Yeah but he totally could’ve been lied to until he saw it then if he didint wanna do it the blonde dude I forgot his name could just force him to with his hatsu
It’s not like kurapika’s nen would kill him. It’s nowhere near Gon’s residual nen. And people forgets that Abengame is a master in his nen category so it must have been a piece of cake for him.
@@NeilsonBuntowa i think there are limitations on Shalnark and his ability to manipulate. I think he can't manipulate someone else nen like he does with the body
i always feel bad for Neon until i remember that she collected human body parts on the black market, and that her losing her ability was entirely her fault.
@@jamescuttler8047 and she only met this man at the auction because she ignored Kurapika and her father's warning abt not going to the damn auction cuz people were literally dying there, but she still sneaked away from Melody, got in the car of a stranger and set off She trusted Chrollo, a man she met 3 hours before, more than Melody who was protecting her for days at that point, all because she wanted dead people's body parts 💀
I mean she was raised by a crime family and was collecting parts from people who were ALREADY dead. She wasn’t harvesting people for parts😂 Killua being a remorseless assassin from childhood should give you more pause if neon’s odd collection really bothers you so much
Abengane is probably still alive and well. There's still no confirmation on the condition of his ability but if we base from the bomber incident. His nen beast is probably just vibing with him...probably forever if Chrollo is still alive
In this case I don't get his ability. He can only use it once? Or can he summon more than one worm? I always guessed it would "consume" the curse after some time, and he would be free from it. It is weird he would thin nen, if it is like this youtuber says.
@@ambience273 I'm guessing that it would stay as long as the restriction was lifted through conditions such as what happened to bomber or, in this case, if Kurapika lifts it off himself. He probably limited it to one since having multiple copies would make the effect weaker if we follow the logic of nen.
@@monke3443 Wouldn't make it weaker, it would just make it take longer because his own nen has to cancel out the curses nen sort of like filling up a bucket, if you try to fill up two buckets at once your attention will be divided amongst both but you'll still be pouring out the same amount and ca still choose what bucket you want to finish filling first unless you try to do both at the same time for whatever reason but then you're stuck carrying 2 buckets around even longer... If he finds another client that's paying well and it's a curse he can dispel in like 2 days he'd probably take that job and focus all his nen on dispelling that one first before trying to get rid of kurapika's curse again... No reason he should be limited to a single one except for not wanting to be dogpiled by massive bugs.
@@DrakeOola nope. Nen has more powerful effects the more restricted the ability is. Abengane can almost perfectly dispel a curse because he limited the effect which makes his worms visible to others. That's also why he can't deploy multiple worms at the same time. Take a fellow nen exorcist from Benjamin's faction during succession war, for example. It's also a powerful ability that can completely devour someone's nen ability. But in exchange, he has to know the true nature of the ability like the effects and such. If he fails, it might kill him. And also, he can't get clues from others. He should find it out himself
@@monke3443That's why I love Nen so much man, it's so complex and is an insanely smart power system. I'm glad that pretty soon we will have new chapters since Togashi has started to get back to making more chapters 😊
Especially considering from Melody’s telling of the story she became horrendously and painfully disfigured to the point of death by that movement they played, hell the show barely had the balls to show Melody’s arm fully and that tells a lot about how worse Senritsu likely had it
Now I understand why it was implied that JJK is heavily inspired from H x H. This is the place where Gege mastered his offscreen cursed technique to butcher Gojo.
@@bloody4558 Hand signs. The whole team of three. Gojo is basically a redesign of Kakashi. The nine tailed fox is like Sukuna in the main character. Academy for teaching powers.
@@bloody4558 The moody secondary main character who has black hair. There's probably more. But, I've onky watched 5 episodes now. And, it's surprising how many similarities I already found.
