How much easier if a time would Bryce have in Carolina, had the Panthers just kept CMC & Moore, and traded/signed a Kyle Shanahan disciple?! It’s not hard to see Bruce Young taking a couple years to look like a competent player in that Tua type of mold if he has a solid supporting cast around him, but they traded proven talent for lottery picks. Look at how nice it is for Brock Purdy to play with guys like CMC and Deebo? Now imagine if Deebo was 6’2?! I’ve always liked our guys Aiyuk & Deebo, but ofc I’d still be happy if SF had DJ Moore instead of Deebo and/or AJ Brown instead of Aiyuk. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to transition to a new era, and keeping your elite 26yo MVP-caliber dual threat/do-it-all running back at least as a safeguard for your rookie QB.

I’m a panthers fan. What I don’t think people understand is CJ has one of the best O-lines in football and we have like a bottom 3 O-line. That alone makes me realize that I don’t think CJ would be balling like this on our dumpster fire of a roster 😭😭😭

This is no were near the worst trade ever… my team the VIKINGS to this day still hold that record, when the VIKINGS traded a bunch of good draft picks to DALLAS for HB HERSCHEL WALKER. WALKER was a bust for the Vikings and the cowboys ended up drafting EMMITT SMITH, DARREN WOODSON & RUSSELL MARYLAND

An Offensive Line is a group of men who assemble on the line of scrimmage in a row which one snaps the ball to the quarterback and blocks while the other 4 lineman block for the QB as he drops back to make a pass.

As a life long Panthers fan I totally agree this is up there with the Herschel Walker trade that built the Cowboys dynasty. We should’ve either drafted CJ Stroud or stayed put @ #9. Ownership pushed for the # 1 pick which was great but we had to give up too many assets including DJ Moore. We basically gave up CMAC , DJ Moore, 2023 #9 pick. 2024 # 1 pick, 2025 2nd round pick. All for Bryce Young.

As someone who thought CJ Stroud was the better QB out of the two coming out of the draft (still believe that).. I think it's unfair to compare someone who is IMO in the MVP race this year as a ROOKIE, being CJ Stroud and someone who doesn't have a great o-line and someone that just isn't on a good team and the organization isn't good either, being Bryce Young. I say give Young time and he will be really good

The panthers were so close to completing a rebuild, until we traded for the number #1 overall pick and hired Frank Reich instead of Steve Wilks. If we had drafted CJ Stroud then our rebuild would’ve probably been complete. Instead we have to restart our rebuild because we just had to get Bryce Young

Aaron Rodgers is right. People do need to pump the brakes on this whole Stroud/Young thing. People are making this out to be Sam Bowie/Michael Jordan 2.0 and it's just way too early to see it that way, especially given the huge differences in team management. There's little doubt that much of Young's trouble has been due to the current sorry state of the Carolina Panthers. Conversely, the Texans GM and rookie HC are both top candidates for their respective "of the Year" awards, and their rookie OC is likely going to be HC somewhere else next year. CJ Stroud's hot start is not the only thing boosting the Texans this year, and neither is Bryce Young's disappointing first year entirely (or even primarily) of his own making.

I doubt any qb would be able to succeed with the panthers roster

maybe they should investigate the owner of The Carolina Panther's for gambling deliberately picking people they know could cause The Team too loose. The players on the team have skills it's just that in this case they may have needed another kind of energy to rejuvenate Them.

It’s hard to predict who will better transition from college to PRO. Having said that, it’s even harder to watch the pick that you wanted bring more success to their team than the guy the owner forced you to take, and then fires you. Seems like a good owner or boss would hold themselves accountable for that choice and at least give the coach one more year. And yes, if I’m the owner, I might want to have influence, but once something like this happens, I’m gonna check myself from overriding the people I employee to make personnel decisions.
