its funny how xiaomi and leica tried to give us the actual "dslr look" and yet the mainstream complains about how it doesn't look vibrant and sharp enough which is the "smartphone hdr" over processed look. I just hope we get tuning like this in the future because the current trend of smartphone manufacturer's camera tuning just ain't it.
I've been a Xiaomi user for more or less 3 years. As much as I commend their mid to flagship models at a more affordable prices compared to its competition, I find myself again and again to be disappointed with its software. Currently typing this comment right now using my Mi 11 Lite with MUI 14 and software is a hit and miss. It's not even about performance or how fast it is. It's the entire experience itself. Buggy and sometimes it tries to be a cheap knockoff of an iOS.
@@lb659 Have you tried using Gboard on MIUI? It sucks. There are sudden app closing or sometimes it confuses itself when typing and suddenly just goes back to the home screen. I confirmed this was an issue when I made a phone reset thinking it was just some weird issue being it was never reset. But the problem persists even on a fresh setup of MIUI.
@tuduermestrop8474 better than the no pro 15s by miles with a telephoto with 2 times and still get 5 times zoom without losing much picture quality and better screen resolution 144hz a 1220p always on display and in the uk £700 and its only available in 12gb ram and 512gb of storage and thats litterly the base here in uk amazon and stores
sorry, but hardware is cool , but the controle is better ... Iphone has never got the best hardware, except for Proc. But Apple knows how to control the hardware to get the best from. Look the camera, not the best lens, but the best pics ! @@sulaman4280
Nothing Phone 2 is a better choice, the video recording quality aint the best on the Xiaomi 13T series and it has no ltpo tech on the display. Comes with tons of bloatware some you cant even remove, and not to mention allot of telemetry in the background straight to chinese servers.
Hello, i just want to ask you since i am planing to buy the 13T Pro, when you were recording video did the main camera fog up or everything was okay? Because i read only 5 comment that it did
@@itsmamdy I mean it is a new phonr could be only on several devices not on all of them still it is possible, but i think we should wait a little bit more so more people can report this but also could be hate comments so yeah
BTW, I would be very glad if you released a video showing us how you record your videos and edit them, teaching us how to carry out a review video as perfect as you do.
Hey Mark, stunning review video, it was a pleasure watching you explaining the main details. I'm Brazilian and got really surprised with your video...amazing photo quality and straight to the point. I've just bought my Xiaomi 13T pro and exploring some features. Please it'd be great if you could test the camera outside, taking some pictures and also get some video shots. Then, compare them with other brands and models. Please talk more about this phone.
I'm very interested in connection, especially on T-Mobile. Looking for band 71 or 600 MHz and I can't seem to find it on these phones coming out of China. If anyone out there from the Chinese phone manufacturers, please put all the wireless bands from the three main carriers into your antenna/ modem. I can't figure out why they leave those out.
Banned? Oh wow the new chip really made them fkin really mad they should've go to snapdragon gen 2 on 13T pro and normal one all in 13T pro like now what a stupid brain 🧠 xiaomi@@aaronthiagarajan
Most midrange phones today do come kinda close on main cam to flagships, in good light photos, especially seen on half of small youtube video screen, again watched through some cheap monitor that doesnt translate colors/resolution too well anyway. Still, I take my old S21 Ultra and compare it to my new 13T Pro and S21U is a bit better on main cam than 13T Pro, and totally kills it on all other cameras, not to mention zoom is uncomparably better on S21U. 13T Pro is a good deal, but its not a Mercedes, not even a 3 year old one, it's still just a new Volkswagen Golf, don't kid yourself.
Great video, I use the 2x crop tip when I don't want to use an uktra wide lens. Or if it lacks AF overall, like on the Z Flip 5, but it isn't a binned sensor. Either way, I loved this one.
Why people hate this phone? Can someone explain this to me? 👋 I'm planning to get a new phone. Xiaomi 13T Pro just released in my country and its readystock. I'm planning to buy a new phone since my Poco F2 pro (an old phone) is having issue that I can't turn it on. Is this a good choice? Or should I choose Sd8g2 powered devices?
Not sure why people are hating. It’s a really good phone. The processor is just as good, if not better (at least for gaming) as the SD8G2. But, the cameras are great too so it’s a flagship phone as well.
Its because not snapdragon gen 2 and custom ROM duuuuuu yes I am complaining but just phone games too they all sucks I complained about games its a pass of dogshit they passing me off @@HeyMarkL
Those people keep asking for better specs but when Xiaomi pack in better specs and inevitably have to increase prices, those people *shocked Pikachu face*
I am gonna buy the Nothing Phone 2 instead of these Xiaomi 13T series. I hate the bloatware on Xiaomi phones, and the amount of telemetry to chinese servers. The display on the 13T has no LTPO technology and the camera quality is worse vs Nothing Phone 2.
Що з автономністю? Бо я хочу купити середньобюджетний телефон з більш менш пристойною камерою та непоганою автономністю ( moto edge 40, Samsung a54, poco f5, mi 13 lite, mi 13t, honor 90, redmi 12pro+)
Good review! I just bought it last week and the phone is incredible! For the last 4 years my phone was XIAOMI POCO F2 PRO which is great and still working very well but lately he has software crash once a day... How about the 13T Pro selfie camera? Did you like it for photos? Still trying to adapt.
13T Pro starts from $575 with 256gb and iphone 15 128gb starts at $935 in my country. It seems Xiaomi is more focused on growth in Asian countries than US and Europe
@@prithvim7 i'm talking about bigger sensor size not post processing style and sensor manufacturer! because in his video he said Xiaomi 13T Pro has bugger sensor than Xiaomi 12T Pro
@@GRRoman-is1pg while that's true As per 12T it's going to get more light(F1.7) vs F1.9 The Leica verified optics do help You can understand this by comparing JN1 sensor from other device vs JN1 on Xiaomi 13 Pro Despite of same sensor(F2.2) the JN1 on 13 pro was much clear + sharp (I have compared Nothing P1 vs c Xiaomi 13 Pro UltraWide)
I quit Xiaomi just because of the cameras! A lot of stutter and lag in video recording, quality of the pics was not not good and the rest is because of ads..a lot of them!
Maybe you used their cheaper phones. There are no ads on the T lineup. Not on the Mi 9T i used for 2 years or on the 10T and 11T used by people around me. My Poco F3 did have ads but i disabled them and not an issue anymore
@@notagain2856 i had mi11 ultra and mi12..same s..t..full of ads! Maybe is the version od the software...i don't know, and about the cameras.. no thank you! Maybe the cameras are ok..but the procesing of images is realy bad! And like i said..in video recording, a lot of stutter! I don't have that problem on iphone or samsung!
I am still using Poco F3, one of the phones users always complain about proximity sensor. Maybe its the way i hold the phone to my ear but i have never face any issue with the proximity sensor
Are you sure it's the 13T Pro and not the regular 13 Pro? LOL - I have the 13T, 13T Pro, 13 Pro, as well as the 13 Ultra here in the studio and the "T" series definitely have MediaTek and the non "T" series have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
Bought this phone and camera is bad. Low in details processing photos. Everything looks foggy. I watch reviews and thought it is good camera but it is not at all unfortunately 😞 Buy pixel if you need good camera.
Same but only EU :( what a scam and fk T series lucky for them LOL nobody's gonna buy it pro is better where is 200 MP bruh and custom miui version@@HeyMarkL
