Having done a few Munro's and mountains now, the next step was heading up in the winter. We found some lovely snow and got the spiky things out for practice and some fun, before attempting to make the summit of the mountain in winter.

Good evening, what a beautiful evening. We're up here in the Glencoe winter mountaineering under the gazing eyes of Stob Coire nan Lochan daggering up a snowy pinnacle gully... Fantastic :) and a fantastic video to watch later after our adventure. Had a rest in the hidy hole courtesy of Murray & Gerry before infamous bad step facing the cross bow :) stay classy 👏 ATB M☘️

Great video as always. Took me back many years. Ben Ime was my first munro done on a school trip in 1968 or 9. 2 teachers 6 or 7 pupils and ONE ice axe. Very much before H&S All I remember is a fair amount of soft snow not at all icy (just as well) not sure time of year but obviously winter. Great memories of eating a tin of ambrosia creamed rice on summit. Nae scotch egg or pork pie for me.😉

Fabulous video . Rekindled memories. My dad took me up the snow laden slopes of Ben Lomond in 1981 with an old wooden axe, Stubai crampons (that he did up) and a campari ruckscac with an aluminium frame. Fast forward to my own lad and it was replicated on Stob a choire Odhair. This is a heart warming video .........Alpiniste Gerry is brilliant and your channel is peerless. PORK PIES for the win!!!!!!! P.s the young lads are an absolute creditto you both.
