I got mine almost 2 weeks ago and I've been enjoying this phone. It's battery life for me has been really good and the cameras and with authentic mode is just perfect for me, those are the colors and mood I like so it's nice to have it. Also I measured the ∆E of the screen and it's lower than 1, truly amazing
I tend to switch between authentic and vibrant (depending on the situation) , but yeah I think I prefer the authentic more often ! 😄 Such a great device at this price point !
The front camera is.... not that good. It's not bad for photos and selfie but - not as good for video. You can only record up to 1080p (no 4K) and only in 30fps.
got mine about a month ago, I found the HDR setting in photo mode is quite unpredictable: u just don't know when it will turn red(activated). Also, do u have any tip in choosing hdr/hdr10+ in video mode ? i can't quite tell the difference... The 50mm portrait mode is just wonderful, the 'bokeh' is so natural 😊
I'd recommend turning HDR10+ off, unless you are going to edit the photos afterwards or if all of your screens are HDR, and some social media apps won't like HDR10+ (discord for example), I've read you can turn the pics back to SDR, but that's an extra step Just my opinion, but still
Thank You ! To be honest, I didn't see any differences compared to my older phone and phones from people that were there with me ( so phones from : Oppo, Samsung, Huawei and an older Xioami) 😄 Everything work as expected
Actually ... I do remember the first couple of days having a problem with that too, but then I recalibrated it and now it's working perfectly fine. (Just checked the GPS right now and overall today to make sure and it worked perfectly 🤔)
What an interesting find 😊 As someone who is looking to buy this model AND who lives in Lanzarote, this was perfect. Hope you enjoyed our beautiful island.
Review definitely made for You haha ! It wasn't the first time we visited Lanzarote, we love the Canary Islands 😄 (Videos from Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote, will soon be on my travel channel)
Great review! Can you share please for this 13T Pro, can display be manually locked with button at incoming call or during conversation also ? With 11t pro was impossible.
As in locking the screen to be all turned off while on call? If yes, than Yeah, You can turn it on or off, but I just have it set to auto, so it turns off automatically when by Your ear 😄
Great video have been thinking of a new phone. I'm off to Lanzarote next week, where was the layered rocks you were walking between would love to visit 😎
So far it seems to be able to run both codm and genshin on max settings from what I was able to test, and when playing even outside in temperature over 30° it still wasn't getting too hot! 😄 But I'm not a huge mobile gamer tho 🤔
Hi sirrr ummm can I ask? Because I have a problem about gaming I play codm and sometimes my fps lock in 60 fps but the phone supports 90 to 120 fpss but everyday I play sometime I incounter this problem pls help mee thank you❤
To be totally honest, so far my experience with battery is great 🤔 holds up throughout the whole day, and charges super quick when needed 😄 (Maybe after a couple of days the battery learns what kind of usage and when You use it the most etc.)
Mine is the same. Really disappointed with the battery. I wouldn't consider myself a heavy user at all and I don't get a whole day out of it. It's driving me crazy.
@@danielwiddis6786 Mine seems to be holding up much much better after a couple of days/weeks. To the point I was even talking about with my girlfriend how when we were shopping and going around and I was browsing the net, social media etc. and I had still 98% battery while she had like 85% after the same time. So far I would say initially I wasn't happy with the battery, seemed avarage, but now it just holds so nicely !
It seems to be a big issue I was doing a lot of research into a new phone and the 13T and 13T pro has a lot of issues with BT and GPS, apparently its causing big issues with google maps and android Auto for driving :( for me thats a dealbreaker! which sucks! Honor has a good camera but little in terms of good case's so its a hard time for good mid market phones! @@SebastianDylag
Your video quality is really good, you need to improve with scenario, sometimes you startle and stop while talking. Also, pronounce brand right. Add time stamps to your video. But keep going you will succeed in year or two.
