Yes.... Exactly this happened on our last evening together. I was so enjoying the evening. We had been out with family (mine) and i was feeling good. Singing along a bit with the radio. Then he came to distroy my good feelings asif i was not allowed to feel good... And then he went upstairs. Angry with me. Went to bed. Another silent treatment. That's when i knew it was over. I went to my place. I lived (still live) next door. The hard period of untangling began. It took me a long time, very long. Push pull... It drove me crazy. More silent treatments... I started reading about narciscism.... Went in therapy. Now i am free again 😊 He still lives next door. Now he has a relationship with the lady that lives on the other side of me 😮😂 What a soap....
He hated to see me happy. He couldn’t understand the closeness I had with old friends and my children. I am a huge goofball and love to laugh. It took a long time to retrieve that part of myself. I think it was that personality trait that attracted him. But who really knows. They make no sense

I'm a newer, improved, educated, resilient, awakened, stronger version. Going through the Narcissistic relationship has opened my eyes to so much, its unbelievable.
I was so happy, doing my worship flags with the grandchildren. The grandchildren were clapping and enjoying our time together. We were so happy! It felt like I was in heaven. Then, Boom, Narc went into a rage fit! Screaming, yelling and making false accusations. Children then started crying. I was crushed. But, God has me in the palm of His hand. I have moved on. This video is 100% correct.
When I saw the covert narcissist I told him things that had happened because I didn't want him to mess it up for me. But I'm over that creature now. The first 🚩flag was pretty much it for me.
You know with time you simple ignore that person. I did and yes they always get very angry... Just let them. I am a relaxing person and nobody can force me to things I don´t want. It is that simple. You have to set boundaries and say no and you will get rid of such a person. And you will be glad because you don´t need such an energy vampire in your life.

I have the same way,trying to not share too much soon. I shared with narcissists but it's rare, it's not projects they can copy and they can't access. I have A to E plan nobody knows exactly details and some are secrets. I tell about some dreams,simple goals. I can cross activities. Poker face is good against envy, it looks like some good sigma's defense. A pleasure to be disliked, the kindest is sometimes the wildest.
Mine has sign that said, “They whisper in your ear that a storm is coming”, and her reply was “I am the storm”. She loved that sign and I am sitting here thinking, why would you want to be known as the storm in anyone’s life?
The wife found her favorite saying that was placed on a sign at a craft show. “If mama isn’t happy, no one is happy.” That was her motto and she lived it. Her mission in life was to make everyone as miserable as her. After ten years, she left us.
