@@aranighosh3945 Well he said Djokovic got lucky after he beat him at the USOpen, he even called his famous return a lucky shot... But yeah, normally he is not such a salty loser, though some of his fans are
@@anustart-loveeachother7680 Luck is a very important thing In Sport..very very important..despite hard work, skill and determination u still need a little bit of luck always to be the victor..Just Look at Lionel Messi...just because of wretched luck he has lost 3 copa america and a world cup final in his career(2 of them in penalty shootouts) despite playing very well.
I was really impressed by the humility of Nadal: ‘he is not close to me, he is better than me today. We will see tomorrow ‘. Compared to the arrogance of Federer speaking of Djokovic’s lucky shots…
I don’t know if I’d call it arrogance to be fair to Federer’s point. Djokovic came up with god like returns to save match points. If I was Roger, I’d also be in a mental state of disbelief
agree, the snobism of federer (his false modestly) it's so irritating, in all his banal and boring speech there is nothing that seems true, nadal much more spontaneous and true, novak remains the GOAT (and so smart, direct and full of sympathy also)
I agree that Federer is a good winner but not always the best loser. But can you really blame him at that moment, he had just lost a heartbreaking match and was expected to analyse the match 30 minutes after.
I've been a Djoko fan since the first time I saw him play but I SO admire Rafa's class EDIT: Those transition affects on the USO highlights made that section so unenjoyable
@@danielkriz7533 After USO 2011, Federer has a right to be pissed and salty, because to lose after having two match points two years in a row in the semis to the same guy at 40-15 ... well, it's just irritating to say the least ... but the way he handled it made me lost a lot of respect for him as a player.
I totally agree. In 2011 season we saw the greatest level of men's tennis ever. Finally, it all culminated in the US Open 2011... Taking into account the quality of tennis, as well as the circumstances that accompanied the tournament, US Open 2011 is the Greatest Men's Grand Slam of all time.
Federer got tired of winning grand slan on chicken (Roddick and Agassi already in a wheelchair with back problems), at that time Nadal was starting and Djokovic had not even appeared!
Novak, who had to fight some of the other greatest for most of his titles and tournaments. Novak Djokovic on the way to be the greatest! Nole, Nole Nole!
Of course NOVAK DJOKOVIC to win his 17 grand slam must overpass all greatest tennis name's like federer nadal and Murray biggest nightmare for everyone.... don't forget David Ferer Delpo and wawrinka
Its extremly frustraiting if you are one of the two best ever and the other one beats you like this. Rafa is a true champion for this appreciation he gives novak. Biggest respect for his sportsmanship.
@@vangogh1184 if you see last 10years NOVAK DJOKOVIC collect more grand slam then federer nadal together.... weeks number one record soon will be broken down by the world champion
As a Novak fan since 2006 I must say that Nadal is also a great sportsman but Novak literally saved my life when so many of my dearest and closest friends were dieing around me, his wins were the only bright spot and actually at the time only thing wich was worth living to see 2021 Golden Slam možeš ti to
After the 7th final loss in a row against Nole at AO12, Rafa finally came back with 3 consecutive final wins over Nole (Monte Carlo-Rome-FO). Like really, these two have the best rivalry in tennis history, way better than FedNo or Fedal (which is more dramatic, but has lower quality)
@@karan200590 and funny enough, after that, Rafa began to lose tons of times against Nole till 2017. The only win he got during that dark period of time was French Open 2014 !!!
@@nhatlongvu8896 before that french he defeated him in rome also. and in 2015 and 2016 he lost every other player, his ranking dropped considerably, so nothing special that he lost to only djoker, he lost to every other player in those years
@@Siguich I have Novak as No1 but I can't choose between Rafa and Roger for No2 spot, Rafa on Clay Roger on Grass obviously but then it gets tough on Hard court, Rafa has a better record at the AO but Roger has more wins overall and Rafa hasn't beaten Roger for 7 years away from Clay....Tough decision!
