What X said about learning how to rap like how the old heads did it instead of learning how new school rappers do it was so fire. It’s so true. You gotta master the fundamentals first. It creates longevity. That’s why so many of these new rappers are here today and gone tomorrow. Because their style has already been ran thru and it’s on to the next. It order to stay relevant, you need to have variety.

Here lately I have been thinking about him really hard.. I just love to hear his voice and remind myself of his mannerisms. So sad he’s gone it’s really got to me a lot.

I come back to this interview every now and again because this man fr changed how i viewed life. I still remember watching this interview after hearing “fuxk” for the first time, and i just had a feeling like he was gonna be someone big in the future. It’s actually crazy witnessing the beginning until the end. I stopped listening to him when he dropped 17 because like all the other x fanboys i hated the mainstream stuff he did lmao but i would hear about him occasionally like his beef with migos and would hear songs from his newer albums but when he died, it was pretty weird, like it wasn’t even real. But 5 years later he has impacted so many ppl’s lives and that’s something special. And X was the blueprint for Opium 😂

7 years ago, when No Jumper podcast was still dope. So much easier to connect with Adam during this era. He was just a dude but the industry changed him in many ways that as a viewer makes the content way less engaging, without a moral awareness, and with guests that don't have nearly as much to offer. During this time the conversations were so much more natural, it felt like the audience was learning along with Adam and that we were just siting in on a fun interview rather than a business interview.
