the only active I’m not mad at to see
If you beat a boss as one character, clicker, then walk into the chest [like in the clip], what does that give the clickered-to character? Like the Mother fight. If the fight ends w you as Isaac, you would get Isaac’s unlock w/o walking into the victory chest right? If you clicker then walk into that chest, does that register as a Mother kill for both characters since you walked into the chest Mother created?
Had a run where my stats were so dogwater that I unironically used Dataminer until a point I could remedy them. It’s better to use it in a cleared room, and even then it messed up my Range for like 3 floors. It unironically saved that run,
in Greed Mode, the item pools are small enough that as Isaac its very easy to force pretty much whatever item you want to spawn and get it. usually you can do this by forcing out a D20, and then from there once you have a D20 you can get every single item you want even if you don't have the D6 anymore. using the Clicker doesnt just let you get different completion marks in a Greed Run, but due to the way the jam chance on the Greed Donation Machine works, you can actually donate a lot more money in a single run on average this way as well.
By themselves, yeah, they are bad. But Dataminer + Rockbottom Plan C + Revive items Doesn't look that bad. And with clicker, if you have a character that's easy for you and you win with them almost every time, you can use this character + clicker to unlock achievements on other characters, yes, you need to be lucky with the character that spawns, but at the end of the day you can clear almost all achievements (in various runs) with just 1 character that you like to play and clicker.
I see few people mentioning Guillotine. How can a orbital with a good damage up be this bad. I am fine with cursed Eye, Bobs Brain even BBF and IBS. But the sheer disorientation I get from this item always manages it to screw me over.
place c sounds like a meme item to run with some friends to run when you got nine lifes and just saying I can beat mom faster than you... than get cursed out by a friend... but yeah I can totally see those items being trash for respectable reasons... but really bobs brain is horrible and is actively detrimental when you're not ready for it crude.
You forgot to mention the third ability of dat minor. It causes your tears to become random tears like divine light attacks, flaming tears, freezing tears that’s honestly what makes it good.
Call me crazy but I actually like Data Miner. It's pretty much an A tier item in greed mode because it makes it so that your tears have random effects (pretty much like rainbow cake) and it very often spawns coins, runes and cards which often makes it an instawin. Plan C also has it's very specific usescases but still pretty bad. Clicker is just straight up THE worst item in the game in my opinion.
Clicker is insane when you have already rigged, it lets you utterly breeze any character unlocks and unlock death certificate on your 5th run, especially with it being unlocked by default.
Plan C is nowhere near one of the worst items. It actually does something with Lazarus Rags or Inner Child The true worst items are the ones that make your run actively worse. Sure, Dataminer is bad, but you can _choose_ not to use it. Items like Missing No., on the other hand, will actively ruin a run
You can abuse Clicker by playing tainted Cain : First, you make a Classic tainted Cain crazy build Then, you craft a bunch of battery pack Then you craft clicker and you switch to a caracter that misses an unlock.
Honestly if I dont have an active and I see dataminer its a pick. That random stat up and down is the chaos I like. If I get a bad stat down idc I'm still trying. Its that good stat up I'm looking for.
Clicker has made doing greedier for all tainted characters a breeze. Just get op items, make a bunch of battery packs and start using clicker until you get to the character you need the greedier completion for
Totally not inspired by edmunds poll.... right.... And it feels like you picked some items from that poll and ignore it is about items that people want changes, not items that are "the worst".... Dataminer is good with rock bottom it's like a worse d8, you pretty much explained what clicker is supposed to do I don't think it's that bad an item, it's just you rarely ever want to use it and is a skip on most runs, and plan C is one of the coolest items if you have revives. With all due respect this video sucks.
No because rock bottom works in a way so you have a 2nd hidden line of stat's that still decreases basically say you use mega mush and get the huge dmg up, upon becoming small again ur in game shown stats keep the dmg from it but the hidden stats lower it back down, meaning to get higher dmg in the future you'd need to build up more dmg to pass over that cap, it's why if u take soy milk and start taking dmg ups it won't change ur dmg at all or not by much, since it still needs to basically play catch up to the shown stat's Technically ur correct, it won't lower them, but then dataminer becomes practically useless after 3 or 4 uses, and still harms the stat's granted by future items in the run
I’ve only once willingly used Plan C, and it was after defeating all the horsemen for the Beast fight. On my Dead God file I just saw it, and used it just to get it checked off lmao
I mean plan c sounds like it could be useful? I dont know about the charging cost cuz i never actually got it.if it doesn't use itself up you could get like judas shadow or something? And for multy phase bosses you could use like nuns hat or something to get alternative charge possibilities
Im surprised cursed eye wasn’t here. I can see it being useful but every time I get it it never synergizes with anything I have and makes the whole run dreadful. Especially against bosses.
My side note: Plan C is like that because I'm pretty sure it's part of the lore, since isaac hates himself and allat, when the player takes plan c, the boss dies because Isaac dies too. Just my theory and/or side note
Clicker, plan c and dataminer still have a use but did everyone just forgot about the jar that can only keep red hearts wich is completely useless with the lost, blue baby,t blue baby,t judas,t betany
One time I got the clicker as Isaac and so I used it changed into lazerus (I’m bad at spelling sorry) and then picked the D6 back up it was a really fun run
