Thank you for your video. I have the ZIIP Halo and absolutely love it, it has made such a visible difference to my skin. I am 68 and cannot remember when I have had so many compliments about my skin and how well I look. My husband commented on how much younger I look. It is an amazing device that is addictive. In the past I have used Nuface and other MC devices but none match this light element device that delivers in so many ways.
I have the NuFace mini. It’s microcurrent without nano, but less expensive and equally easy to use. It definitely de-puffs my face like a Gua Sha. I tend to get aggressive with a Gua Sha and press too hard. The NuFace, glides effortlessly and the cool balls feel so nice. My other favorite device is a red light therapy mask. Skin tone is noticeably more even using only 3 minutes a day. The key to any device and skin-care is consistency. The key to pro-aging is attitude. Taking care of yourself however it fits in your budget is a bonus and smiling projects positivity and confidence.
Thanks for this great advice! You are absolutely right about consistency, so many purchase a device and then it just sits in a drawer, and YES attitude is everything! Hope you're having a great weekend!
Thank you Barbara, they are somewhat pricey, You should look into the Gua Sha tool and facial (look up on RU-vid) - not expensive and a great facial. Never too late to try something new for your skin - like I said in the video, not to turn back the hands of time, but for subtle improvements. All the best, KL x
Never say too old! I am 76 and am happy doing my skincare. Have really focused for the last year and I can tell the difference. My skin is so much softer, the Ziip has tighten up a few things. Do I look 60….lol no but I look better than I did and I feel better which is the most important reason. Go for it whatever skin care you can afford!
Hello Kerry Lou, another fab video, so informative... I totally agree with you that ageing is a process we can't stop, but we surely can take care of us by pampering ourselves 😍and eating and drinking right. I truly enjoy my body massages at a spa and facials at home with a metal roller. You look ever so gorgeous as always my dear..and always a pleasure to watch you and your interesting videos. Thank you so much.... Take care
I’m 73 and my skin is pretty good but one issue that really worries me are my lip wrinkles. I’ve considered lip fillers or something to minimise them but reports from others say it’s an unpredictable result. I’d love something that I could do at home that would minimise them. Anyone’s experience or recommendations will be gratefully received. 🙏🏻
Hi I have been using the ziip halo for 3 weeks and have not noticed any difference to my wrinkles or skin tone. I am 63 years old. I will persevere though as it is quite expensive and I do like wasting my money.
I had frozen shoulder 2 yrs ago. It’s an issue from lower estrogen because estrogen helps with inflammation. My frozen shoulder was a 2 yr process. Horrible pain.
Hi Leesh, Glad yours is over, did you get full ROM back? only someone that's experienced it truly knows the strange kind of pain that comes with frozen shoulder, so thanks for your comment! As you know, there are the three stages, I believe I am nearing the thawing stage - I added acupuncture to my treatment, me and my PT guy are both amazed at the difference it has made! I'll talk about that in an upcoming video ;-D All the best to you for 2024!
Just a warning from an Australian purchaser, I purchased the Ziip Halo and never received it. Customer service is not helpful and I’ve read lots of other Australian purchasers and same problem plus others who got one, didn’t work and are having to move mountains to try and get a refund and or replacement. Australian consumers are not covered and the UK based Ziip Halo knows this , hence all the problems. Buyer Beware. I’m out AU- $700 and no Ziip Halo in sight .
I received a faulty product and after months of showing evidence ( video footage of ziip malfunctioning) I got my refund. So unfortunate that it's such a hassle to buy from Australia :-(
I use the nuface for years. I got another nuface regular size as my mini newface stopped working before 10 months....I dont look forward anymore to do the Newface reason I have two so i can do the treatments fast. I feel there heavy big and maybe because I haven't seen really any positive results, i decided to research this small light tool.... I haven't purchase yet but a little more search.... Nuface is more for younger skins. One thing I am attracted to this tool doesnt have to be connected to the iphone...
Thanks for the feedback! I'm really glad to hear you re doing some research before jumping in to a new device - you have to be smart navigating the world of devices! 😉
I do agree you need to keep using the device and then after a couple of months you start noticing a change. Not dramatic. Its possible if i massaged my face for the same time i have seen the difference. Just saying this in case any ladies out there feel they can agford this. Id say use gua sha and a nice facial massage. I wish i could agree witg the statement there us string evidence in clinical trials im nit sure. Ive bern looking. I can see the science on nano current and skin at all. I really would like ti find it as im working on a leap of faith. That all said im continuing with my ziip ive spent my money. Thank you for your video
I sent my ziip back. I can't see visible results in your case, either. You are a beautiful woman who looks her age. I think very often we just want to see changes so much that we imagne them... I wouldn't recommend ziip to anyone, it doesn't do anything noticable for anyone that is not us....
Hello, I received the zip halo device on 23/7/2024. I have downloaded the app for the device. There is a problem, I have activated the bluetooth , even though I sync with Melanie's treatment and follow her exactly from the beginning, my device shuts down early or alerts me to switch to the other side, while Melanie continues the session. What happens ; What should I do ;
Hi, Sorry you're having a problem, please contact Ziip directly and have them talk you through this issue, as they are better equipped to help you. I'm sure they will have you using your device in no time, they have excellent customer service!
Kerry Lou, Thank You So Much for your review! I had a question, I have been using the Mediate Aloe Vera Gel that you had suggested with the NuFace, will I still be able to use this product with the Halo? Happy Holidays! Mary
Happy holidays to you! Yes, you should be fine with the Mediate brand gel, the gels that you get from ZIIP offer more of a Lux experience, they have more active skincare ingredients, but any sonogram type gel will conduct the current 😉
Sometimes I do notice a kind of slight "electricity" in the teeth, ( hard to describe) I've experienced that when having a professional microcurrent facial as well. once in a while I get a little zap, but it usually means I need to apply a bit more gel. If your interested in getting a Ziip, you could check on their return policy before buying 😉
I know what you mean, I have avoided some devices because I know the technology behind them can damage fat cells. I haven't had that experience with the microcurrent devices. (I have very thin skin too, I need my fat cells!)
I don’t feel the same. I believe it helps with lymphatic drainage that de-puffs the face and improves blood flow by stimulating circulation. What I do believe is that these devices are overpriced. The margins for retail markup is excessive but people buy them due to fear mongering marketing. So often I can think negatively about a product to justify not buying them. Like $200 face moisturizers. So unnecessary. A $10 face serum or cream can be just as effective as long as you are consistent.
You're right about the expense - I wonder what it costs to manufacture these devices? I wish they were more accessible to women who would like them but cannot afford them. I also use some nonelectrical, (manual devices) I should do a video on those too!
No, it doesn't get rid of fat cells, if that's what you mean, although that's why I'm leery of RF devices, I heard they can reduce fat which I don't want for my face.
