He kept comparing side fighters to arena fighters, said that dragon ball is stagnant when it has: side fighters, arena fighters, card games, mobile games, story driven and they only thing they havent really done(to my knowledge) is a visual novel. They even had that one thing in xenoverse where u could obtain figurines and use them for turn based combat. @@iransilva5857 Not how it works my dude. Lol Fighterz is Arc System Works, they are the only ones who can and will make the sequel. They are an independent studio and are hired to do a job, they are not working on Dragon ball titles day to day.

These productions are discussed and paid for years in advance. Fighterz 2 will have been bought already just Arc sys are busy making their own titles. You couldn't be more wrong on this taking the place of Fighterz 2 or it taking resources away form it. Just remember the last arena fighter was Xenoverse 2, 8 years ago.

As someone who never plays online, im so sick of every game needing to be "balanced" why cant i just have fun and play op characters, i dont need yamcha or a saibaman to be able to beat gogeta on an equal playing field

Liked the way you criticized the video, no unecessary hate just debate, i do try to understand where the guy is coming from tho, the majority of the dbz games are focused on the battles and he wants something different (he gave the worst possible example with the baseball), but the thing is, the dbz community literally has every single type of game genre, and ALL of them found good/great sucess, we have story game kakarot (one of mine if not my favorite), card game, mmo (two even), arena fighter, "arcade" fighter, jesus the xenoverse 2 mmo even has a tabletop mini-game within itself, sparking imo is the PERFECT game wee needed, a fresh way to play the story with the different outcomes, customizable levels like mario maker (wich i think its the revolutionary thing for the game imo), and best of all... THE CHARACTERS ARE TRUE TO THEIR STRENGHT, im a bit sick of games trying to "balance" all characters, lets just have fun with silly ideas, and they did even balance the ranked in sarking zero with the dp, like... there is no way this game is gonna get bad reviews, the only thing people will criticize is optimization/lag or bugs.
I'm just happy I don't have to play FighterZ anymore. XenoVerse 2 is still... something even tho XenoVerse 3 is long overdue. So Sparking Zero definitely gonna carry the load for a long time
As much as people think Gameology is rate baiting. People actually argue with me as an avid fighting game player that tenkeichi is a fighting game and as much as I love both things they are very different and I genuinely like the fact you know the difference. It's like just be happy we are finally getting what's practically Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi 4 a game we have been waiting for almost 17 years. Obviously they changed it to Sparking Zero and that's the title of the Dragon Ball game. However it's practically the sequel to Budokai Tenkaichi 3. The dude should just be happy that we finally have a sequel to what is probably the most popular Dragon Ball title. And when this game came out yesterday I played it for hours. At this point I'm still finding nothing completely wrong with it. I'm absolutely loving the game. 😂

Totally don’t agree with 99% of what he said, but what he’s saying for the variety is more the style of the basic move sets. The characters are all similar. Think of it like this, in a game like street fighter, switching from one character to the next is pretty hard for a newish player. They’re all pretty different in a lot of ways aside from a few. But it’s way easier in a game like this. Which is fine, cause it’s different. But I see what he means. I wouldn’t have minded a bit more depth to the moves.