@@sunritroykarmakar4406 lol your mad he’s better than your favorite player. Who’s the only one of the 3 with a positive h2h against both the other guys and hold all 4 GS title at the same time? The goat, that’s who.
Probably all last decade he didn't have answer to Novak's brilliance, except RG. Rafa is a great warrior & champion, but Djoković is better tenis player, greatest of the great actually, that's the fact.
Of the 3 of them, Rafa is the worst at in-game adjustments and the least willing to change his playing style. Novak and Roger figured out how to beat Rafa, but Rafa hasn't figured out how to beat Novak on grass or hard court. Once tormented by Rafa's lefty super topspin, this was no longer the case when Roger hired Ivan Ljubičić who improved his one handed backhand to overcome Rafa's topspin. Roger won 7 of his last 8 meetings against Rafa. The biggest missed opportunity was at AO 2017 finals where Rafa was up 3-1 in the 5th and deciding set. Roger won the next 5 games to seal the comeback victory. In this game, Rafa didn't make good in game adjustments to disrupt Roger's surge. Rafa kept hitting to Roger's backhand repeatedly thinking that it's still 2007 but throughout much of that match, Roger showed his backhand side was no longer a weakness.
Nadal in 2008-2010 was playing like a superhuman, his physicality was insane. I always felt like he could just brute force his way to victory no matter what. Djokovic did something special here, his level was out of this world. It would've been incredible to see if this Djokovic could've won against Nadal in the RG final too, but unfortunately Federer stopped him.
Rafa kept accepting the CHALLENGE, as he himself said.......for years....and once he TRULY realised that Nole was inevitably better overall and there's no stopping him..... That's when we saw the unsportsmanlike SALTY side of Rafa...a side NO1E would've enjoyed immensely .....coz he knew that he has finally BROKEN his greatest rival FOREVER!!💯
great players...both...athletic...strong willed...and both with gigantic mental strength...rafa losing all finals and yet acknowledging opponent here and talking optimistically about tomorrow...ooh boy at times i love human beings...truly champion stuff
That was the year when I predicted Jokovich will be a new champion just after watching him play Nadal in Wimbledon. I do not know to date that he won all 6 matches against Nadal that year but that Wimbledon I still remember watching and bet my flatmates that Jokovich will be next champion like Federer and at that time he was still emerging but the way he outlasted Nadal in Wimbledon was pure magic.Pushing him to the far end of court and just force him into one corner of the court and then score a point. No wonder that match was the beginning of many an epic victories in Aus open 2012 and beyond.
I love Novak after his heroic response to Australia and I was so happy he won Wimbledon 2022 but this video is almost a celebration of Rafa's honesty and humility. What a great sportsman Rafa is. Such a tough choice to route for one over the other. If it wasn't for the hideous treatment of Djokovic by the Ozzie government Rafa would still be my favorite
Or he was a bit complacent? Achieved the career slam in 2010 with 3 slams in a year. He stepped off the gas and was even injured at 2011 start. Lost to Ferrer in 2011 Australia
That's why Nadal will always be ahead of Federer, for his honesty, humility, respect, and fighting spirit. Novak, Rafa, Roger, this is the order in history books...
Rafa , we Love and Respect you too ! Honestly ! You understanding fer PLAY and you Admit ho is #1 in the Word ! You did good and it was wery excited woching two of you ! Best to you as #2 and Thanks for your Nice words about Word #1 !
The difference of Nadal and Federer is they are both great tennis players, but Djokovic is a CHAMPION,the iron mental who can returns in desperate situations and won the matchs manny Times specially against Federer and others.( congrat.Nole from Thailand)
Those video effects you used during US Open section were beyond atrocious! I had to skip that whole part because it was unwatchable. Please don't ever use that again, keep it simple.
I'm a Nole supporter but Nadal has always been a fair player beside being a great champion of course. When he loses he never try to make up some excuses unlike "someone else" who is still sayibg that Nole won the US Open match(and title) because of a lucky shot.
