Great video! Let's Go is always fun, but sometimes getting your target can be a pain! I think my Eevee took 4 or 5 other shinies before I finally got it.

It’s definitely one of the easiest games to get shinies in. Getting specifically your target is another story…

Great video as always!! May I ask why the living dex is at 152? Are you not counting mew since ya know, you can't get in I let's go Also just a suggestion but could you do a video on the pokeradar 17 chain method, I still don't understand it and you simplify explanations so well

The Dex is listed at 152 to include meltan and melmetal but not include mew. I might change it later on because I think you can technically get shiny mew from go into Let’s go. As for the 17 chain method for poke radar the reason people think it’s worth doing is because it’s way too hard trying to get a 40 chain in BDSP and a 17 chain is easy enough to get to while increasing your shiny odds enough to be most effective! But it’s all personal preference with how far you want to the chain to go!

I was so dedicated to getting a shiny vulpix to the point that when a shiny porygon sponed I reset over it, found the vulpix, it ran, I haven’t gone back

I keep Pokémon Lets Go separate from other main series games. I like to see it as it’s own challenge. When I finish Let’s go, I’ll just be done with it. However I’m currently going for a full Kanto shiny Living Dex across all other main series games and once I finish that, I will go for a full Living Dex of every generation! I also do hunt for other non gen 1 Pokémon on occasion

I'm so close to getting the shiny charm so i can finally shiny hunt! I only have a copy of Eevee at the moment so getting those Pikachu exclusives were tough!

My doing a shiny badgequest and right now im at 180 caterpies. Is it beat just keep on catcjing or reset route 2 north. I had a ahiny quickily despawn so patience is at a low.😅

Honestly for caterpie I’d recommend route resetting Viridian forest. There’s so many spawns there you’ll get shinies rather quickly! Good luck on your hunt!

So I’ve been trying to get Nidoran F, no shiny charm. I’m at 733 CC. I don’t know, Am I I’m at 1/315.54 or 1/2048.25? I’ve tried everything CC, ladder/door method and not a single shiny. I don’t know if I call it quits and finish the game since I’m only at 3 badges and get the shiny charm later on. It’s seems impossible since this is my first time shiny hunting. 😪

Well if you are continuing to catch the nidoran than the next spawn only will be the 1/315 chance. You need to then catch it to keep those odds for the next encounter. If you route reset, everything will simply be 1/2048

So what if I have to replenish at the poke-mart does that breaks the chain of 700+? Do I just come back and keep catching them to gain back the 1/315?

I took 600 magikarps to catch a 1/150 chances shiny magykarp

600 is a lot but you cannot get a 1/150 shiny chance in this game. Unless of course you’re referring to outbreaks in legends arceus

After 296 chain of Bulbasaur, I finally got it. However it's female.

Congrats on the bulbasaur! But what do you mean however it’s female? You’re making it sound like you didn’t want a female lol. For the starters, they have a 1/8 chance to be female as opposed to a 1/2 like most other Pokémon so female shiny starters are extremely rare! On top of that female venusaur has a bud coming out of the top of the flower and it looks cool! I think it’s so cool you got a female one!

Been hunting for a female Eevee in these games just for the 1/8 odd flex, and I’m at over 900 caught, easily at 2000+ seen, and I only have a single male shiny to show for it

Yeah That’s how I feel right now with kadabra but even kadabra is only a 1/4 chance! Hopefully you can get yours soon! It’s too bad cute charm isn’t a thing in these games