I still have my OnePlus 5T and was really looking forward to upgrading to the OnePlus 11 soon, until I came across this phone and I'm absolutely torn and indecisive about which one to go for! Any tips? The OnePlus 11 is 'only' 80 euros more expensive here so the price is not a deal breaker.
@@rickjamesb. No problem! From what I've been able to gather, seems like Xiaomi has better camera (it's great from my experience) but oneplus 11 seems to have great specs to, so I'm guessing You can't go wrong, both should be great 😄 Thanks ! 😄
Hi Sebastian, thanks for the video. I'm really interested in this phone xiaomi 13 t, but also i would like to know between thus Xiaomi and Redmi note 13 pro+, which one is better to go? Those are my 2 option to replace my Redmi note 8 pro :)
From what I know the Redmi note 13 pro + will come out very soon in Europe / globally. I think Xiaomi 13t pro will be/is the better one. But it also comes down to what You are looking for when getting a new phone (like camera, weight etc. ) And the price of both devices ( or the budget You have) For me - Xiaomi 13t Pro 😄
All but no good selfie camera and that is a serious problem. Selfie is something you can do by yourself without any help, put your phone in your face and take your picture and load it on social media. That must be very handy and phone makers should improve on it. I wanted this phone badly but that is a con I can't deal with
Sebastian, does it have NFC, IR Blaster and USB-C Video Out? I think my heart is on the 13T Pro or its sister he Vivo x100 Pro (if it has IR Blaster). I'll never buy a phone without IR Blaster cos i want to control all my gadgets with my phone as i do with my Redmi 9T Pro. Its time to upgrade so i've been looking. I've followed Xiaomi since 2016/2017 when i got my Redmi Note 4A. It's probably the 3rd best selling phone in South Africa after Samsung and iPhone. Well done Xiaomi.
It has NFC (use it daily), to my knowledge it also has IR blaster, but not sure about USB c video out (but possibly ?) I'm loving the Xiaomi 13T pro as my daily driver 😄
Hiii can u help me because my gaming experience about this phone is not that good because some times i play game its locking 60 fps but he can support 90 to 120 fps im playing call of duty
So far I'm impressed. Even when I tried gaming when on Lanzarote (outside, in weathers way over 30°) And it didn't seem to get too hot ! It seems like the advertising about cooling system wasn't a lie 😄 (but I'm not a huge mobile gamer tho)
@@SebastianDylag i bye mi 13 t pro and now i want to transfer or convey all data apps musics pictures videos everything in my old mobile Huawei y 9 prime 2019 to my new mobile mi 13 t pro from xiaomi what's the best way to make it. Is it with clone phone app from Huawei or mi mover app from xiaomi or i go to mobiles shop to make it perfectly with money also i want to say the app phone clone is exist in my huawei y9 prime the same as mi mover is aslo exist im my new xiaomi 13 t pro. Also iam worried about my data in WhatsApp Facebook massenger and other apps like telegram and others i have important pictures and messages for my work and other things. I will be greatful if i get answer and sorry 🙏 for long message
I had this for like 2months now, I like it overall, BUT and this is a BIG but. My Google wallet payment is SHIT, doesn't work well at all, I always have to approve with fingerprint and it takes forever for the payment to accept . Soo mad. Had an mi11 and that one worked sooooo good.. this is a big issue so I'm gonna see how the 14 pro is maybe get an Samsung...
To be honest, I think the front camera is one of the less good things about this phone, It's fine for selfies I guess, but it only records in full hd and no 4k 😄
Some youtubers are a bit sceptical about its 2600 brightness nits when use the phone outdoor. Idk. Isn't it a deal breaker or not but since its affordable than its pricey BIGGER BROTHER, Xiaomi 13 Ultra, i got nothing to complain😊
I don't have the tools to test if it's working at 2600 nits, but from my "eye" tests, even in very strong sunlight on the Canaries, I was able to see everything and on auto brightness it really got bright ! 😄
2600 nits is peak brightness and almost certainly only for small highlights during HDR playback, so your display won't normally get that bright. GSM Arena measured around 1200 nits in their tests in auto brightness mode.
