@@Turelyui Also an important thing: 9:30 The chinese wanted to revisit the german lease treaty over the port city of Qingao and asked for a one-sided termination, but it also included the german and austro-hungarian legation quarters in Tianjin. It's a rightful request, because, you know, those are chinese cities. The british denied this request, since Japan occupied the city. But China made a separate treaty with Germany over the city, since Japan at that point still had a separate alliance treaty with the UK, while the germans saw a potential future ally in China and tried to appease them with giving up Qingdao and also throwing a wench between China and the UK and Japan. What happened is, that japan simply occupied the cities and kept it under japanese military occupation. After the end of the war, with Germany out of the picture, the three strongest maritime powers were the UK, the US and Japan. Japan continued to move forward with heavily subsidized naval build-up, what eventually forced the british and the americans into one camp and both of them were cooperative with each other in the 1922 naval conference. The conference was about to cull a potential future naval arms race, since everyone was tired after the first one was a key factor in leading to WW1, hence Kaiser Willy and his shiny High Seas fleet. During the Washington conferences there were dozens of other problems solves, one of them was an international recognition of not fucking up China anymore and an aggrement of equal opportunities in trading with the chinese. The US saw an opportunity to befriend the new Chinese Republic, so they were heavily interested in resolving every potential conflict in the region with a chinese bias, what the british supported, since they wanted to keep up the status quo and since Japan became more of a nuisance, rather than a helpful ally, they were interested in culling them back a bit. Basically a complete world conference with a british and american lead made a proclamation, that every territory China has now are off-the-table and since before Versailles Qingdao was given to China by the germans and the japanese had to sign a treaty what would force them to abandon the city and give it back to China. It made the japanese really pissy, alongside with the Washington Naval Treaty gave them a really bad ratio on ships compared to the UK and the US. Fortunately the 1920's were pretty good years for Japan, as Emperor Taishó was more interested in becoming the UK of the Far East, but after the 1929 stock market crash, Japan started to go down the shitter.

I agree with all besides the second part, the whole fort thing was meant by the devs not to mean actual trench lines but forts. That’s why there’s French decisions to build actual forts and not just trench lines that are just a level 1 fort the entire frontline

​@@TurelyuiHow to Activate the mods? There is no option in the launcher.

So when you subscribe to the mod and then let it download, the launcher should have a tab on the left for play-sets

@@Turelyui I do not know why but my Steam is not opening the launcher.

@@gustavohungerbuhler7509when you boot up the game it gives a pop up saying to launch with or without the paradox launcher, you may have clicked without launcher along time ago without remembering, I don’t know specifically how to change it back so that would be somthing you would have to look up
