I’m an old fart now in my 60s and I’m supposed to be moaning about the youth of today, exams are easier, always looking at phones, national service, blah, blah. But what you’re doing ( and so many other incredible young people) is absolutely amazing, you’ve lived what was beyond our dreams just 30 years ago. Please keep making brilliant content, show us overseas adventures and keep enjoying the stuff close to home. The current Mrs J and I wish you all, your team and Alex’s enterprise every success for the future and look forward to seeing and being inspired to take more great adventures. ATB

It's great to see you so happy doing what you do. There are so many people who suffer in the jobs they have because they are too frightened to have a go at something they might have dreamed of doing as a child. I wish the tech you have today was available 40 years ago, or maybe it was but out of my price range at the time, because I would have given it a go, although, the Internet wasn't quite on the go back then either. lol. I may still give it a try using my phone and tablet. You never know, it may just get a few views on RU-vid. Anyway, tight lines Carl.

It could well be that the evolution of Carl & Alex came at just the right time as your videos/content is both familiar and, at the same time, fresh. That's a very tricky thing to pull off intentionally, let alone in a state of flux, so you should all be extremely proud of what you've achieved. Roll on 2023!!

I’m sure you have a fan club here in Australia, when I meet kids while out fishing and helping them out I always recommend your Chanel , even though we need to put things in an Aussie context, you give such a great inspiration, teaching and entertainment, keep up the great work I’m certain you are well received here in Australia too 👍

Yours is probably my favourite fishing channel. I was bummed out when Alex split; assumed that it meant that things would wind down. Pleasantly surprised that it's still going string and your synergy with Cal is really good.
