I feel so bad for yiheng. He's taking on that pressure at 9 years old. Its insane that he even took on this kind of challenge against somebody 10 years older that him. I believe in him. Also great job to tymon
+1 to tall of this. It makes me so sad to see. Cubing is supposed to be FUN. It seems like for Yiheng, it's been positioned as something he has to WIN. Best wishes to him in doing that, and I'm sure his future is bright as a destined world champion, but I fear he's going to get there having missed out on all the joy that every other cuber really seems to experience, whether they win or lose.
I feel so bad for Yiheng. As an Asian like him I can understand that he is under a lot of pressure. The pressure comes from the expectation of achievement and reputation from the family and from the kid himself is extreme. It’s just like a bomb that can explode whenever the emotion of the kid collapse. Poor not only Yiheng but also a lot of Asian kids outhere are having the same situation😢😢😢
I know it was hard for yiheng, he had a lot of pressure on him, and he still has more room to improve at cubing, in a few years he will dominate above every top cuber OMG 134 LIKES KEEP GOING!
@@nikmrni think he expects too much from himself and its very normal for a kid his age to be sad from losing, his parents are his biggest supporters, there are many parents who wouldnt help their kid excel in these kinds of things
@@winnter5141 I saw the video and she made a response about it. She wasnt berating him, she is also one of his coaches so she has to give feedback about his solves. Hes a kid and kids give themselves high expectations, if yiheng wasnt happy with cubing or his mom, that anger and sadness would show more as kids are bad at hiding emotions
@@KPR888 Usually that would be the case, but asian supertalents pretty much always have parents that force them to do things like that and achieve something at a very young age. That's why there are so many top cubers that are just asian kids below 12 or 13
Es normal que un niño llore, además de toda la presión que hay sobre él es muy joven para poder manejar este tipo de situasiones. Cuando crezca creceran sus manos tambien y será un moustro del speedcubing
Alright I am big Max Park, Feliks Zemdegs and Tymon fan but poor kid, He is insane and he lost twice a month.... It is unfair for him, he could have done it.
At a young age, competing against adults, being watched by the world losing, sucks.. But in a year or 2, looking back at this moment, he'll probably realize that being at the top means you can't lose.
yiheng is a great child, even though when he loses or he cries, he absolutely tried his best to become the winner of the championship, atleast het got into the finals, "Every legend have made a mistake before, they learn from it."
hell definitely come back stronger in the future. but I do sincerely hope his parents encourage him for what he already achieved in cubing than punish him for his losses. otherwise, he'll hate this hobby and we'll not see a fruitful career from him for too long.
it happens. from losing by a hair during the worlds then losing by a blowout. but this is were champions are made. he will come back stronger than ever. and pls china stop putting too much pressure on this kids.
Honestly, i think it's good for him in the long run. If you peak that young, you are more likely to peter out or lose interest/motivation to continue improving. And it will make the eventual victory that much sweeter. He WILL be the best in the world one day, I'm sure of it. No need to rush it. Champions take years to build. Good luck Yiheng and don't give up!
This was like me at a chess tournament, Once I thought I was safe to go to the biggest tournament of the country in Calgary, Ontario. He made a move I didn’t like so I said the word “crap” . He told a worked that I was swearing at him but I only said crap. I ended up winning the game. The same guy talked to me after the game, He removed my point because I was ‘’swearing’’ at the kid. I didn’t make it. I cried for a whole hour.
Невозможно смотреть как он плачет, передайте ему от меня, чтобы у него было вечное изобилие и процветание, и только самые лучшие победы. К тому, на него оказывали давление, это нечеловечно, пусть Ихену бог простит все грехи...
if i was there, i woud say to yiseng: thats fine, he is aldut and knows more about cubing and dont worry yoi will beat him anyday. just practice l, you will improve.
no offence to tymon but i feel like his reactions were over the top for beating a 9 year old, he could have at least shown some pity towards the fact how a 9 yo would react, but thats just my opinion
