He's so pure. I love this! And the way he said "I'm actually gonna make something of meself" at the end really touched me but also kind of broke my heart? He's really special.
The Liverpool accent is nothing like the Scottish accent. His performance of this song was absolutely brilliant. If I could download it from ITunes I would. He has a great voice.
oh lawd! i didn't expect that, he's just raw, real. i really love how he puts that soul in there, those runs were good. i can see him growing into something amazing! it's all about song selection though.
He went to X-factor when he was a little kid and Simon told him he needed singing lessons and he replied that he was sorry. Seeing him now is so heartwarming 😄 Edit: Wow in Owen Wilson voice, 200 likes. Thank you everyone.
Absolutely LOVE Sharon's response to this audition - you can see the depth of feeling she has in this instance, probably because of her own life history but the way she connects with the audition to me is just above and I love it - and this man can absolutely SING with feeling, so good...
"you dont have the best voice" His was was hella unique. Obviously control issues and lack of range, but that can always be worked on, just like any singer. Sometimes i wonder what comes out of Nicole's mouth, saying that to someone definitely doesn't give someone confidence going into the next rounds. Sorry to bring negativity to the comment section guys, but that was just a plain stupid comment on her behalf.

Imagine being told you don't have the best voice, by somebody you look up to. After you just sang your absolute heart out. I think his voice for this song is fantastic. %90 of men would surely love a voice like that. I'd be stoked with those notes and that colour. The girl that sang before him that got through, I thought surely wasn't going to. So probably I don't know what I'm talking about
He was so happy. Sometimes it's not about talent, sometimes it's about someone's zeal and personality. I was sad when he got out of the audition and there was no one to celebrate with him and hug him apart from the X-factor's personnel. But after this, he will have hundreds of friends to choose from, I'm sure.

A lovely emotional voice. Sweet personality on the young man. You can really feel what he is putting across and that was just beautiful. I didn't understand the one judge commenting on white soul. Soul don't have color. :I
This guy needs more attention from him being a child trying and he really did sound good but he didn’t let nobody stop him from doing what he truly loved. This is an inspiration
There are really people who don't just sing but really move your heart out and make u feel the lyrics. That's a kind of ability that not all singers have. You made my eyes cry. Got my eye on you ! keep up!
I keep coming everyday to this audition and replay it idk why but it just all fits together, his voice that movement, song choice and his heart.. So special
'You don't have the best voice...' - they all acted so reluctant, I thought he was really really great, I would have given him a yes without a second thought.
Anthony was my favorite. I am sorry to hear he had to leave the show. I hope he recovers from his drug and personal issues and auditions next year. Don't give up Anthony - you have a lot of talent to show the world. Now you realize how good you are and hopefully the positive feedback will help you recover.
Awe Anthony has won me over. Looking at his performance of wake me up, and listening to both covers. He really is something special. I wish for better things to come and that he can overcome addiction. Thank you Louis Tomlinson for giving him that help.
I loved it. Don't know why, but I did. His voice, the way he sings, the way I believed it was actually his story in that song. Amazing. I hope he comes back next year!