We have two Xiaomi 13t pros (I have black version, Evie has Alpine blue) never had Fog issues. (I've used it personally in all weather conditions, from 30/40 + degrees on Canary Islands in the sun , to very cold winter days in Kraków, never had any issues with it !) 😄
Never used any of these two but : 2 years ago or so, I chose the Oppo Reno 6 Pro over Xiaomi 10t pro, And used it till getting Xiaomi 13t pro, From what I know the OPPO Reno 10 pro is an upgrade in most cases other than the snapdragon chip inside 🤔 But OPPO Reno 10 pro vs this Xiaomi 13 t Pro = Xiaomi 13t pro is better in my opinion 😄
@@SebastianDylag the reason I asked as I'm contemplating btw mobile phone and action camera in video taking on the move. I knew picture mobile is way stronger than action camera...
pre order this phone 1 month ago. the major cons for me is the cpu heat is higher temps compare to other phones i use before. the battery life is pretty mid for me, especially if you max out all the settings. i don't video record much, only 1080p 60fps on their pro mode. shooting outdoor with hot temperature also make its uncomfortable hold as it is quite hot. using 144hz drain battery fast as well. other than the negatives, i love the the phone on this camera alot. its easy to use and has very good colors especially their filters are build close to fujifilm film simulation. i would recommend people to go 13t instead of the pro version for lower temps and better battery. some pro tip for this phone is default to 60hz, off alot of settings so that you can have decent battery for a whole day.
Hmm, seems like a totally different experience to mine 🤔 I've been able to game with it while on Canary Islands (pretty warm place) and the phone wasn't getting hot. For me the battery seemed average for the first two/three days, but since then it's been going great ! To the point where we compared our other phones and after using them about equally, the other phones would have 85/90 % of battery while my Xiaomi 13t pro was on.... 99% 🤔 (I'm using all of the highest features so always on display, 144hz etc. )
Same issues with my 13T pro, i have made comments on GSM arena but almost everyone calls me troll ( they probably dont even have 13t pro). Also major GPS issues while driving, losing location, lagging position etc.
I will just leave this here in case that they fix it :D [ let us know] , (need a new phone , don't know if i should go with 14t{not available here yet} or 13t pro)@@mr.aleximer
Take your old iphone and your xiaomi. Then grab some fireworks and set them off at night. Then you will see which phone shoots better at night. Iphone is still leading and android phone cameras are junk and not suitable for filming in the dark.
iPhone fans will make up ANY argument to try and 'prove' their beloved iPhone is better 🤣 but this has to be the most ridiculous one I've ever come across smh. Do you go shooting firework every night and video record it? Do you even record videos every night outside in the dark? No 😆 on nearly all aspects the best iPhones (15 Pro Max for now) will lose to Androids from Q1 of 2022, hands down, not even close. I will simply admit iPhones do have great cameras and especially their zoom is fabulous, but for daily use, taking regular pics here and there you really won't notice much difference.
I've watched many video and camera comparisons with Iphone against some of the best Android phones out there and Android's quality was way better. But to each it's own if you enjoy paying hundreds more on iPhones that typically have 8gb of ram, below par battery life then enjoy and the same crap they use in every iphone that's always identical
Im from the uk, finding it really hard to find reviews from uk customers, between this and the s23fe, which one is better? And can you charge from standard uk 3 prong plug rather than the dual prong 120 watt charger?
Thank you for this amazing video of the T13 Pro. One question... How do I activate the log recording? I heard about it, but I don't seem the find where and how to enable it? :-) Anyone?
Amazing hand on review as always 👍 1. Does the Xiaomi 13t Pro have preinstalled screen protector? 2. What do you think is better to do, buy now Xiaomi 13T Pro at discount, or wait for the global version of the Xiaomi 14 Pro?
