I explore the wrens nest a section that is my favourite based around the seven sisters cavern area and some stunning views at parts . the area is rich in history and hasang geological features making it a interesting black country geo park to visit . the land dates to 428 million years ago when it was covered by a ancient tropical sea bed , many years ago the land was well exploited for limestone where they dug underground creating huge dark caverns.

I find myself relaxing as soon as the music starts on your videos, Really enjoyed this I used to love hunting for fossils as a kid I did laugh when you said you’d bought a specialist dvd of the internet 😂 Thanks Drew

What I find interesting is those slabs of rock one on top of the other and formed in the last ice age. It's an amazing place and thanks to you I can see it. Thanks Drew.

The Wren's nest is a lovely spot. Kids love searching for fossils there, and it's actually far easier to find something than at any of the better-known fossil sites on the South coast. I love the brass band music. Something about it really suits the videos.

Awesome isn't it for the fossils could spend hours over here , that spot in the video is the best by that ridge . I know it's very catchy that tune I went through all the RU-vid music and found these ones the best

@@MidlandsOutdoors I've crawled all around that quarry, and there are some good rocks all over there, but the spot you pointed out is definitely one of the best.

I’m loving all your videos since I discovered the one on Leasowes Park (which as kids, we used to call Bluebell Dell). We also used to play on the Wren’s Nest and I still have a fossilised shark’s tooth I found there when I was a kid in the 1960s

Amazing to find those fossils so far inland. Normally you'd be off to Dorset for those.
