The year with the Swedish Royal Family (2017) 

Definitely my favourite Royal Family. Distinguished but not distant. Victoria has been well guided by her parents. All that is required of a leading example. Sincere intelligent profoundly human. It is no surprise she is much loved by her countrymen. The example was there for their Majesty's, children to follow. And the Country is truly beautiful.

I find in general that Scandinavians are modest, kind and civil.

I'm not into royalty at all, but this family really looks so 'normal' and appreciative of their privileges AND put in real effort, going way beyond just symbolical gestures. BTW my name's also Estelle! I'm 62, but still making the most of my life in Chilean Patagonia, climbing volcanoes, and hope the little princess also enjoys lots of adventures as she grows older. I've been to Sweden - lovely country. Hope it doesn't get destroyed by terrorists. Best wishes for your future.

The reason why I love this royal family is because they are REAL! I adore how they are open with the people. The British royals should really learn more from them😊

Im into royal families lately. Been watching the britains royal history and such, and this is the first time ive watch about the swedish royals. I must say swedish is way different from britain. Britain is more, glamorous and controversial. While swedish is just simple, down to earth, lovely royal people.

The swedish and the denish monarchy are my favorites. Authentic, native and very close to the people. They shows their emotions (like crown prince of denmark had tears in his eyes when he saw his bride)

Such down-to-earth, practical, warm people! I'd be proud to have them as my royal family!

I started watching videos on the Swedish royal family after watching the latest royal wedding, then went back and watched the other two and various christenings and birthday celebrations. I too am extremely impressed with this royal family, especially the Crown Princess. I admire her choice in a husband, she married for love and it is a joy seeing such a happy family life for her and her family and for her siblings as well. I see a great love for Sweden in the Crown Princess, and a great desire to do all she can for her beloved country. I wish her and her family well. It is a treat to be able to watch this documentary, thank you again!!!

I find the Swedish royal family very close to their people, like there is no barrier between them. It’s amazing. I want to visit Stockholm but I can’t speak Swedish or understand the language. Not sure if I can walk around the city or take public transport.

I love the work the Queen has done with protecting children worldwide and that her daughter is also involved with it. Crown Princess Victoria is awesome, Prince Carl Philip is so sweet; he is so patient with his son Prince Alexander as he acts up during his brother’s christening!

Love watching the Swedish Royal if only I could understand what they are talking about in their language. Subtitles preferred please.

Swedish royals do more for their country than the British ones despite having little to no powers compared to them. Despite being a republican, I still have respect for royalty that's aware of their own privilege, that is humble, and are actually doing something other than just showing up on the balcony of their palace once or twice a year to smile and wave. The woman at the start of the video summed it up perfectly why I respect them: "You notice that the royal children want to be more like ordinary people.". They earn their respect, while the British royal family demands respect.

Would love to have this documentary being subtitled in English!
