Imagine having a bad day and on ur way back home you get to be on this train and this happens. I would probably end up crying but happily and just feel pure joy and get hope and positivity that everything will be okay and i can be better and do better 🖤
People who were on that specific time and day and came to see this I envy every single person and God how I wish I think I would be over the clouds to witness such a great performance and music
This is the kind of happening that makes you glad to be alive, not to mention glad to be living and commuting in the city. I only rode the rails for three years in the mid-90's from the Village to Bed-Sty via the L to the G and off at Classon Ave. to teach second graders that the alphabet mattered and that the written word is powerful. I'm blessed for having been a part of the cycle of the city...the cycle of the city. An appreciation for life that has never left me, and a love for the students who ruined me for any other population. I've just retired after working in Peekskill, NY for 23 years...a collective 30. The song is MY "intro" into another chapter of life.
Seeing all the different people from different walks of life smile and come together under the beauty of music. Made me cry. Life is actually really simple, people just wanna be happy, but shitty people try and ruin it. Don't let them. Keep fighting.
After a few years didnt listen to this masterpiece, i completely forgot about the existence of this song.. Suddenly, i remember about this song and thus Im searching for it including this great cover..
Who knows how many people they inspired that day and how many people took to playing music after watching them perform? Music is probably the biggest miracle that has happened to humanity.
I think its the notes, the chords chosen and chord progression that resulted in such a powerful melody, it does not have lyrics, there is not a voice singing but it doesn't need one, this song its deep and joyous, spiritual and emotional, it moves you and makes you feel things. It speaks to your heart. Doesn't matter if it's played with a beat up guitar on a subway car. All other noise vanishes. It's the power of MUSIC!
I love how everybody stayed quiet & listened/watch them play through the whole song, these people are extremely lucky to experience this Live ✨ I’m really happy everyone loved it & even wanted an Encore!!
The most powerful version of this jam, this, right here. From the lighting to the people, the bus ride, the instruments that wear their stories like badges of honor, to the iNsAne talent that is you, you and you! Fills me with ALL the feels. 💚✌
wow if i was on the train no matter where i was going or when I had to be there I would just stay until they were done.......even if i already was late for work..... that was amazing!!
Its amazing how music just uplifts everyone in this video. Music will always bring people together no matter what or who you are. We all need more of this. Brings us together as one even just for a moment.
you guys should be blessed, you guys prove that even the small acts in life can make anybody's day brighter than the sun can. ALL HAIL THE XX!!!!!!!!!!
Capturing the faces of all walks of life simply enjoying music together as one is what is most beautiful about this video. Music is the one language everyone can understand. What an incredible experience for those passengers whether they realized it or not, especially in today’s world. Wishing good health and love to everyone who reads this comment.
This shows how much music brings us together. It’s an amazing feeling. I go to this music store every chance I get and play all the instruments I can, and always seem to meet someone new. It’s so cool finding people that may have different music taste, but are still just as into it as you are. It’s so special
This is the song that plays in my head when there's silence everywhere else. You guys make me smile on a daily basis, good job and good luck to you. Never seen this video til today, awesome stuff.
The power of the music brings smile on every face :) For a little while we are feeling closer to each other, feeling happier. We are brave enough to look in the eye of a stranger and just smile. Isnt it beautiful? I bet some people felt that I would have feel : Right place , right time..
I really can't get people saying about the headshaking, this just makes the music more alive and can show how much they are into what they are playing. When you play the guitar you'll aways have that will to just feel it, and this is what they are all doing. Loved it.
Uh ohh I'm never taking care of my study materials cuz they be looking new asf even tho it has been about a year since I got them....I swear I take my education seriously 😑
This song sounds like the anxiety of anticipation building inside my chest on my way home off the road to hold the love of my life... The ever growing warmth of her embrace keeps warming my bones as I get closer to home.... The sight of her soul gazing at me through the soft brown eyes I call home... The sound of her sweet voice when we say nothing at all... The missing piece that filled the void and made me whole... The one I love Rachel Nicole... Forever Always and a Day!!!!
Absolutely beautiful! These guys get what we're doing on this Earth, at least in this particular. Awesome moment in time captured, and shared with the whole world on RU-vid.
Holy crap, that was beautiful . I know it was a cover , but they own it now . I still the love the original too. I wish I could buy this cover on I tunes or somewhere . I purchased so many city of the sun songs after that discovery. Humboldt county , Eureka ,California will love this cover. Soon. It is the energy we all want and need . Thank You. New York .
to be honest i realized this amazing song this year. They did perfect work it’s a masterpiece for me and when i listen i feel better and more positive by the way it is absolutely addictive thank u thank u🤍
The anticipation, the beginning, the build, the realization, more build, the rapture, the love that descends and envelopes the entire car and the descent into the afterglow says as much about the original artist as it does how these artists chose to play homage to it. It's perfection.
Почитал отзывы , ну что же , буду первым кто напишет на великом и могучем .... ПОТРЯСАЮЩЕ !!!! Раз десять переслушал , все равно здорово . Палец вверх !!!
I generally don't like covers but, while that is undoubtedly one, it has a soul of its own. The passion in the performance was obvious, which must have been just as much what put smiles on all those faces. Well done. Keep it up! 😎👍
I was in a psychiatric hospital just sitting down chilling with a of the patients and staff, I played this on my phone, it was a sound that everyone instantly felt I'm guessing in pretty much the same way, this is a piece to bring all walks together I reckon

This song will always have a really special place in my heart. When I was a kid my dad would play this song in the car with his hyper juiced up bass system. A lot has happened over the years and our relationship is.. very damaged. Coming across this gem of a cover was an amazing way to start the day.
The setup, the videography, the artists and their passion for music, the people smiling after a long day... Just beautiful! Thank you for the work and the inspiration! Peace and love from Mexico ❤️
