Exactly. That's why I love The Voice, they don't get a chance to judge them before they sing, they base everything on talent and never on looks on that show.
Actually, this is the reason why I like X-Factor better. We can't never expect what's coming.. like with this couple. In "The Voice" every contestants has a good voice, so you don't have that element of surprise like you can get on X-Factor.
Actually it seems like the moment they already now how the act going to be but it the open that is less expected and be the one that show the effort and motivation to the one that does not I can see that in future they will probably change because of their looks but they look beautiful just love them what they are pretty sure if they was skinny and fit the judge will have an different out look just make it interesting
What do you mean with that? because they are a bit over weight? That female is a lot more attractive than the majority of the skinny girls that auditioned this year. Her face is really beautiful. Are you writing this crap about not to judge a book by it's cover for ugly or just plain skinny people too? At least this girl could lose some weight (if she wanted to and cared, I don't) and get totally smashing instead of good looking while a lot of the skinny ones have done all they can and still aren't hot. I love people that aren't so self centered and body fixated because those who are is most often shallow and egoistic. To much focus on ur exterior is unsexy. I could have understood you if they had the nose on the forehead or something like that but regarding this couple? Hell no!!!
Look at Simons face at the beginning. That's what I am talking about. It sure was not the "they will smash this audition" face. I don't give shit about how someone looks. For me, every single person is equal and I treat them that way. Now, what I don't get it is, why do you asume things without the facts. So you're the one judging
I do think, they know from their papers if they someone is good or not as they are having a lot auditions without cameras... So they make those faces and judge them, to making surprises and being dramatic for the views...

good thing that guy decided not to go solo. knowing louis, if he got the boys category, louis would've eliminated him on the spot for not looking like a typical pop star. just look at what happened to paul akister a few years back.
I think it's actually very annoying to see people, especially the judges, having a weird look when someone who isn't very 'good looking' walks in... And then they're shocked they can actually sing. I mean there's no connection between beauty and skills.
you know the saying, "If you love someone let them go" might work here for him but people are just to needy and dependent on each other. their going to be a fail because in the end she's not willing to just take a lesser roll in the pairing according to her comments. i think they need to stay together. she has a great voice as well as him she just needs to show it more. i was voting for them to go to the live shows.
Reminds me of jonathan and charlotte who were advised by Simon to split up as well due to vast difference of their talents. Great talent, especially the guy's voice..
Why is everyone like "never judge a book by its cover"?? I didn't know being thin was ever a prerequisite to be a good singer. Did I miss a meeting or a memo that was sent?
