I took the Mitsubishi Colt Ralliart to Phillip Island Grand Prix track using Yokohama A052s for the first time. Using tyre temperatures I was able to work out the surprising answer to how much pressure I needed to put into them. I'm actually running them at a slightly lower pressure now, but that's another video. I'm glad the video was useful though.

I was talking with a friend who runs bunch of diffeent tires on the nordschleife, direzzas, AR1, and the A052. He said the A052 is fine with a lot of camber. He runs his BMW E46 with over -4 on the front. I was suprised

Very informative video. I have just purchased a set of A052's for my MR2 MK3 2ZZ and can tell even on the road the OE tyre pressures are WAY to low as you can feel them squirming around. Lots of testing and tweaking to do at my next track I feel.

how funny, i drive 2 bar at the front and at 2.4 bar it starts losing grip :)

With more track days I now have found that Phillip Island has different pressure needs to most other tracks because of the high speed corners. That video is a work in progress.

@@flavioschrenk2425 The colt is just floppy at that pressure - feels terrible till the temperatures and pressures rise. I do run it now on slightly lower pressures than this video but still nothing like 2 bar.
