Just got the iPhone 14 Pro Max, previous phone was the iPhone 8+ so for me personally it’s been a night and day difference in terms of upgrades and specs so I love it, I definitely suggesting waiting 3-4 years before upgrading phones to make it a significant upgrade for yourself
I sell it every year about a month before the new one gets announced. Why keep a phone with a degraded battery and pay 1K every 3-4 years instead of selling it and getting about 90% of the money back and put it towards the new model
Agreed! I just went through for my upgrade from 8 plus as well. Looking forward to receiving it. 8 plus served me very well but excited for the upgrades! Will miss my red color though
to sum it up, the phone is packed with features that consume more battery, however, the 3200mah battery can't keep up with these features and will result in maybe around 7hrs of battery life which isn't bad but it should be more.
14 pro is my first iphone. Then i get airpods pro gen2, ipad 10th gen and apple watch series 8. Now im addicted to apple product. Switching from entry level adroid which is oppo a5 2020 give me indescribable experience.
That's the thing. Most android users buy crappy android phones and say they don't perform well. Then sell their kidney for apple devices and say that it's an amazing experience. Android and IOS are 2 different operating systems Nowadays Android devices are more or less on par with the iphone when it comes to performance (I'm not talking about geekbench, just daily normal routines) The only difference is Android is open source has more customization and actually gives users control IOS is closed, restricted and does not give their user control
@@serktv6231 bruh. Of course it is amazing experience. I used oppo a5 2020 before got this iphone. From entry level android to flagship iphone is a big jump. What do you expect people to say? And luckily still got pair of my kidneys with me.
There is no reason for a video like this. I love my 14 PRO. Before this, i had the iPhone 5S, iPhone XS, iPhone 12, iPhone 13 Mini and now this masterpiece. I love every part of this phone. The 120Hz bright OLED, the speed of this phone and the premium look and feel. I do not mind the money for the quality.
@@Thatgirlwhoisobbsessedwithnoob It depends on your needs. You get 120Hz refresh rate on yoyr screen. If you don’t care for this and you are not a power user or big gamer, you won’t use the added processing power. I only got the 14 Pro because of the battery life. There are videos where the non Pro is getting more hours of on time, but in my own opinion i got most of the Pro. At work i make many calls, emails and messages, so i need the battery to last me for the day. If this is not you, then stick with the non pro version as it is much lighter and it holds better in your hand.
If you don’t have it by now there’s literally no point, just wait for the 15 and get the one big feature that everyone wants and has been waiting WAY too long for, USB -C.
I got it a week or so ago and I love it. I needed a phone now so I got it, why wait. I bought my xs max a month or two before the 11 released, couldn't care less about the 11. Couldn't care less about the 15 atm
"wait for the iPhone 15 in a few months"- 14 pro review "wait for the iPhone 16 in a few months"- 15 pro review "wait for the iPhone 17 in a few months"- 16 pro review youtubers like this guy will never understand what an iPhone is.... LOL.. i love honest reviews... yes the battery life is bad... maybe more features and bigger battery might come on the next one.. how long you gonna wait... in the 15's video you will say "you get all this for cheaper in a 14 pro".. dislike!
Had my 14 pm for about 2 months so far so good it's a beast I love it the camera is fantastic so is the battery life with my usage I wish the island did more like have more notifications like messaging social media etc
Using 14 Pro from 3 months! And I am fully satisfied with it. Awesome battery life, Performance is best for sure and the camera is the part which I loved the most but dynamic island is still restricted like we still got some animations of calls, charging etc but It is not been used to its full potential as it can also be used in notifications it will look so cool man. Overall best phone I have ever used😊
@@xm6677 but I’m not talking about a notch or an obstructed screen am I? It’s got nothing to do with the design, it’s to do with the software. I’m talking about an “always on display”
it’s got a special display that can do down to 1Hz refresh rate. If they put always on display on older iphones the battery would sink like a rock in a couple hours.
Should I trade in my iPhone 13 Pro Max and get the iphone 14 pro max before the trade in value drops even lower when the iphone 15 comes out? Apple used to have it at $750 and now its trade in value dropped to $650
I’ve had no issues with the 14 pro battery. And yea I’m an average consumer and yes I want that screen. It’s the best screen on any phone I’ve ever owned. And I also own a s22ultra.
@@larry-of9kh to each his own. Was using android since 2017. All Samsung phones. But now it’s iOS. I don’t see myself going back to android anytime soon.
The worst thing about this phone are auto enhancements while , taking pictures, the orginal photo which comes after the shot is being auto enhance , which is very irritating.
@@Rayanmoideenkutty 👎🏾. Nah brother. Everyone already knows the the 13 Pro Max has better battery life, and that’s okay. iPhone 📱 14 Pro Max and the whole series was skip worth to be honest.
@@ciexll It’s not. It’s be proven by several people. The iPhone 14 Pro max was a good phone, not great. Henceforth, why millions of people skipped it 🤷🏽♂️. The iPhone 15 Pro Max will be something very special!!!
Cons AOD not as good as Samsung when you can choose how the AOD works Dynamic Island is useless. Doesn't change the experience for using the phone Monster chipset but I just feels wrong when I playing a game with 14Pro. Too small. Should buy Promax if you want hardcore games BUT this is Iphone. You get best experience for almost apps. Also there is no shutter lag. Very good for photo animals if you have pet.
