They do sound amazing live. That DJ is the shit! Is that an old Hall & Oates song from the 80's??? That's one of those songs you know the words by heart, but don't know how or why? But they made it their own! Excellent!

The xx doesn't give a fuck and I love it. They are who they want to be and make music that is unique, creative, and above all authentic. They don't portray this over the top, fame-crazy group that just wants the ratings. Their dancing is awkward and totally raw, which fits their energy so well and I found it to be a refreshing twist on performances I've seen on SNL. They haven't done something this huge in American television before and Im glad they're getting more and more recognition, their music is like nothing else.

Finally I found this. I thought it was a fever dream. Family was watching SNL on Thanksgiving and we were cracking up at the dancing with the guitars part. We thought it was a skit pretending to be a musical performance.

I love this song. The guitars both lead and bass remind of the guitars from 80's English bands like The Cure on top of a cute little funky 808 beat. And I love the samples he's playing (in the back) that he's got programmed into two small separate MIDI instruments. That actually looks like a lot of fun! I dig this track. They look so surprised by all the love too. I love it! Nice to see some artists are actually still humble and appreciative. It's nice to see. Heartwarming.

There are albums under The XX which is the guy in the back and the girl. Then 'Jamie XX' has his own stuff under Jamie XX and now the XX is back with the original singer and their bassist/vocals.

Their music doesn't require physical dance moves because if they can make your soul dance , that's the most important thing and oh boy they achieve that everytime . Well i don't think he is using launchpads, they are more like drum pads. and the fact that he has two is the point of him getting a launchpad. Like a novation launchpad where there are more triggers so he wont have to run back and forth.

Not to mention the weird, lightly strumming fingering the guy was using & the WAY-Far-Down the neck guitaring the girl was doing!