I'm almost 100 percent sure hisoka killed her. she died after hisoka became serious about killing the spiders. hisoka killed shalnark and kortopi after saying defeating chrollo while allowing him to prepare for the battle was a little too hard. that means he isn't gonna allow chrollo to prepare anymore and killing neon would stop chrollo from knowing when next fight would be.
If you think about it, it was so stupid of Chrolo to let go neon like that, knowing that she could be killed at any moment (she is the daughter of the mafia). If Chrollo had been smarter, he would have taken Neon with him and kept her captive, because the ability to see the future is a cheat code and most likely Chrollo’s strongest nen.
There's some possible outcomes with Neon. The first possibility is that when Kurapika put the Chain in Chrollo's heart, because he is unable to use Nen, all the Nen abilities he had stolen would be released. And Neon could have take it back. This is highly improbable because of what we know of the York New Arc aftermath. it's second possibility is that Daddy Nostrade hired a Nen exorcist to release his daughter curse. He has connections, and was very rich by the time of York New. All his fortune was thanks to Neon so he would go even beyond to restore her ability. Kurapika would help too to take away that ability from Chrollo. The third is that Neon is dead, either Kurapika, his father, Hisoka or even herself take her life. Other possibility is that Chrollo just released Neon's Nen ability, for whatever reason. Very improbable too. It's also possible that Chrollo lied and he still has Neon's ability.
The most likely scenario is the third. The first is nigh impossible since the book is a separate object (similar to a nen beast) that records a nen ability to reuse it. The second one just doesn't make sense. What curse are you talking about? Her nen beast is her ability and the father would never sacrifice his cash cow. The most likely scenario is Hisoka killed her to remove the ability from the book or Kurapika killed her since she is one of the people who selfishly took his people's eyes.
@@manporo5865 The one where Nostrade hires a Nen exorcist is possible too. After all, taking an ability is some kind of curse. In Nen there's no "perfect" exploit. No Nen ability is invincible. And if Chrollo could free himself from Kurapika's Chain with exorcism, Neon can also recover it with help. So Chrollo's ability is a curse because he impose a restriction on you, so that means it can be exorcised. It's also possible that they induced medical death into Neon stopping her heart, so the ability was erased from Chrollo's Book, just to be medically resuscitated shortly after. That way Neon would have her ability back and Chrollo would think Neon is dead. Anyway I think there's a lot of possible outcomes yet to be discover. I love Togashi's writings and he always go with something unexpected.
The second theory is hard to support because Light used a massive part of his fortune to secure the scarlet eyes. He was confident in Neon's abilities so at the time he didn't care, he saw her as a way to make more money. After the auction when her powers were gone Light was distraught asking Kurapika what he should do since he lost everything.
@@ce666isa3 can't tell really. If you look at the last time he opened his X account, he released the chapters by December that year (he also started posting around May at said last time), but, this time, he is already at 405 so it might be early.
@@themachoechidnaugandarandy7583 it wasn’t a hiatus, the writer just wanted to prioritize the story of the manga and wanted to finish it firsthand before anything else
@robertduggan4617 so all those are personal feelings . He doesn't need to kill her to get the eyes back and he would have killed her much earlier if he wanted to . He didn't need to some how off screen her
@@Sleepingcoffee979 yeah but it also stated in the first place the only reason he was working with them was to find the spiders. Once he( to his own knowledge) actively neutered to their boss he didn't care anymore and just wanted his Clans eyes back. If the only way to get the eyes was to kill her he very likely would have
I dont think she killed herself as she didnt seem to care that much it was most likely Hisoka or her father cause he went crazy. i feel like it was 100% Hisoka but I like the thought that out of anger her father killed her
Abengane is probably alive chilling somewhere with the money he got paid with. The troupe and Hisoka are bad people but they can still respect sone norms. They made a deal with Abengane so I don't think he is dead
lol for sure Abengane is pretty much the only exorcist nen user that work with them normally, no way in hell they could kill such a great asset for them, Hisoka included. :s
@@bowie3503Yea no, Hisoka is a bad dude. Somebody that goes around fighting and maiming/killing people just because he finds it fun and wants a challenge is the opposite of a good person lol. Alot of his kills were more than likely just people minding their own business.