Thank You ! 😄 1. Yes it does have it preinstalled ! 😄 2. I guess it's up to the price of 14 pro and how much You want to spend, so price vs performance case 😄

Great review! Can you tell me where did you found that mountain wallpaper and lockscreen which animates into each other? 2:16 you are showing it.
I got mine about a month ago. When I plug in the charger, it won't charge at 120W.. only appear 'Quick Charge' at the screen. After try re-plug it quite sometimes then it's okay.. charge it at 120W. Did anyone facing this kind of problem?
I guess everyone has their own expieriences and tastes. For me I always want to have an in screen fingerprint scanners, and even have disregarded phones that had a power button fingerprint scanner. 😄 As for the notification light, I think the one on the Xiaomi 9 lite was a nice addition (the xiaomi logo pulsing in coresponding colors) but I'm not missing any notification lights on the Xiaomi 13t Pro (maybe that's just my use case scenario, and the AOD works great for that - for me)
Power button/ fingerprint sensor was the single best feature of the phones from a few years ago... Shame to see most of the manufacturers transitioned to the in display option, which isn't as fast. Mi 10t pro was and still is a really sweet device. Specially for someone who still prefer natural colors on a nice IPS display. Seeing what Xiaomi was producing years ago, with the Mi 10t and 10t pro, kinda disappointed with the 13t/ 13t pro... miniscule differences, at best really, other than a beefier chipset, which rarely gets used at its fullest potential, other than those useless benchmarks.
@@WrongButtonWB Agree with you 💯. The on-screen sensor affect's some of my apps and the screen protectors I have stop it from working. I still have my Mi 10t pro and was reluctant to upgrade to the 11 and 12 but gave in for the 13. The differences are minor apart from the camera and I don't like the chipset. I don't think Xiaomi are taking significant enough steps forward and I might go with a pixel after this.
I got mine 7 days ago and I love it but I have a problem with it, the OIS from the main camera is making a rattling noise that is kinda loud when I shake my phone and sometimes the OIS just goes crazy for a few seconds while playing games, it happend 2 times already and it's similar to the bug on the Iphone 14 Pro / Max (the one with 3rd party camera apps). It doesn't affect the camera quality but I want to know if more people have this issue.
Every phone with OIS is making ratling noises when you shake camera. It is literally OIS meaning your OIS lense is "floating" to keep your video steady.
Hallo Sebastian. First of all I liked your video so lile and sub from me. My daily driver for last 14 Months was Oppo Find X5 Pro. It started to overheat and battery drains in 4 hours. I send my Phone for repair and they told me that it can not be repaired and they offered me new Oppo Phone or Xiaomi 13T Pro 12/512. Should I switch to Xiaomi or stay with Oppo?
As stated in the video, I've actually used the phone on Lanzarote, which has many good and bad spots for connectivity and.... GPS worked all fine there when driving 🤔
@@SebastianDylag Wow that is awesome. My and few other units were sent to Xiaomi and they kinda confessed they have GPS issues but denied my complaint as well like it will work better in the future. So basically they are hiding the GPS issues for now.
@@SebastianDylag Yes and i can respect that but we dont buy devices for future promises are we? I want my device to work out of the box. Even worse is, official Xiaomi service denied my complaint. Anyway thanks for reply. If you "catch" some GPS issues ( i even saw few comments here about it) please make a video to support us so they can fix it as soon as possible for those of us who are having these issues. Ty
Yes, great. But introduce a face to it (it smoothens it by default) or bright colour clothes on a sunny day (the exposure and brightness are blown up in the sky), and post again. I bought it and I must say I am a little disappointed because of those two issues. Hope that it will be fixed with an update.
Will have to check it, but I thought You can turn off the smoothing ? 🤔 As for the bright colors - I knew I forgot something in the video ! I noticed that on the vibrant it tends to increase the exposure and brightness too much, while authentic mode seems to better in that case. 😄 But like You said, hopefully they fix it with an update, as both seem to be coming from the software side of the phone!