As a tennis player, when i face an opponent I expect a good forehand but when I face one with an amazing backhand! 😅 I always knew I had to play at my best to win
I like answers of Nadal, he addmit if opponent is better, Federer would say Djokovic had just lucky shots no matter he won same number of Grand Slams and is still no.1 more than a year!
Federer said djokovic was lucky because of how he played the return in the semi final,he had basically thrown in the towel but the return went in so he was lucky,Federer was saying how it was which was lucky.
@@chunks23 Are there Special Federer rules how everyone have to play? At the end it's all about what has been achieved, I mean in the past at the beginning of Federer his career the Grand Slams were important for Federer, but today when others achieve the same, it is of course no longer important, but the style how Federer plays.
Nadal reached hell of alot of finals for someone's who hated by keyboard warrior fans for being a bad player on hard courts lol..... what a graceful and humble champion 🏆
Rafa played just as well in 2011 as he did in 2010, but Novak was just a different beast that year and going into the 2012 AO where Rafa came out and said that the best tennis that he ever played was against Novak in the 2012 AO Final, and still Rafa came up short and was defeated. Rafa lost 7 straight finals to Novak, it’s just mind boggling how Novak was able to produce such a level in 2011. 2015 would be the closest Novak came to emulating his 2011 season, even though Novak may have won another title or so in 2015, the competition wasn’t as strong in 2015 as it was in 2011 making 2011 the greatest and most goat like season tennis ever by Novak.
But check this out. Djokovic in 2011 had statisticly worsr season than Federer in 2006. Djokovic in 2011 had nearly 15 000 points while Djokovic in 2015 had nearly 17 000 points. I get it that competition in 2011 was tougher, but in 2015 he literally hadn't close matches, he simply destroyed the rest of the competition. Warinka in 2015 was also at his peak. In 2015 in semi finals and final he faced twice Murray, thice Wawrinka and twice Federer and than he beat Nadal on clay at, he beat Federer at sone masters tour, Warinka ana Murray 3 times I think. Soo altough in 2011 he faced the toughest competition, in 2015 he won 3 slams while playing 4 times in finals, he won unbelievable 6 masters that year and won ATP Finals against Federer I think while in 2011 he won 3 slams and lost semi finals to Federer, he won 5 masters and didn't win the ATPA Finals. So I think both years were as impressive...
@@hristijandimitrovski8664 No Novak’s 2011 season was on par with Rogers 2006 season, Novak’s 2015 season was statistically the best in tennis history, however because the competition wasn’t as strong in 2015, I give the edge to Novak’s 2011 season as he beat prime Nadal and slightly out of prime Roger 10-1 that year between both of them. Novak beat Rafa in 7 consecutive finals between 2011 and 2012 AO which was unprecedented.
Lots of respect to #Rafa you are the champion. #Djokovic it's an eye feast see you perform. You are a great player and human being. Both are my favourites. But I can say one thing that, I Love to watch Rafa and Djokovic than others.
Thank you for the awesome video! It was very well put together! What’s the name of the song/beat you had in the background? I love the elevated bass on it!
That's the most dominant season of tennis I've ever seen, & it announced the arrival of Djokovic into tbe Federer/Nadal realm. Made the big 2 the big 3.
i remember being a Rafa fan and not liking Federer and Nole comes out of NOWHERE and is KILLING my Rafa INSTEAD of Federer, but that would change SOMEWHAT over time !
When Roger loses to Nole: he was lucky!! When Rafa loses to Nole : he was better than me !!! And people dare to call Chokerer the classiest tennis player 😅😅
I'm a huge huge djoker fan,bt deep down everybody knows to beat rafa even once a year takes 110% of any player.only djoker apart from fed can go toe to toe with nadal on any surface.....rafa is freaking legend.....novak n rafa are equals...none Supreme.......