Togashi just seems to like killing characters when he's done with them. A whole smorgasboard of named characters bit the dust in the Chimera Ant arc in glorified cameos.
I fumed at Ponzu and Pokkle's deaths. Yeah, Kite's death was tragic but bee girl and archer boi's deaths were just sad and painful to read/watch. Besides, Kite got reanimated.
Bad writing honestly IMO, feels like hes trying to make the story into a tragedy without involving main characters. Just makes you feel disconnected and unattached to anyone who isnt named Gon, Killua, Leorio, or Kurapika. At least thats how i feel.
I mean shes obviously dead and the main reason she was protected was for her power which she lost so her father likely Went broke and couldn't pay debts so they both probably died gruesome deaths being im the mafia and all ☠️
99% sure neon just lost her powers because of chrollo breaking the supposed nen contract of never looking at told fortunes, as from what I’ve seen we just see that she can’t use them anymore but is still alive
Not sure but was it not implied that Neon killed herself or due to her losing her powers, everything went south for their family that led to her demise somehow.
we saw abengane touching and say "i caught the bomber" and then the nen beast vanishing. Edit: no, seriously. What fucking show are ALL of these top comments watching? Its fucking ridiculous to see the same wrong comments all over this post. He fucking lived AND got rid of the nen beast. It. Was. Animated. Into. The. Fucking. Show.
They are not talking about the pet that ate the bomb. Obviously, when he removes kurapika's seal from chrollo's heart, another "worm" has to eat it and therefore this new pet is still with him until kurapika dies.
Neon is still alive. Kurapika used his new nen ability where he drains the aura of a person, an "Anti Chrolo" ability which is why he said "he will take care of everything" Then again it's just a theory, an ANIME THEORY! lol. I just saw this theory, but it sounds really convincing.
I'm confident Hisoka killed neon. That ability gave chrollo an advantage of knowing the future. He hates the spiders and no longer cares about fair fights
I feel like Abengane could still be alive either. 1: The curse just goes back to the original host if Abengane dies. 2: The Curse/Lil momster then latches on to another person if Abengane dies until the contract is finished. 3: he might still be alive due to Kurapika not sensing his ability disappearing, it may still be with Abengane as "active"
Neon didn't get kidnapped or anything like that. Neon would've probably suicided as she felt her dad hates her because her ability doesn't work and so over the stress she decided to suicide to get out of this world.
I don't think Abegane is stupid enough to take on a curse that would kill him. The Nen-beast doesn't really hurt him it's just an Annoyance he has to carry around. That's assuming he doesn't have a more permanent way to get rid of the Nen-beast because it seems like he wants to do exorcising his full time profession
You know kurapika may have a flaw with his nen lock ability. And that could be the possibility of death undoing it. Say like hisoka for example. Chrollo killed him but bungie gum started his heart up again. So in theory his vow to not reveal kuripaka abilities may not be enforced by death anymore
Wait! The cease to be human thing. Those are some pretty specific words also used by Tserreidnich’s Spirit Nen Beast guardian thing. Wonder if it’s somehow a calamity also?
Neon is probably dead but maybe Lovely Ghostwriter had a condition that if the user read their own predictions the ability goes away. She said that if she read her predictions she felt like they would be less accurate but since she was a nen prodigy and not someone formally trained it seams reasonable to think that her feeling stemmed from a condition she subconsciously placed on her ability.
Chorollo lost that ability might be because he heard what he writes from that ability, and that was breaching the contract to that so it might be the cause.
The spiders seemed honourable people, so I guess Abegane is alive, living in a mansion alongside Kurapika's curse that is gonna take 1-2 years to disappear.