Yes, the must fix with an update. As far as the pictures go, it is easy ti control the exposure and vibrance, my issue is with the video options... Smoothing can be turned off, yes, but chect to see that even wit the beauty filter turned off the cameea still recognizes faces and tends to smooth them out (picture especially, and video also). I am curious why nobady mentions this in their video reviews (probably havent tested the phone enough)...
Will have to test it out, how it works with selfies with smoothing turned off. (I don't take selfies and don't really use the front cameras too often so that could be explain why I didn't notice these things) will have to test that out 😄
I did not meant that for selfies (not that important). My point was the main cameras. Check it out and please lem me know what do you think? When you pan with your phone, ehile recording (4k 60) the picture tend to get a little jittery (like dropping frames). Check that out too. Great video by the way, very informative.
Hi sebastian, I am looking to buy it and I have been watching some reviews, what do you say about the battery? How many hours does it hold in intense use? And on balanced? I loved the video, I didn’t knew about your channel before, subscribing.
Thank You ! Well the battery is holding up very well for me and my girlfriend ( we both have this phone as daily drivers) So far we are impressed in terms of the battery. Both of our phones are set to balanced, and usually we charge it every other day I would say ? (Essentially we no longer recharge it during the night like with previous phones.) Just charge it whenever it gets to around 20% , and within minutes You are back to 100% (we also have the slower charging turned on but use the full 120w charging when it's need -> such an amazing feature !)
For some more details: I charged it 13 hours and 20 minutes ago, used it a lot through the day (browsing the web, social media, and also used as GPS in the car) it still shows 37% - 9 hours and 44 minutes of battery while in this use.)
@@SebastianDylag 2 years and a half, before this an iPhone 11 and before that a Xiaomi mi 9, both of them I kept for less than a year and a half and both of them got the same problem with the battery draining up too fast, that’s why now I want to choose carefully my next one. I actually got a bad loot of iPhone 11, sold him with 8 month of use because it was already at 87% of battery health. Nothing to complain about the mi 9 beside the battery after one and a half year. That’s why I return to the mi 11, and probably will get the 13t pro.
I don't think so, there is no indication to change between the two modes, so I'm guessing it doesn't, or if it does then it's not visible to the users.
I literally have a short that will be posted this month, with time lapse of it charging in 18 or 19 minutes. If You enable the charging boost and don't touch the phone, than You get 18minut charging with full 120w 😄
I have a Xiaomi 13T Pro, please just tell me how to find the wallpaper you put in the video. Or give me a wallpaper name. I really like the transition of the mountain from locked to unlocked mode.
Could someone please tell the exact difference between 13T Pro and 14 Pro? I'm on 9T Pro currently, looking forward to updgrading. But I can't understand how 13 and 14 models were announced almost at the same time.
China has a K series line up that is exclusive there and the K series equivalent would be the T series here, they are mostly identical but not entirely the same, example is Redmi k60 ultra and Xiaomi 13t pro, exactly the same except for the camera
@@johnpreston16 bigger screen (personal preference), both phones are great and at the end of the day it depends what You need. Faster charging, bigger phone/screen - Xiaomi 13t Pro Wireless charging, better processor, smaller size - Xiaomi 14
Haven't used the Samsung S23 ultra but I would say You should think about the price to performance , what other devices You are already using and also what software You prefer. 🤔
I think it worked for me, but unfortunately I can't test that as of right now. I think I've seen comments under one od my Xiaomi 13t pro videos that it's working for people 😄
@@rinkashi101me too . But I play genshin in the weekends 9 hours a day . So 4 times it's not impossible, but in the weeks with normal use I charge it after 20 o'clock 😅. But since it's so fast charging I didn't even mind .. but charge less it's better for the wealth 🔋😊
