And while most WWE matches are either good or good enough, there are obviously some WWE matches that not GOOD all for various reasons so today let’s discuss a few of those. Maxxine Dupri is genuinely likable and very entertaining. I understand she's a jobber but i'd like to see more of her. But yeah, that match between Maxxine and Rhea was trash. Heard about Charlotte's knee injury, i hope she makes a speedy recovery.

The most frustrating thing to come out of the Ronda Shayna match is that Shayna was the first women in WWE to get a 100% clean win over Ronda yet they didn't do anything with it and treat it not even as an afterthought.

Wrestling fans want to so badly compare wrestling to sports even stealing terms like generational talents and considering wrestling a sport so why wouldn’t that apply here. In real sports when one team get smashed viewers can acknowledge that that was a horrible game despite the injuries on one team. Why not apply that here too?

This is probably the worst year for the women’s division since 2014. Rhea’s title reign has been lackluster, most of the women aren’t getting any tv time and Ronda’s second run has been a mess. Triple H has been mostly doing a great job as creative but he clearly does has no idea how to properly utilize the division but to his defense, AEW’s women division is still worse. Hopefully it can change next year.

I don't think it's fair to put Charlotte vs Asuka on the list due to the Queen's sudden injury. And even though it wasn't mentioned, I don't think Snoop Dogg vs The Miz should be included due to Shane injuring his knee. An audible was called and Snoop was brought in to take Shane's place.

Maybe Gable Steveson would've had a better debut match against Damon Kemp (his brother). Baron Corbin isn't terrible, but he just doesn't have good chemistry with some wrestlers.

The NXT crowd made their feelings about the guy clear, they don't like him. There's nothing special about him at all. Plus there are allegations that he SA'ed one or more women, and some fans automatically hate him because of that, whether its true or not. I wouldnt be surprised if we dont see him again and he gets released!

I appreciate that you brought up the Maxxine/Rhea match alongside the Charlotte/Asuka match. Seems way too common nowadays for armchair experts to criticize every little thing these talented Individuals do without realizing that botches are inevitable. A few mishaps, a stutter, questionable booking decisions, and gimmicks are prone to happen, as these guys are told to produce quality entertainment on a strenuous weekly basis. You can have a bad match and still be a consummate professional.

I think not necessarily the worst match but the most disappointing match was Cena vs Theory at WM39. The amount of hype surrounding this match was pretty high. But what we got was a slow paced and underwhelming snoozefest where cena barely did anything at all and there was a point where they had theory BITE cena (YES, THEY WERE THAT DESPERATE). Overall, it was a massive letdown

It was honestly a pretty good year in terms of wrestling for WWE. Aside from Ronda v Shayna and Steveson v Corbin, there werent many outright bad matches. Can't fault Maxinne since she is very much a rookie and can't fault Charlotte for getting injured

You got to remember Maxxine Dupri was a Vince hire she never went to the PC learned how to wrestle she even said it herself she just wanted to be a part of wwe they should’ve let her train for awhile before even thinking of putting her infront of a live audience

corbin vs stevenson makes sense if it was leading to a Corbin face turn which se will never know... Angle thinks they were going for a double turn but it just wasnt executed right (like ziggler/del rio and bret/austin)

Maxxine Dupree is proof that it's just fine to be a valet/manager. She seems like a likeable person/character but she doesn't need to wrestle and you can see it's something she isn't ready to do especially on the main roster against the world champion. She's fine just being the valet there's plenty of people who have had great careers doing that and taking the odd few bumps but not having full on matches

I don't think she should wrestle I think shes fine doing the valet stuff I don't see why she needs to wrestle

I don’t think Gable was even that bad I think he just suffered from absolutely horrible booking and a terrible first opponent to go against. Don’t get me wrong, Baron Corbin is extremely underrated but he shouldn’t have been the first opponent for gable.

Baron Corbin was the wrong opponent for Gable's debut, they should of chosen someone like Noam Dar. Dar is a safe wrestler, can cut a good promo and he's got an accent so it instantly becomes an All American vs Foreigner (so people will want to cheer for the USA)

This list should be comprised of strictly nxt women’s matches. Both Maxine dupri vs Rhea and Charlotte vs asuka were as good as the average aew women’s match.

NXT Women's matches are better than Raw or Smackdown Women's matches though. The women's division in NXT is arguably the best part of NXT right now.

All I hear is how great the WWE's Womens division has been but they put someone that green on one of their main shows? Why? No excuse. Maybe it's not on her but someone decided to put her out there.

Because Triple H isn't all that different from Vince. He pits the spotlight on a select few women and does nothing with the rest.........Damage Ctrl shouldve broken up a long time ago, Rhea Ripley is even more boring, Zelina Vega should've had a better push after her loss to Rhea.

SummerSlam was my first ever WWE event. I overall had a good time.... I agree with the Rhonda v Shayna. The arena was almost PURE SILENT FOR 10 MINS. me and my group that I was with both were sitting in our seats wondering when that shit show of match... I really wish Rhonda would seriously just call it quits. I've never been a fan

I'm personally sick of everyone shitting on the Ronda v Shayna match. Sure it wasn't the greatest match in either woman's professional wrestling career. Some might say it was one of Shayna's worst. But it wasn't Ronda's worst ever match. (See Ronda vs Shotzi for that) That said, I rather, and it seems I'm definitely in the minority here, I rather enjoyed that "MMA RULES" match. I'm just sick and tired of A) everyone shitting on the match. And B) Shayna not getting booked on the main roster like the fucking monster we all saw in NXT. (Elimination Chamber match not withstanding)

Charlotte Asuka didn't belong on here. No one cared about Ronda/Shayna, it could have either not happened or been on RAW Gable looked better during the brawl than the actual match Maxx, yeah she's green, the bright side is that is her character, she's in training and unlike Eva Marie, Maxx is charismatic and likeable.

Really biased least favorite match for me is Rhonda and Shayna vs Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn for the unification of the two womens tag belts. Womens tag division is awful for a lot of reasons, this included. Jobbing out the recently brought to main roster, NXT champs to a team thats gonna hastily break up two weeks later. And then the witches just...disapear from tv for the rest of the year.

She has potential but she does need more training. The lifting spots from Rhea's side need cooperation from Maxxine's side are the biggest issue.

Sorry, I disagree with this list Maxine/Rhea was awful but it’s because Maxine doesn’t belong on tv right now. Charlotte/Auska wasn’t bad at all. Hell Charlotte finishing that match on one leg is to be commended. Gable/Baron wasn’t bad. The crowd was just rejecting Stevenson. Corbin carried that match. I do agree with Shayna/Rhonda. In fact, you could have used Rhonda’s last 3 to 5 matches as worst match of the year candidates.