The requirements for chloro to steal the nen of others was not perfectly met, and kurapika played the role of bringing her nen back to her, reason why it disappeared to him(chloro)
@@DarkZomayes its a little more extreme but she’s kinda just like those girls with obsessions over stuff like slasher films, serial killers and other stuff like that. basically just most things that involve violence or gore
You got abengane wrong tho, he doesn't create a worm-like creature. The nen-beast his power creates depends on the nen he is trying to exorcise, in the case of genthuru's bomb it was a wormlike nen-beast. Edit: it even says so in the panel your editor chose to put in the short
I wanna remain optimistic i think neon is still alive and maybe one of kurapika's powers is actually able to maybe seal away a persons nen permanently...or its just oversight on the author who knows never really been confirmed
I actually feel the worst for Neon because she didn't really understand the world of nen that she walked into. She was doomed as soon as yorknew arc started cause she was too trusting & didn't understand the impact crollo was gonna have on her life. She didn't even understand her own abilities. Just a kid with a gift who probably died due to that gift.
The neon one is not confirmed. She could have gotten her ability back, or its possible that she is dead, but its not confirmed. And as for Abengane, I doubt the phantom troupe would really torture their only hope of removing the nen off of chrollo.
The last we see of Abigane was he and hisoka were walking up to chrollo who was reading jump magazine, also the phantom troupe can’t be there because if they contact Chrollo he would have died due to kurapika’s condition.
I always had the impression that Neon killed herself due to having lost her ability and therefore the change in her world (the whole fortune of his father came from using neon's prediction)
I don’t feel bad for Neon. She literally cared nothing for human lives and her Dad was no different. They were MOB boss and Daughter, they got their fate. She didn’t care who died until one of her personal friends cried over her bodyguards death. She was also super spoiled and bankrupted her family. I could see her Dad losing his mind over those Kurta eyes vanishing, when Kortopi’s nen stopped working on them. All that money for nothing.
This has happened since the beginning of humanity and it happens with all types of entertainment and works of art, even with American TV. From mythological stories, tragedies, literary works, the protagonists tend to be young since it is the age where the greatest and most notable changes in body and mind are experienced. Biologically as a society it also makes sense since the older generations are limited to supporting the young. Since the 90s this has only gotten worse because every day youth is idealized more, being fashionable, the fear of growing up and with social networks it is even worse.
I guess she was killed by kurapika, directly or not, because he woudnt let her die as he is her bodyguard and too competent at this, and he woudnt let the ability to see future in chrolos hands
I’m pretty sure he, “caught the bomber”, steam rolls out his coat. Signaling the deactivated nen. Then went and made a couple million to do the same for the spider boss
I dont think the girl died, i think that chrollo after taking her ability. Broke her nen condition of not reading the fortunes herself, there by breaking the contract and dispelling her ability
Neon likely got killed by hisoka tbh. Hisoka knew of her existence and she posed a large threat to him by virtue of giving chrollo the ability to predict hisoka to a degree.
I dont think neon is dead i think we're gonna see her alive and get the reveal her fortunes cant be changed only postponed and that the spider's set for death are doomed
I think it's safe to assume that Hisoka is probably the main suspect in Neon's supposed death since he knew about Chrollo having stolen the ability and having the subsequent fight in Heavens arena 😅.
In other words, Togashi sensei probably didn't want to work on those characters anymore, so they must go. Because too many characers to work on can be tiring.
I really like this ED of the reAnimation of Bartender. So relaxing like the Anime. I thought the voice waa so familiar. Now I know why. Really good song.
I thought with neon it was most likely that she committed suicide from the depression that she would have had due to the failure would have occurred after her and her father lost everything. That or they were assassinated or even worse the dad could have killed her in frustration. Overall bad but I thought it was most likely suicide
Well, the last person got rid of the curse after touching the bomber at the end of Greed Island ark, and he went with the phantom troupe to release the seal on chrollo's nen and i believe he's alive. Corresct me if im wrong because it was shown at the end of the ark.