Mate, how are you getting 6-7 hrs screen on time on your 13, I barely get 6 hrs. Battery health at 95% after 1 and a 1/2 year with software 16.4.1 running on it😢
Really going to depend on what you do on your phone. Safari, games, and camera are three apps that for me seem extra draining on the battery (while fb/ig etc seem to barely drain it). I am an extremely heavy user, screen on time is often 10-14hrs on my 13 Pro. I am home though so I can charge throughout the day, but I do squeeze out 5-7hrs of screen on time without charging most times. Battery health currently at 88%. I use max brightness only when outside or watching videos, sometimes scrolling ig to see photos better. No auto brightness for me, all manual. Wifi drains far less battery than LTE and 5g as well, another reason being home so often benefits my screen on time. Currently on iOS 14.4.1 as well. I keep location/gps off at all times unless truly needed. Vibrate stays on for ringer. No haptic feedback on my keyboard (or sounds). Bluetooth off at all times. Those are the settings that I can think of that may affect battery life
i think the 13 is the best iphone to buy for me that coming from iphone 11 pro max. there's not to much pro feature on the 14 pro for me as a photographer that has a better mirrorless camera
if u are a photographer u need a PRO phone. And 13 pro and 15 pro are more expensive than 14 pro. So the best for u will be 14 pro. The camera on 11 pro max is better than all the normal Iphones. I would have said buy iPhone 13 pro but as it is not being sold from apple anymore the price has skyrocketed so buy the 14 pro
@@abdullahiomar20 sorry, i already having a sony a7iv, samyang 24-70 f2.8, voiglander 35 f1.4, and mitakon 50 f0.95. its enough for me for taking professional quality photos and videos🙏
still think the notch looks better ..well not better as in better.....;) that dynamic island looks like a pill cut out the Samsung s10 had but now in the centre maybe its me but I think it looks worse it looks plonked into the display now.
i am tech enthusiast and i will be getting this one and coming from s20 5g this 2.5 times better batery life doesent seem so bad hahhah i get like 3.5 hours of screen time on mine and im used to it so i guess i will be happy with 14 pro
If you weigh fashion more than price-performance ratio , I would recommend the 14 pro since the dynamic island design will last for several years but the notch design of the 13 pro will start to be obsolete as the notch era fade away. Also get the 14 pro if you like to take photos since it’s camera has a huge upgrade, 48mp vs 12mp On the contrary 13 pro is a better option if you weigh the price more since the performance of the 13 pro and 14 pro is very closed
Keep the iphone 11 , because there is not that big of difference between the 11 and 13 . Maybe buy a 13 pro from the used market , because it’s way better value
I completely agree. I have the 14 pro max. The main selling point for me was just the battery life. The island is just a distraction that won’t go away and the camera is overly complicated. The lack of a home button still annoys me. I still have my worn torn 7 plus. I pick it up and use it as a mini mini iPad on Wi-Fi and think to myself god I miss this phone.
Here are all the technical specifications: www.apple.com/ca/iphone-14-pro/specs/ The 14 pro has a 2556‑by‑1179 pixel screen to be exact, which is close to 1440p :)
@@imSpixel it’s close but not exactly 1440p, it’s 1179p. It is close to 1440p but yeah not exactly a native 1440p resolution. I’m still waiting for the day Apple finally puts native 1440p in their phones because the 13 Pro Max and 14 Pro Max still don’t have 1440p they just have a really high 1080p display that’s sorta in the middle between 1080p and 1440p. I’d love an iPhone with 120 hertz and 1440p so that’s why I’m holding off using my XS Max that I’ve been using since Fall 2019.
@@plasmaaxis356Resolution is irrelevant. The Pro iPhones have a PPI of 460. That’s all that really matters. Resolution is only a number without the context of screen size.
Good but overrated. A good Android midrange is a better value. Most iPhone just don’t use their flagship at max. 13 Pro was the phone to buy: this. 14 Pro is not a smart buy.
I just got the space black iPhone 14 pro about two weeks ago. I’ve been having a lot of glitches. My screen would freeze a lot, the camera wouldn’t focus, and some pictures had random black streaks. I reset all the settings and haven’t had that many glitches. I don’t know if this is normal or if I should be concerned.
That does not sound normal, I would go to the seller and speak to them about those issues. It can have some defect. A phone this expensive can, in no way, have those kinds of issues out of the box.
Average consumer don’t buy pro iPhones… if you want top spec phone then get the pro max. Otherwise you end up with a phone that cost high with the performance being average like the phone your review ling
14 plus is the worst one! Sold it and shifted to 14pro. 14 plus feels like 12/13 nothing new or special, camera is the same like 12/13. It’s literally feels cheap in hand because of the big size with more gap inside
The worst thing is the iPhone 14 pro max and the crapshoot iOS 16 I got so pissed off I threw it out the window driving on the freeway 405 in California a week ago so much for a 14 pro max 1 tb deep purple and worth the loss and got a Samsung s23 ultra after 10 years of apple I’m done apple sucks
Most of the people want dynamic island and an extra camera just to show i have iphone 14 pro thats all🤪 and most of the poeple also dont care about the feature they just want to buy and show off that apple symbol. Only a minor diff bt iphone 14 and the pro but apple charge huge amout for that simple feature. Just wait for 15 i hope its better than this make it worth apple.
