These guys have spent 50 years singing the same ol' songs - and, at the same time, remaining friends and reasonably sane. They deserve an award for that.
A couple of real gentlemen! I've always loved the slightly haunting sound of Colin Blunstone's voice and he hasn't lost it at all...he also has such a lovely speaking voice. I confess to being crazy about his mouth when I was young and he still has those great lips too. They are such a great talent!!!
Just saw these guys in at the Sausalito Art & Music Festival over Labor Day Weekend. They were fantastic, and seemingly ageless. Really happy for them and their belated success.
From Philippines to America, the Zombies is on top of my favorites - saw them 3x in Florida, 3rd time I had Meet & Greet, had lovely photo with them, sat on very first row A - money I paid for the privilege was well worth it! Long live the Zombies - Colin & Rod, continue the great journey ... MABUHAY!!😘😊😉💓🎉👍
Colin and Rod obviously a lot older now, but looking and sounding great as always!!!!!!! Colin Blunstone is my biggest hero and a huge influence on me. It's hard to believe it was back in 2001 in the spring or summer of that year I saw him and Rod in NYC at a tiny nightclub and they were amazing. Colin has a lot of songs that people don't know about which are classics such as "I Want To Say A Prayer" especially that whole album Ennismore, the album One Year, well all of them and "I Want To Say A Prayer" and the album its on Echo Bridge are brilliant.Everything new and recent with Rod has been amazing. We need somebody to bring back the power of the 60s and 70s music I mean all of it. Music was going through a lot of good things in the 80s and early 90s it tailed off bad after Kurt Cobain died. A bit scary how all of a sudden 1995 comes along and there's a huge drop off in quality. I never would have said "Rock is nearly dead" until now. The 2000s have been dreadful with most new bands just a big throwaway waste. Listen to the classics instead like The Zombies they speak for themselves!
I saw them in Portland Oregon USA and they were stellar. I even covered "the way I feel inside" on my channel. I've got everything they ever put out. Colin's voice is better than ever.
I live in San Francisco and they're going to be at Sausalito (right across Golden Gate Bridge) first week in September. I grew up on 80's music but I LOVE The Zombie's "spooky" sound. Can't wait!
Wooo! I was born in 1992 and I LOVE Them =) That's awesome that you have reunited and tour! Wow I didn't know stuff about this band until now. Very interesting! God bless you all!

Definitely a top 3 favorite band with The Searchers, and The Beatles in the Philippines since I was a teen in 1965. I'm 71 now and still here YouTubing my favorite bands, playing my favorites of them.
Lovely interview...wonderful to see Jim Rodford who sadly died early 2018.... one of the loveliest men you could meet...We are local to The Zombies...seen them many times...last time was Jim’s tribute concert when the 4 surviving band members sang together along with Argent & Arc which if one of Jim’s sons...the other is Zombies drummer...& 2 granddaughters.
I was too young to know of The Zombies in the 60s, but when I first got into music one of the most memorable iconic distinctive songs was Argent - Hold Your Head Up. Brilliant!!!
Our Band just (finally) at my insistence, tried "Time of the Season" after years of wanting to do it and its easy and sounds mind blowing. I am So glad we did it So thankful to the Zombies for a great, great timeless song.
Sonia Basa may have had something to do with Zombies being extremely popular in the Philippines at that time. She opened her afternoon radio show on DZWS with the song I Love You by the Zombies. Desperately seeking Sonia. :(
I'm going to see them tomorrow evening and am ecstatic. It's going to be amazing .Plus I am bring my wife who has no idea what to expect hehe......that's ok
The Zombies are playing a worldwide livestream on September 18. veeps.events/TheZombies_YT tickets are only $20. You should see them! They're filming it from Abbey Road Studios in London.Once in a lifetime opportunity!
Is there a better reason to actually buy this record? That fact that it mostly goes to them makes me want to buy another copy, like my boy Paul Weller!
