This is an example of refurbished Soviet Russian: 1951r. Episode 4 will be a different 1951 Russian. If you would like to help out and send me a tip: / 2aedu
I have a '51 tula just like that, all matching but no one ever talks or mentions, the stamped barrel numbers just under the gas tube. They don't all have about 20 character stampings?
When your tula got refurbed they did the smart thing and A: ripped the sight block off and slapped on an izzy. or B: it was replaced after the izzy 1953r series when izzy toyed with it a bit. and ended up making it just better, then a bunch got changed out while in the arsenal. It is the better sight block and the OG OG ones are practically impossible to find.
If its your only one, then clean it up and shoot it. If you have another to shoot, then keep it up. It will increase in value. The SKS is a great shooter. Thanks for watching man.
Brother i have three sks rifles. One is Russian and it pretty much looks like what you have there. Mine says 1950 on iitand under the tula star is that little box, i never knew what it meant till now. It has all matching numbers and that pretty Russian red wood, i swear i love that collor on the wood. Has the bayonet, hole 9 yards. Its a great shooter. I couldn't find the old numbers on the stock. But i found a set of numbers that matched the rest of the numbers on the weapon. I would like to send you some pictures of the mak90 i told you about in another video, i told you that i think it started its life as a poly tech. The inside of the reciever is a little different.
the 31 is nicer looking then your 49 i bought a 51 out of our canadian tire store before they quit selling them beauty was all matching numbers and no rework and perfect blue price 239 bucks
@@2aEdu beleive it or not but the 49 can still be had here for around 450 and up the all matching numbered one would run you about 649 which even by our standards is pretty cheap
